Dogs for Adoption in Wadley, AL: 20 Dogs Looking for a Home

BREAKING NEWS: BUDDY IS 32 POUNDS OF PURE ENTERTAINMENT AND HE'S CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A PERSONAL TOY THROWER!

Hello, humans. Buddy here. Your future best friend, full-time toy enthusiast, and part-time professional goofball. Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm about 10–12 months old and weigh a PERFECT 32 pounds. Not too big. Not too small. Just the right size to steal your heart without taking up the entire couch. You're welcome.

My hobbies include:

Playing with toys like it's my full-time job.

Making dog friends (I just need a proper introduction first because I'm a little shy at first meetings).

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: FRANNIE IS LOOKING FOR A HOME, AND YOUR LIFE IS ABOUT TO BECOME SIGNIFICANTLY CUTER AND SLIGHTLY LESS ORGANIZED!
Excuse me, human. Yes, YOU! Put down the phone for a moment because I have an important announcement.
My name is Frannie. I'm a 5-month-old, 20.6-pound professional heart-stealer, amateur troublemaker, and future CEO of Whatever Happens in My Forever Home.
IMPORTANT COLOR DISCLAIMER: My pictures might be a little deceiving! I'm actually more GRAY-colored in person. Apparently, I'm so fabulous that even my photos can't get my coloring right. You'll just have to come meet me to see my true beauty for yourself!
My qualifications include:
Being ridiculously adorable.
Having the potential to turn an ordinary Tuesday into a full-blown puppy comedy special.
Making you wonder how you ever lived without a little furry shadow following you around.
I'm still a puppy, so I'm looking for a family ready for all the fun, learning, playtime, and occasional "WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR MOUTH?!" moments that come with raising one of us.
But here's where things get REALLY exciting!
My adoption fee is SPONSORED and reduced to just $85!
That includes my distemper/parvo vaccine, rabies vaccine, vet exam, fecal test for parasites, general dewormer, spay, and microchip before I head home.
For just $85, you could bring home your very own Frannie.

ATTENTION, EVERYONE! FRITZ HAS ENTERED THE CHAT, AND YOUR PEACEFUL HOUSEHOLD IS ABOUT TO GET A LOT MORE INTERESTING!
Hello, humans. I'm Fritz, a 5-month-old, 20.6-pound puppy with absolutely NO BUSINESS being this adorable and absolutely NO INTENTION of acting like a boring adult anytime soon.
I am currently accepting applications for a forever home, preferably one with a human who understands that puppies require toys, attention, snacks, and a suspicious amount of nonsense on a daily basis.
Am I cute? Obviously.
Am I innocent? That's between me and my lawyer.
Will I make you laugh? Almost certainly.
I'm still a puppy, which means I'm basically a furry teenager with questionable decision-making skills and a bright future in household entertainment.
AND NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS!
My adoption fee is SPONSORED and reduced to just $85!
That includes my distemper/parvo vaccine, rabies vaccine, vet exam, fecal test for parasites, general dewormer, neuter, and microchip before I go home with you.
So basically, you get a lifetime supply of puppy shenanigans for $85, and I'll even come with my important paperwork handled!

Gambit is a 2.5 year old Lab/Pit mix who is a true pro at giving the best adoring looks! It’s just part of his overall wonderful and friendly nature. Sadly, this sweet boy is back at the shelter for the second time … his first stay was back when he was just a tiny puppy. Gambit was super cute as a puppy, and now he has grown into a good-looking boy who is somehow both handsome AND irresistibly cute! Add in his incredibly sweet personality, and you have a pup who is hard to resist. When Gambit came back to the shelter, it was found that he is heartworm positive … but don't worry, the shelter will be taking care of his heartworm treatment. What Gambit needs most is a family who will see beyond his temporary medical condition and recognize the incredible companion waiting underneath. He has so much love to give and is ready to devote his whole heart to someone special. If you're looking for a loyal best friend and a dog who will look at you like you're the most important person in the world, Gambit is your perfect match. So come meet this lovable boy today, and see if those adoring eyes steal your heart!

Balto is a six year old male Shepherd mix, and a stunning boy who turns heads wherever he goes! Balto’s gorgeous, fluffy coat practically glows, and it’s so comforting to pet his super-soft fur. This sweet well-mannered boy rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash, especially enjoying leisurely walks and taking life at a comfortable pace. Most of all, he loves spending time with his people and is happiest simply being by your side. While Balto adores people, he is not good with cats. He can also be somewhat dog-selective, where he likes some dogs but not others. Hence a Meet and Greet would be needed if there are other dogs in the home. Balto has been adopted twice and dearly loved as a “great dog”, but had to be returned through no fault of his own: in one case due to a landlord’s weight limit for dogs, and in another case due to a health issue that arose in the family. Balto has already had two families love him. What he needs now is the family who can make sure the third time truly is the charm - the ones who will open their heart and never let Balto wonder again when his forever home is coming. Come meet this very special boy soon!
