Sweet Daisy is a survivor! She survived being shot and has shrapnel permanently imbedded in her nasal cavity. It doesn't bother her and there is nothing medically needed, however it does make her a VERY loud breather and snorer (listen to video). The only considerations for her are the same as a brachycephalic dog (smushed faces). Can over heat easir and need to watch her in heat and with over exercizing. She is very sweet, likes kids, cats, chicken, livestock and dogs if they are not rowdy. She gets annoyed with rowdy dogs but does not fight, sh's a lover not a fighter. She has also survived heartworm treatment like a champ! Daisy has bee in a rescue for over a year and is now ready for her forever home and family of her own.

Romeo is the perfect namesake for this lover boy. He was found as a stray. Romeo reaches out of his kennel when you walk by. He is STARVING for affection. He runs all his energy off and then rolls over in your lap. Dog social - but no kitties please.

Kemba was placed by the rescue in 2020. The adopters have requested our help in rehoming her.

Kemba really is a great dog with so much love to give. She's incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. Whether it's playing fetch, going for walks, or just curling up next to you on the couch, she's happiest when she's spending time with someone. One of the things we've always loved about her is how easily she adjusts to whatever we're doing. She can play ball for hours if you're up for it, but she's just as happy lounging on the couch all afternoon. She sleeps well at night, usually on the living room couch.

Jeremy is a 2-year-old pit bull who is, quite simply, an absolute love. This sweet, affectionate boy adores people and gets along great with other dogs. He loves to play and have fun, but he also settles down beautifully when playtime is over, making him the perfect mix of playful pup and cuddle buddy.
Jeremy would do well with children, too! Because he can be an enthusiastic guy, we recommend kids who are sturdy on their feet and ready for all that Jeremy love.

This handsome 6 yr old bully joined us from Texas this week. He came with the name Dudley - but he doesn't know it. Two year old King joined us after his owner died. Accompanied by his housemate, Queen, they entered an urban NY shelter and were confused. King is a handsome, adaptable guy whose future is up to his next family. He has lived with older school aged kids, another dog, and a family.
