Tubby

Tubby was surrendered by a breeder, so he's not accustomed to being a family dog. For that reason we're looking for an adult home, or at least older, respectful kids. He is older and just needs a calm, predictable environment.

He would be great for senior citizens too. Another dog would also help him feel more comfortable. He is affectionate but just needs time to get to know you. He is cautious to start.

Age: 8 years

Weight: 23 lbs

Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, older respectful kids

Training: trained to pee pads, crate-trained, needs basic training

Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
