Gets Along With: Dogs her size or larger! We don't recommend Sammy for a home with smaller dogs due to her prey drive. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster homeSammy is Looking For: Hi! Me and my brother Zebb have enjoyed growing up together but now we're ready to split up and get our own homes. I'm looking for one where I get to go on lots of adventures with my new humans - long sniffy walks, romps in parks, world exploration! I want to make pup pals along the way! And I'd like to go to dog school too, so I can show how super smart I am.But most of all I want to always be safe and loved, to know where I belong. I have so much love and loyalty to give. What do you say? Does that sound like a fair trade to you?What My Foster Says About Me: Sammy is such a sweet girl! She loves her humans and LOVES to play. She can take a little time to warm up to humans but once she does, she loves cuddles. Sammy has a strong prey drive and loves to chase - squirrels are her favorite. She is also getting used to city noises and other new things!
