When Ryder first joined OURS, he discovered the wonderful world of unlimited kibble and, well, let's just say he got a little carried away! He gobbled up so much food that his belly ballooned, sending us straight to the emergency vet in a panic. As it turns out, Ryder simply has some wonky ribs that make his tummy look a little unusual when it's full. Everything works just as it should, and all that kibble digested without a hitch! Crisis averted, and Ryder earned himself a pretty funny story!
But Ryder's journey hasn't been all laughs. He came to us with his sister, his very best friend and partner in crime. Sadly, she lost her battle with complications from distemper, leaving Ryder to figure out the world without her. And while our hearts broke for this sweet boy, Ryder showed us just how resilient a little dog can be.

There are some dogs who walk into your life and immediately make you smile, and Harley is absolutely one of them. This short, stout, snorty little English Bulldog mix is three years old and quite possibly one of the most adorable bulldogs we’ve ever met.

Harley was found on an incredibly hot day seeking shade on someone’s porch. Thankfully, an animal advocate took her in, kept her safe and did everything possible to locate her family — but no one ever came forward. And considering someone made the decision to butcher this beautiful girl’s ears, we’re perfectly okay with Harley closing the door on that chapter of her life. Because despite whatever came before us, Harley is absolutely full of all the good stuff.

Right now, some of Jessie’s extra energy and frustration are amplified because she is recovering from her spay and hasn’t been able to run, wrestle, and play the way she normally would. When she gets excited, she can be vocal and occasionally mouthy in that silly puppy way, so she’ll need someone willing to patiently teach her appropriate ways to channel her enthusiasm. She’s also learning that shoes, hats, and other tempting human belongings aren’t actually dog toys!
Jessie isn’t looking for a quiet, sedentary life. She wants activities, adventures, zoomies, toys, training, and preferably a dog friend who thinks wrestling is just as much fun as she does. Because she needs room to burn off energy and can be vocal when excited, apartment living probably isn’t the best fit.
With an active family, consistent boundaries, plenty of appropriate exercise, and some confidence-building along the way, we think Jessie is going to absolutely blossom. Meet Inky
Some dogs run straight into your arms. Others make you earn your way into their heart—and somehow, that makes every little piece of their trust feel like a gift. Inky is one of those dogs.
Inky came to us with her Dachshund-mix family after living in a home where the dogs were used for breeding. She appears to be a little older than the others, and it’s entirely possible she may even be their mama. We may never know exactly what role Inky played in their previous life, but we do know that she arrived as the shyest of the bunch.

This beautiful girl prefers to observe things from the perimeter while she decides whether everything is safe. But look closely and you’ll realize something important: Inky wants connection. She watches you with the most soulful eyes, and when your eyes meet, you can almost see her working up the courage.
Then, slowly, she makes her way over.
And before you know it, this cautious little girl is crawling into your lap.
The first time we saw Inky’s tail wag was pure magic. It may seem like such a small thing, but in rescue, sometimes a tail wag tells an entire story. It told us that somewhere underneath all that uncertainty was a little dog beginning to believe that maybe she was safe. Maybe these humans were good. And maybe being loved could actually feel pretty wonderful.

Meet Crypto
Crypto may take a little time to decide you’re his person—but once he feels safe, you’ll get to see the sweet, gentle boy hiding behind that shy exterior.
This handsome guy is naturally a little reserved when meeting new people and settling into new surroundings. He isn’t the type to charge into a room demanding attention. Crypto likes to observe, figure things out, and build trust at his own pace. Give him that little bit of patience, and you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful companion who just needed someone to give him the chance to feel secure.

Crypto has an easygoing, non-dominant personality and does well with other dogs. He’ll occasionally play with toys, but he isn’t possessive over them or his food. He’s crate trained and may serenade you with a few whines and his signature little “whistle” when he has something to say.
Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, Crypto may do some marking at first, so a belly band is a great tool during that initial transition. Once he understands the routine and realizes this is his home, we expect that behavior to settle as he becomes comfortable.

