Dogs for Adoption in Lighthouse Point, FL: 20 Dogs Looking for a Home

Ally and Gator were rescued together from a crate left outside. They were able to be brought to safety and a temporary foster has stepped up to help them transition and get the medical care they need to find their forever home. Please fill out an application for Gator. He is a sweet and playful puppy that will thrive in an active family home.

The cutest part of him is not just the brindle coat, but his little panda face markings on his nose.

Ally and her brother Gator had been rescued from outdoor crates left outside to suffer alone. As luck would have it, we were able to make room for them.

Ally is a sweet and playful pup that would be happy to grow up in a family home.

Tilly is just the cutest little girl! She was found running around the streets in Miami. We were able to bring her to safety. She is in a foster home and thriving. Because of the matted mess of her hair, she did need to be groomed and shaved, but her hair will grow out quickly and she will be a showstopper before we know it!

Please fill out an application today as she will have lots of apps in quickly.

Tundra came into the rescue after being abandoned out in the rural area of Miami Dade County, FL. She is a very sweet and loving pup after she warms up to you, usually within minutes of meeting you. She is housebroken and listens to every word you say. She is in foster care but arrangements will be made to meet her.

Get your application in soon!

Rex & Roy — Twice the Love, One Very Special Bond ❤️

Some dogs find their person.

Rex and Roy found each other.

These two sweet boys are a truly bonded pair, and after six months in our care, we can say with confidence that they are every bit as special as they look in their photos.

Rex

, a 4-year-old Pit mix, and

Roy

, an 8-year-old Husky mix, are affectionate, lovable companions who share an incredible friendship. They are happiest together, whether they’re relaxing side by side, enjoying attention, or simply keeping each other company.

Melanie Rose was found abandoned at a church in Pembroke Pines, FL.

I am 8 years old, which means I have a lot of love stored up and I am very ready to give all of it to you. I love walks - genuinely, enthusiastically, every single time. I love stuffed animals and I take very good care of them. I love cuddles more than almost anything in the world and I am exceptionally good at them. I am told I am the biggest cuddle bug anyone here has ever met and I accept that title with full sincerity.

How do you find a 5-month-old puppy wandering around with a rope tied around his neck? Sadly, someone did.

Thankfully, they stopped, picked him up, and brought her to us at Everglades Angels Dog Rescue.

Meet Morgan. She is just a baby with her whole life ahead of her. Instead of being safe, loved, and cared for, she was left to fend for herself. We may never know her story, but we do know how her next chapter will go.

Morgan is now safe.

Morgan is a wonderful and playful pup that has a tail wag for everyone and kisses galore!
