Dino is a mature gentleman with lovely manners and the potential to be a fabulous lifelong companion. He deserves a home where he can finally enjoy the love, comfort, and stability he has been waiting for.

Teaching her tricks will build her confidence and that helps her mature also (we are working on that now and it's very good for her).

Klara is a snuggly and sweet girl and we know that the right family is out there for her.

Hunter is currently located in boarding, but we would love to find him a local foster home where he can decompress, learn, and show everyone just how special he is.

If you're interested in fostering or adopting Hunter, please reach out. He deserves a second chance at the happy life he's been waiting for.

Harrison does not need your sympathy. He needs your company, a good throw of his favorite toy, and a warm spot to cuddle when the fetch session is over.He is playful, loving, hypoallergenic, and deeply social with people. Take him out into the world, and he greets it like a dog who knows exactly how good life is. He has earned that perspective.Harrison does have a heart murmur and is managed comfortably on cardiac medication, which Get A Life Pet Rescue will cover for life. He also needs his bladder expressed every six hours during waking hours, a gentle, simple technique involving light pressure on each side of the bladder to release urine. Because Harrison does not drink water through the night, this is not needed after he settles in for the evening, making nighttime completely manageable for any household. We will make sure every adopter and their network is fully trained and confident in this before Harrison goes to his devoted home. And that word, network, is the heart of what Harrison needs most. His ideal adopter is someone who loves him fiercely and also comes prepared with a circle of trusted, trained people around them. Dog sitters, neighbors, family members, close friends, anyone who can step in on a long day away from home or during travel to provide his care on schedule. This does not need to be complicated or large. It simply needs to exist. Get A Life Pet Rescue will provide full hands-on training for everyone in that circle, and we will do our best to serve as a backup sitter ourselves when we are available. In return for that village, Harrison will give every single person in it something they did not expect. He will show up to every interaction with his whole heart, fetch game ready, cuddle mode fully operational, and that unmistakable Yorkie spark that reminds you that the size of a life has nothing to do with the size of the body living it.Harrison is not a dog who needs to be saved. He has already saved himself. He is simply waiting for the right people to recognize what an extraordinary privilege it is to be chosen by him.Get A Life Pet Rescue will cover Harrison's cardiac medication and basic veterinary care at our vet in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for life. I can tell, Dolly. You're still glowin', you're still crowin', you're still goin' strong. And she is. Thanks to her foster parents' care and compassion. Dolly is gaining ground, gaining weight, and gaining the kind of trust in people that took patience and love to earn. She is becoming more interactive, more affectionate, and more herself with every passing week in her foster home. When she sees her foster parents reaching for her treats, this girl does not just sit politely. She dances. She pushes gently on your leg with all five pounds of her enthusiasm, letting you know in no uncertain terms that she is here, she is happy, and she would very much like that snack now.Dolly is a Chinese Crested Powder Puff, one of the most gloriously unique and tenderhearted breeds you will ever have the privilege of knowing. Soft, cloud-like fur like the popular Maltese breed we tagged her with for her to be more visible in searches. She deeply bonds to her foodie people. Dolly is the kind of dog who fills a room simply by being in it. She is working her way to a healthy seven pounds, and once she reaches that milestone, she will be ready for her spay, her dental care, and the forever home that has been waiting for her all along. So find her an empty lap, fellas. Dolly'll never go away again. We are looking for someone with a quiet, loving home who understands that this little girl has already been through enough, and who is ready to give her all the warmth, gentleness, and treat-fueled dance parties she deserves for the rest of her days.Dolly did not just survive her story. She is dancing her way through it. Now it is time for her to find the lap where she finally, truly stays. This dog's adoption fee is $450 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). Anna enjoys being surrounded by other dogs and her humans. She was abandoned and found as a stray, so being alone is scary for her! She’s affectionate, house trained, walks well on a leash and overall an easy keeper for the right person.
Anna is currently being fostered in Jupiter Florida. She’s ready to find her Forever home!

Lyssa is currently located at our vet in West Palm Beach and is in need of a foster — or even better, an adopter who can give her the stable, loving home she deserves.

But do not let that fool you into thinking she is all nap and no adventure. When her leash comes out, so does her pep, and she walks with the cheerful, purposeful energy of a dog who genuinely enjoys her outings and wants you to enjoy them too. She is the perfect companion for someone who loves a good walk and a little social time.Lula came to us with slightly elevated kidney levels, something we caught early and are already getting ahead of. She does not require a prescription diet, but we have proactively placed her on a thoughtful, natural food regimen with targeted supplements to keep her feeling her absolute best for years to come. We are looking for an adopter who will lovingly continue this routine, because Lula deserves someone who takes her whole health seriously, and she will give back every bit of that care in snuggles and devotion. She does beautifully with calm, gentle dog companions and genuinely thrives when her person is home often. Lula is not looking for a revolving door, she is looking for her person, her place, and her forever soft spot on the sofa. If you are someone who has slowed down just enough to truly appreciate a sweet, soulful little dog who will love you with everything she has, Lula has been waiting for exactly you. This dog's adoption fee is $350 to go toward their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed).
