Say hello to Dior, an almost 3-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality packed into 23 pounds of brindle perfection! This silly little guy loves being wherever his people are, following you from room to room, soaking up affection, and making sure you always know what he’s thinking with his signature Frenchie grumbles. He’s a total sweetheart who loves to be held and included in all the daily activities.He does have a preference for having his people around. He isn't a fan of being crated when everyone is home and would much rather be out enjoying their company. He may whine briefly in his crate when he's ready to be done or hears people moving around, but he settles down quickly.

Meet Agatha Christie, the adorable pocket pittie with a big personality and an even bigger love for cuddles! At almost 8 months old and 22 pounds, this sweet gray-and-white girl is short, stocky, and full of puppy charm. Her two favorite things are playing with her people and soaking up affection. If there's a lap available, Aggie is happy to claim it!Agatha loves toys, playing with other dogs, and getting attention from just about everyone. She's been wonderful with her foster family's 3- and 7-year-old granddaughters, enjoying cuddles and games of tug-of-war. She also gets along well with other dogs, although her wrestling style can be pretty enthusiastic! A canine companion who enjoys a good play session would be a bonus.

Meet Delilah, a gentle, easygoing girl whose idea of a perfect day involves belly rubs, cozy couch time, and being surrounded by people who love her! This 4-year-old German Shepherd mix weighs 70 pounds and has a heart as big as her love for snuggling. Delilah is a true couch potato who would much rather relax with her favorite humans than go on a long hike or run a marathon. She enjoys leisurely walks, especially when there is plenty of time to sniff and explore and is happy with a couple of short walks each day.Delilah is wonderful with children of all ages and is calm, patient, and gentle when little ones come by to pet her.

This sweet girl's name is Shadow-- she is one big wiggle butt love bug!! She listens great and even off lead, so eager to please. She is house broken. She is a year old and was picked up and running stray for a couple weeks. no owner found. She is great with other dogs and kids and has paid no mind to cats.
If you are looking for unconditional love then Shadow is the dog for you, all she wants is a loving person by her side. She loves to run and play, obeys commands, and is content just lying by your side. She is 3 years old, spayed and completely vetted, 40 pounds.

This is Roscoe! Roscoe is a very sweet boy, who is about 3 years old and about 57 lbs. Roscoe is great with other dogs and kids. This is a little of his background in Ohio: "A neighbor reached out to me for help with him and knew of his owner passing. He was alone in the house for 2 weeks before anyone realized the man had passed- his name is Roscoe he loves kids and other dogs, the owner of the day care said he is a jewel of a dog. Listens well, house broke and so fun to be around.

Meet Rhea, a 2.5-year-old, 50-pound Pit Bull Terrier/Lab mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection! This sweet girl loves going for walks, playing fetch with her favorite tennis ball, and spending quality time with her people. She is eager to learn, enjoys training sessions, and is highly motivated by treats and attention. Once she gets to know you, Rhea's affectionate side shines, especially when ear scratches are involved!Rhea is house-trained and crate-trained, and she views her crate as her safe space. She settles quickly when left alone, sleeps comfortably in her crate, and is not prone to excessive barking or separation anxiety.

Blair is a 6yr old female hound. We were told she is a purebred bluetick. She has lived with the same family since she was a puppy, but at no fault of her own, she is coming into rescue. Does well with all adults and children! Ignores cats. She is a very sweet dog. Enjoys being outside, but also loves cuddling and napping. She has never hunted. She has some of the longest ears we have ever seen! So velvety soft, how can you resist!!! She is very calm for being a hound. You can tell her "I love youuuuuuuuuuuu" and she will respond with a low, pitched howl back telling you she loves you too, so adorable!! Her foster mom has nothing but good to say about her!!!! She was a star when she visited resident's at the local nursing home for Halloween dressed as a big spider!

Rudy arrived to MN... ON A PLANE!! He was such a good boy on the flight and seemed to love to be up in the air. Rudy was found running as a stray in Ohio and was brought into an animal control facility, where he was at risk of euthanasia. We can tell he was fending for himself for a long time due to his extreme weight loss/body condition. We are guessing he is between 3 and 5yrs old. So far he has been a sweet boy, loving attention from his foster mom. Rudy is energetic and likes sniffing and being outside in the fenced in yard, but yet likes to be by you and know what you are doing. He is crated in the home when left alone. Working on potty training, as he appears to have been a dog that had been kept outdoors only, which unfortunately most hounds are. He does fine when strangers come by, seems to like all humans. He has been doing good with the other foster dogs, he has reacted back to a more dominant male, but he just got neutered and we are hoping this helps with that.

Bella is approximately eight years old (maybe younger) and is likely a Labrador mix. She listens well, does amazing with a two year old son, (in the advocates home) and she is good with dogs. She does seem to leave cats alone. Bella is crate trained. If you can see the video it does look like Bella loves to play!

Bella lived her whole life outside in a kennel and a family friend would throw bags of dog food over and left them for her every couple weeks. The lady abandoned her with an elderly lady who couldn’t walk out to the kennel she was kept in. She is the sweetest thing ever, despite being neglected.

Chelsea is a sweet Beagle mix, that is an older gal, about 12-12.5 years old. She had lived with a family with kids for eight years but the family compassionately feels like she needs a quieter home with the addition of another child.

We are looking for a soft, sweet place for Chelsea to land. She has known nothing but love and goodness for the last eight years and will be easy to care for.

Welcome Blanca to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2 year old Rat Terrier mix. She came in from a hoarding situation. We received 3 dogs from this case. One was adopted already and one had to go to a specialized trainer in another Rescue. Blanca has started opening up and allowing people to pet her and hold her. She never got any attention in her original home, the hoarder. She is good with other dogs and causes no issues. She is kennel trained and her response to being afraid is to run and hide. She is a timid girl and not the social butterfly. She would be perfect with a person that is more introverted and wants a pet that is also similar. Blanca would be satisfied being at home with you all the time. A small walk in the yard would be fine. She until now, has not walked on leash. She is learning to do it at our Rescue. She would like a patient owner and a quieter home. An older couple or older single person would be great. Someone with a quieter home. She would be fine kenneled away if you had a party or people over. She is not very vocal and prefers to blend into the woodwork. She is really a great dog for the right family.
