Dexter is a super friendly, happy-go-lucky pup with a wonderfully well-rounded personality! He’s social, confident, and independent, but he still likes to keep tabs on where his people are. He’s never met a stranger and greets new friends with a wagging tail!

Dexter enjoys tagging along with his foster mom on car rides and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. He loves playing with his furry friends, tackling piles of leaves, and settling down with a good bone to chew.

Introducing Bugsy, an adorable 27 pound, 6-month-old Shepherd mix with the most stunning ice-blue eyes you've ever seen!

Bugsy is an incredibly sweet, friendly, and playful boy who loves making new furry friends! He enjoys playing with other dogs and absolutely LOVES his toys. He's also great at entertaining himself, whether it's tossing around his favorite toy or happily chewing on a good stick!

Bugsy's a smart cookie? He knows "sit", and his love for treats makes him eager to learn new things!

Meet April, a sweet and resilient little lady looking for a fresh start.April recently lost the person she loved most. When her owner passed away, a plan was made for her future, but unfortunately that arrangement fell through, leaving April back at the shelter through no fault of her own.We believe April was born around 2019 and is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier/Bobtail mix with a big personality packed into a small body. She is currently carrying a few extra pounds, but don't let that fool you—this girl enjoys getting out for long walks and loves any opportunity to splash around in the water.

Bronco is a smart, strong-willed boy with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! He’s potty trained with frequent outings and absolutely loves being around people. He’s a wonderful mix of playful and cuddly—he’ll happily snuggle up with you, but he’s always ready for some fun too!

One of Bronco’s funniest habits? The second you put all his toys back in the toy box, he’ll immediately pull them ALL back out again. Apparently, Bronco believes toys belong on the floor!

My life hasn’t always been filled with love, warm beds, and kind hands.

You see, my four siblings and I spent the beginning of our lives living on the streets, just trying to survive. We didn’t know what it felt like to be safe or loved. Eventually, animal control picked us up, and we found ourselves in a shelter. Thankfully, someone saw that we deserved a second chance, and my siblings and I were rescued!

Now I’m learning what it means to be a loved little girl, but I still have a long way to go.

Hi, everyone! My name is Reece, and I’m the new girl here at the rescue! ❤️

When I first arrived at the shelter, I was a very scared girl, and I’m still a little nervous in my foster home. But I’m quickly learning that I’m safe and that there are people who want nothing more than to love me.

Deep down, I really want to be loved. I just need a little extra time to feel comfortable and learn to trust. I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who will give me the time and space I need to blossom into the confident, happy girl I know I can be.

Cat is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl who likes to take life at her own pace. She’s very low-maintenance and doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot to relax, some loving pets, and plenty of snuggles.

Cat can be a little shy at first. She came to us from a cruelty case about a year ago, and while she has come such a long way, she still takes a little time to feel comfortable and trust new people. She has enjoyed going on short, slow strolls and spending time with volunteers, and we’ve watched her confidence grow along the way.

Meet Boomer! Boomer is a 22 pound, 5 month old Lab mix. Boomer started off small from an under-developed esophagus but he is doing well now. He eats from a Kong Wobbler. He is working on manners and crate training. Boomer LOVES playing with sticks, jumping in the creek and playing with his best friends. He and Max are besties. They enjoy flopping around and wrestling and stealing beans from the garden and the fruit from underneath the trees.

Boomer's ideal home would be one with someone who is active and committed to his continued socialization and training. A fenced in yard is a plus.

Boone is the sweetest, most loving boy who is still waiting for someone to choose him. Despite being housebroken, crate trained, great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and having an amazing personality, Boone hasn’t received a single bit of adoption interest. He tries so hard to be the perfect boy, and we just can’t understand why he keeps getting overlooked.

Meet Emmett! Emmett is a handsome male Dobie mix who is estimated to be around 2 years old. This sweet boy was found lost in Fannin County, and sadly, no one came forward to claim him. When he arrived, he was covered in ticks and fleas, showing that he had likely been on his own for quite some time.Despite everything he has been through, Emmett has remained a happy, playful, and loving boy. He has a wonderful spirit and is ready to put his past behind him and start a brand-new chapter with a family of his own.With his good looks, playful personality, and sweet nature, Emmett would make the perfect addition to a loving home.

When he arrived, he was nearly unrecognizable—bald, pink, and terrified of the world around him.Over the last three months, Britt has slowly begun to heal. His fur is growing back, his body is recovering, and most importantly, he's learning that people can be kind.Britt finds comfort in other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance. He recently discovered toys and watching him play for the first time was enough to bring tears to our eyes.
