Oogie Boogie

Oogie Boogie is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. We do offer foster-to-adopt trials for approved adopters.

Oogie Boogie may have a spooky name, but he’s the sweetest little soul!

This adorable pittie mix puppy was surrendered simply because his people no longer wanted him. But Oogie Boogie has so much love to give and he’s ready for a family who wants him forever.

He’s dog and kid-friendly, affectionate, and pretty calm for a puppy. He’s a quiet little guy, he isn’t mouthy, and he hasn’t shown any food aggression. Oogie is working on hard on puppy basics including house-training, leash skills, and basic manners. He’s a smart, curious boy who loves following you around and watching everything you do—especially mopping. He’s fairly certain the mop is a toy and would like to join the fun!

We suspect he’ll grow into more of a low-riding, short pittie at around 45 pounds, but we already know he’s an all-around sweetheart. Nothing scary here—just a good boy looking for a love that lasts!

Oogie Boogie is fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. He tested negative for heart worm. His adoption donation is $600.

Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
