If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who’s always up for fun and affection, Onyx is ready to join you on life’s next adventure!

Oliver’s story began when he and his 10 siblings were found in a box by a mailbox at only 10 days old. Most of his littermates found homes right away, but somehow Oliver was overlooked — and he’s been patiently waiting ever since for the family that’s meant to be his.

Oliver has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and is heartworm negative.

Adoption Fee: $250

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s full of life and affection, Oliver is ready to fill your home with joy — he’s waited long enough for his happily ever after!

Liana is the leader of her litter and has just the right mix of sugar and spice. She’s a people pleaser who loves ear scratches and attention, and while she adores people, she’s not shy about keeping her unruly brothers in line. She’s your perfect southern gal—sweet, sassy, and full of heart.

Liana is spayed, vaccinated for her age, dewormed, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250. To apply to adopt, visit roseacresrescue.org.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle giant who will fill your days with love (and a little hound song), Talley might be your perfect match!

This good boy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for almost any home.

John Boy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and dewormed.

Adoption Fee: $250

If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion with a big heart and a country soul, John Boy is ready to be your best friend!

This amazing girl was rescued from a hoarding situation involving 17 dogs and puppies. Many have since found their forever homes, but a few, including some believed to be Hannah’s daughters, are still waiting for their happily-ever-after. We think Hannah was the matriarch of the group, and her nurturing nature truly shines through.

Since joining the rescue, Hannah has completed her heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative! She’s also learning new skills every day — including leash walking, crate training, and she’s completely housebroken!

Hannah has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and dewormed, and she’s ready to find a loving home to call her own.

Adoption Fee: $250

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart full of love, Hannah would love to meet you!

PET DESCRIPTION: Lime Chiffon is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix, about five-months-old as of late Oct, should be in the 40-50 lb range when fully grown. She takes a bit to feel comfortable with you but once comfortable is very sweet and loves getting attention. Loves to cuddle and give kisses and will benefit by having another dog as a buddy.
One of 25 dogs we took in that were living completely INSIDE of a very small storage type building with their owner.
For many of the younger dogs it appeared they may have never been outside. While they were in horribly filthy condition coming in to us we can say they are all incredibly sweet. Yes many were very shy at first but they craved attention and are blossoming getting out to play in our play yard. They are rapidly adjusting and will be wonderful dogs in most any dog loving family.

PET DESCRIPTION: Onyx is a female, what we have dubbed, "Rotten Doodle!" Mom is a Rottweiler (and a very nice dog) and given the coat, going to guess Dad is a Poodle of some type. Onyx is 8 1/2 months old as of mid-Oct & about 50 lbs. Like most all Doodles, will need very regular grooming to keep her healthy and looking good. She was adopted from us but a change in her family's life saw her back with us. She is housetrained, good with male & female dogs, good with children. She is very playful and loves to play chase with other dogs. Not crazy but not a couch potato either so good exercise and mental workouts will be best for her. And she does have a long coat that will need regular grooming so check on that with a groomer you might choose so you will understand those costs.

This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.
