5. Bizkit
From the moment Bizkit stepped foot on the ranch, it was like he lived here his entire life… Goofy goofy goober Curious and confident BIG (and I mean big) puppy with lots of energy; yet still has a good off switch Doesn’t know a stranger! Loves kids, women, men…. Just everyone! Even the Vet! Loves to play with his foster siblings (even if Auntie Freya yells at him he just takes the correction and moves on to other things)He thinks cats are a little creepy Loves his pony pals tho! And he doesn’t harass them just nose boops and sniffs Car rides? Yes please! Love them Water?? Best thing ever!! Bizkit might be part mermaid Hiking and long walks are a favorite activity of his.
Read more about Bizkit
He can happily go for miles. He keeps up with the big dogs and still has enough sense to check in with his humans. Bed time snuggles are a must… thinks he’s a lap dog Athletic?? once he grows into his extra long legs and big floppy body…. But he tries his best. Knows basic obedience and how to shake! Recall it great and working on staying in a sit for more than two seconds Definitely still a puppy however; we are working on boundaries and staying out of personal space. He is mouthy at times but in a gentle manner. Isn’t overly barky. He barks when playing with his foster brother but isn’t over the top noisy all the time. Can settle quickly in the crate at bedtime and is working on crating during short daytime periods. Overall Bizkit will be a fantastic pet. I don’t necessarily think he is suitable for working but he is already an expert in being a good boy and will make an active family very happy. He does need room to get that energy out tho! As long as you are paying attention to him potty training is going well and the accidents he has had have been at the back door so he 100% understands the assignment just needs time to be able to hold it All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription. This tiny pup has a LOT of love to give and will follow you around everywhere like a little duckling. Once you sit down, you better believe she’ll be climbing directly into your lap for cuddles! There’s nothing Baby Boo loves more than cuddling, getting belly rubs, and just being around her people. Baby Boo’s affection doesn’t stop at humans though! She also adores other dogs and will follow them anywhere they go too so she isn’t missing out on any fun! Potty training and crate training are still a work in progress, but she’s already starting to run to the door when she needs to go out! Baby Boo is definitely food motivated and loves her toys.

Meet Batwing! The most PERFECT puppy you’ll ever find.Batwing is only two months old and yet is showing SO much amazing potential that his foster is honestly BLOWN AWAY. 100% crate trained. Will kennel on command and is silent as a mouse in it, even if fun stuff is happening outside. He has had no accidents in the kennel and sleeps in it overnight without a problem. Rides in a crate in the car quietly with no messes or carsickness issues. Definitely a velcro puppy. Wherever his foster goes, he goes. On the off chance he isn’t attached to your hip, he will quickly come when called and even automatically sits for a treat.

Perfect puppy level recall already! Extremely treat motivated and food motivated. Good toy drive and medium energy level. Great off switch and seems like a great potential starter mal. Great with other dogs and LOVES all people. He doesn’t know a stranger! NO FEAR! Confident boy who is afraid of nothing! He has seen horses, cows, trucks, lawn mowers, people, other dogs, and gone up and down stairs with no hesitation. Great with grooming (baths, nails, teeth, ears, etc) and sits very well. Potty training and leash walking are a work in progress, but he doesn’t pull much already and doesn’t have accidents if you monitor him closely! Loves to sniff and find things (treats or otherwise) in the environment. Has great potential as a scent work dog!A quote from the foster:“He is one of the easiest puppies I have ever had. If adopting two was possible, I’d keep him and his brother both!”All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription. 29. Elements Litter
Xenon and his brothers were found dumped on the side of a country road like trash. A Good Samaritan stumbled across them, took them in, got them into the vet for a check up and initial vaccines, and they are now safe with MAD. Xenon is the scrappy one of the bunch. He likes to instigate his brothers, be involved in whatever it is they're doing that catches his interest. He may be the smallest, but he makes up for it with the fire in his soul. He is food motivated and toy motived, loves to explore, and bounce around as the fierce little velociraptor that he is. Stay tuned for updates as we learn more about him! All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription.

Adopting a puppy in Lansing
Puppies usually go to their new homes from about eight weeks old, once they're weaned and have had their first vaccinations. Most rescues spay or neuter them before adoption, or include it in the fee.
Ask the rescue how big the puppy is expected to grow and which breeds they think are in the mix, so you can plan for the dog they'll become.
Puppies need a lot of your time: house-training, a few minutes of training every day, several small meals, and someone home often enough to let them out. A puppy class is a good way to start.
