If that happens, he becomes very protective. He's been used to being the one and only and sharing his owner is not part of his DNA at this time. Will sleep in a crate but preference is to sleep with his owner. Loves being outdoors and playing with his tennis ball. He has started going to the door when he wants out. Dezi is starting to use pee pads like our other dogs. Has a good appetite....not much of a kibble eater. Has a little trouble navigating steps .....eyesight a little dim...but goes down and up on his own with coaxing or when following other dogs. Loves belly rubs. Up to date on all shots, neutered and microchipped. Would make someone a sweet companion.Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet senior? Adoption fee: $100

When it comes to being potty trained, I use puppy pads and sometimes will let you know i need to go outside (if you have the good treats!). I do love to go for walks and do well on the leash, though i am slow because I love to sniff everything! Apartment living would be fine because I dont bark. One last thing, a girl can never have too many outfits!! I am working on building up my wardrobe!

Adopting a dog in Campbell County
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the dog, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your dog in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior dogs are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate dog, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Puppies go quickly, so if you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon. Ask how big they're expected to grow, and plan for plenty of house-training and training in the first few months.
