Meet Mowgli, one of the kindest, best-behaved, gentlest pups you'll ever meet!

Mowgli may be young in years. But he's already amazingly mature and well-behaved, thanks to some excellent volunteer training and positive experiences in the human world. In fact, we think this pup will make an incredible service dog as well as a beloved companion for a very lucky family. Just check out his skills:

Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats.

16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events.

When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination.

We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)
by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),
and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
