13. Ozzie Osbourne
Young (9 months) · Male · Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed

Meet Ozzie Osbourne! ❤️
Ozzie is a sweet, lovable guy with a big personality, lots of energy, and a heart full of love! He gets along wonderfully with cats, does great with children and smaller dogs, and can be a little shy around dogs bigger than he is. With proper introductions and a little patience, he has so much potential to be a wonderful companion.
Read more about Ozzie Osbourne
Ozzie already knows some basic training, including sit and leave it, and he’s always happy to show off his good manners—especially when snacks are involved! He loves treats, fruits, and veggies, and he’s definitely not one to turn down a tasty reward. When it’s time for fun, Ozzie enjoys toys, playing fetch, bath time, car rides, and trips to the water. This energetic boy would love a family who can keep him busy with playtime, adventures, and continued training.
Ozzie will need time, patience, and understanding as he adjusts to his new home. Unfortunately, his previous home left him crated for long periods, and he no longer views a crate as the safe, comfortable space it should be. He’ll need a family willing to work with him at his own pace, help him build confidence, and show him that he can feel safe and secure again. A little patience will go a long way with this boy!
Ozzie has so much love to give and deserves a home that understands that settling in takes time. If you’re looking for an energetic, treat-loving companion to share adventures with and help blossom into his best self, Ozzie Osbourne might just be your guy! ❤️

18. Malibu
Adult (1 year 6 months) · Female · Unknown breed (short coat)

Meet Malibu!
Sweet Mommy Malibu was found dumped up Humbug in Yreka with her three puppies. She was previously owned and microchipped, but sadly, no one ever came forward to reclaim her.
Despite everything she’s been through, Malibu has been an absolute doll with every person she’s met. She was a relentless, devoted mama who poured everything she had into caring for her puppies, and now that her babies are ready to start their own journeys, it’s finally Malibu’s turn. ❤️

Malibu is officially spayed and ready for a forever home—one where she’ll never be abandoned or forgotten again. She’s ready to leave her mama days behind and become someone’s beloved companion.
If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient girl with a heart of gold, Malibu may just be your girl.

30. Hobo
Young (8 months) · Male · Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)

Hobo has been home fostered several times since arriving at Rescue Ranch as a 3 month old puppy. He is now 8 months old and reaching for adolescence. His foster Mom describes him this way:
Sweet tempered and gentle
No visible prey drive
Dog friendly and non-reactive
Devoted and affectionate
Cooperative with grooming
Enjoys hugs and belly rubs
Low Moderate energy; more into sniffer walks than zoomies
Trained to use a dog door
Travels willingly in a car
Sleeps through the night
Rarely barks
Hobo also comes with some quirks identified by his foster Mom:
Read more about Hobo
timid with strangers; fearful with men but never aggressive
bonds quickly with most ladies
startles when in unfamiliar or busy/noisy areas
We believe Hobo's quirks are primarily puppy behavior and will moderate as he grows more experienced and confident in a stable and loving home. Hobo prefers to be with his people above everything else, including playing with his dog pals. If you are looking for a devoted companion who enjoys your company on couch or in an adventure visit him at the Rescue Ranch or arrange a meeting with his foster mom in Ashland.

33. Deion
Adult (1 year 9 months) · Female · Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)

Meet Mommy Deion
Deion is one very special mama who came to Rescue Ranch with her litter of 11 puppies, lovingly nicknamed The Tailgaters. She was one of five mama dogs who arrived with their puppies after being rescued from illegal marijuana grows, where they had been living in difficult circumstances.
Through it all, Deion has remained a soft, gentle girl who is now ready for a chapter that is all about her. She has spent so much of her time caring for her puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be cared for.

Deion is looking for her place to land—a peaceful, loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and discover all the wonderful things life has to offer beyond being a mama.
She was graciously cared for alongside the other moms and their puppies while they made their way to Rescue Ranch, and now this beautiful girl is ready to leave motherhood behind and become someone’s cherished companion.
Her puppies may have been her past, but Deion’s forever family is still waiting to be found.