Born in March 2026, this adorable Heeler girl is bursting with personality and has an infectious enthusiasm for just about everything. She’s curious, clever, confident, and always ready to join in whatever fun might be happening. Whether she’s playing with her doggie friends, investigating the yard, or having an entire conversation with her humans, Norma Jean approaches life with her whole heart.

And yes—we said conversation. This girl has opinions, and she isn’t afraid to share them! Norma Jean loves chatting with her people and has even been known to continue her little conversations in her sleep. Apparently, there simply aren’t enough waking hours in the day to say everything she has to say.
Norma Jean absolutely loves other dogs and is happiest when she has a buddy who shares her enthusiasm for a good romp. Running, wrestling, chasing and playing are all high on her list of favorite things. We think a fun-loving canine companion would be a wonderful match for her and give her someone to share all of her puppy adventures with.
But if you really want to see Norma Jean living her best life, turn on the water hose. This girl transforms into her own one-dog water park—chasing the spray, splashing around, and attempting to catch every drop she possibly can. Meet Venus! Venus is an approximately 2-year-old female shepherd mix weighing in at 33lbs! Venus is on the smaller side but don’t let that fool you. She was an Olympic jumping horse in a previous life and never skips leg day!
“Venus” (the Roman Goddess of Love & Beauty) was found the day before Valentine’s Day, 2026, wandering onto a school campus. Venus’s rescuer tried to reunite her with her owners with no success. After seeing how sweet and loving she was, her rescuer decided to save her life by stepping up to foster.

Venus would do best in a moderately active home, preferably with another doggy friend, and absolutely needs a 5ft-6ft tall secure yard. She is both large and small dog friendly but would do best with another medium/large size dog who can keep up with her track star speed and WWE wrestling moves. Venus can be cat tested upon request

Rango Mango and his 2 siblings were born to Momma Zoey a 10 lb., Yorkie Terrier/Poodle mix on July 20, 2026. We believe his Dad was a Shih Tzu with the being the clue. Mango is a ball of fluff and has a sweet and playful personality. All 3 puppies are sweet, playful, happy and healthy. Zoey was surrendered to the rescue very pregnant. She did have to have an emergency c-section to delivery her puppies. She is very sweet, playful and a very kind soul. These sweet fluffy puppies are looking for their forever families. 16. Titan
Titan and his 3 brothers were born to Momma Chloe a 14 lb., Norfork Terrier mix on July 9, 2026. Titian is the most like momma scruffy looking, he also is a sturdy body type, very sweet. All 4 boys are sweet, playful, happy and healthy. Chloe was surrendered to the rescue very pregnant. She is very sweet, well behaved and a kind soul. These sweet boys are looking for their forever families. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well-rounded and well-behaved puppy/dog.
The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed).

Diamond were born to Momma Jewel on May 16, 2026. Momma Jewel looks like a LH Chihuahua. Looks like Dad was likely a Min-pin. She is super social with everyone she meets, loves to play with toys and other dogs, she really enjoys playing with the foster kitten in her foster home also. This adorable little girl is looking for her forever family. Because of her small size no larger breed dogs or small children please. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well-rounded and well-behaved puppy/dog.

Moana is a 3-year-old, 10 lb. sweet girl. She came to us from a hoarding situation where she and many other dogs were living in a bad environment. She was pregnant when we took her in and delivered a few days after she came to us. This sweet girl likes squeaky toys and enjoys playing with the other small dogs. Jordash and her 6 siblings were born on 3/11/26 to, Momma Moana a Dachshund/Caviler King Charles mix. She came from a hoarding situation and was very pregnant. By the size and look of the puppies we do believe there is likely at lest 2 dad's; A Mini Schnauzer and a Chihuahua. The puppies are all doing well and are healthy happy puppies.
