Meet Nyah! Sunshine with Four Legs and a Flippy Ear

Some dogs just have it. Nyah is that girl. That undeniable something that draws you in and makes you fall in love. She’s effortlessly charming, endlessly happy, and has a way of making everyone she meets feel like the most important person in the world. There’s just something about this girl, and once you meet her, you’ll understand.

At just 10 months old and 30 pounds, Nyah is a spring-loaded little spark plug with one flippy ear, a heart of gold, and an absolutely contagious zest for life. She loves people. She loves other dogs. She loves toys, adventures, belly rubs, and especially a good game of fetch. As far as Nyah is concerned, life is one big, wonderful opportunity to have fun and make friends.

And the remarkable thing? Life hasn’t always been kind to her.

Nyah came to our rescue as a stray, having endured demodex and a serious burn injury along her back. But you would never know it from her outlook on life. This girl doesn’t seem to have a cynical bone in her body. She’s all love, all joy, and completely convinced that everyone she meets is her new best friend.

She’s also got brains to match that big personality! Nyah recently graduated from a Board & Train program and knows sit, down, place, stay, and come. She’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, sleeps through the night, and has even practiced her manners on outings to Lowe’s, TJ Maxx, and Home Depot.

Nyah is still very much a puppy, and sometimes all that enthusiasm comes bursting out at once! She’ll thrive with an active family who appreciates her playful spirit, continues reinforcing her training, and gives her plenty of opportunities to run, play, and explore. She absolutely adores other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine sibling. She’s also done reasonably well with cats, though she may occasionally give chase.

What makes Nyah so special is how wholeheartedly she embraces everything. She’s affectionate, funny, endlessly entertaining, and genuinely happy just to be part of the action. If your family could use a little more sunshine, a lot more laughter, and a four-legged best friend who’s ready to love you with everything she’s got, Nyah might just be your girl.

Nyah is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and heartworm-negative. Her adoption donation is $600.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
