Daisy Jo is a Great Pyrenees mix that was surrendered by her owners. She is three years old, spayed, approximately 110 lbs, house broken, very healthy and up to date on vaccines.
She has always been on heart worm and flea and tick medication monthly. Her owners had her professionally groomed every three months.

She is good with other dogs, but not sure how she is with other animals, since she had only been around dogs. She is extremely gentle taking food or treats by hand but has some protectiveness when it comes to her food bowl and other dogs. No big deal feed her in her own space

11. Harriet

Adult (5 years 5 months) · Female · Great Pyrenees (long coat)

Well, well, well, it seems that our sweet “ older gal” Harriett is not so old. We were originally told 11 years old but knew that couldnt be true. Our vet estimate about 7. After an older adopter took this sweet girl home, she realized that she has a lot more energy than expected for an old dog. Her vet confirmed that she is probably closer to 5 years old. Since she was a bit too much for our older adopter so she is back and looking for a new home. She would thrive in a more active owner with a fenced in yard as she so enjoys being outside. She absolutely loves all people, especially kids. Harriet is completely house trained and takes food and treats like a lady. Her adopter says she is an absolute dream dog, with a very gentle nature, she is just more than she can handle at her age. She is quiet in the house with very little barking. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and has exposure to cats. Harriet would do best as the only dog or with a submissive laidback male. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org
