Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! We do not recommend Patchy for households with children.
Currently Living at: SHELTER. Patchy needs a foster or forever home to come to the DC area!

Special adoption considerations: Because Patchy is shy, she MUST go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Patchy is also not a good fit for homes with children.

PATCHY is Looking For: Hi. I am Patchy. I have had a rough start in life and was rescued from a hoarding situation where my friends and I weren't well cared for. But I hear I am a Lucky Dog now. It gives me hope! I am looking for a loving forever family who has TLC in store for me. Because of my rough start in life I am a little scared so I look forward to having doggie friends nearby to help show me the ropes. What the Shelter Staff Says About Me: Patchy is still learning to walk on a leash. She is very nervous and doesn't like to be touched. She sat under the shelf in the play yard the whole time she was outside.

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update once Patchy has spent time in foster.
