I’ll be the perfect companion for active gang who enjoys a day walking and playing, and snuggling up to relax with my people before I go to sleep in my crate.

I’m a 1 year old husky mix (we think) who almost never barks (just the occasional happy yodel). I love every person, kid, and dog I meet… and I really love being right next to you. The photos don’t lie — I park myself as close as I can get.
I’m crate trained and fully potty trained, but my favorite place to sleep is still near my people. Pro tip: if you hear the ice machine, watch me come running. Ice cubes are my love language.
Looking for my forever people who want a great walking/hiking partner, but also a snuggly girl who will follow them from room to room. Come meet me? I already want to sit on your feet.

You can find me exploring and wagging my tail nearly every day! Take me to the forest, let me frolic through some flowers, bring me along to festivals, visit a friend’s house, or take me to the Farmer’s Market. I’m always up for a little fun! I’m great in the car and fairly fluent in following along on my leash.

And the crate? Well, food has quickly taught me that it’s a safe and comfortable space. Give me a fine little morsel, and I’ll happily head right in! I’m also house-trained and already know how to follow a few important instructions, like “sit.”

Patches is completely up-to-date, neutered, and ready to go! When he was first picked up with the other dogs they did have a bit of a flea infestation that has Long since been cleared up but he still has some patchy skin as a result and it is starting to come back in nicely!

Patches’ adoption fee is $300 and he will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard. He is currently located in Columbus Ohio. Who is this sweet man? That man is Ham! He is a 4yo beagle basset mix.

Ham needs the most special forever home because he needs somebody who is willing to adopt or foster him and help him through heartworm treatment, at OBHR‘s cost!

Ham came to OBHR with two other dogs from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in St. Louis for a few weeks with cats with no issues also. He is a shy guy who would do best with another dog to keep him company. He is up-to-date on his shots, However he is not able to be neutered until after his heartworm treatment is complete as we cannot subject him to anesthesia until his heart is healthy. All of this will be done at our cost as long as you can bring him back to our Vet in the Columbus area for treatment.

Ham will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard and he is currently located in the Columbus area. He is good around other dogs, and was in a foster home for a few weeks in Missouri with cats before he came to us with no issues. He is completely up-to-date, neutered, and ready to go to a new home! They did have a bit of a flea infestation when they were first picked up which is why they have patchy skin, but that has Long since been cleared up and he is healing up nicely! One of the vets who looked at Elmer recommended possibly feeding him in a ceramic bowl for food and water for a while until the skin around his face clears up.

At home, he’s the definition of easygoing, enjoying long naps, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by from a favorite window. He loves car rides and camping.

We do not know Lulu‘s complete background, we were told that one of her former owners was older and had a hard time walking so she was rehomed. We were also told that there was another Former Owner who was moving out of state and could not take her. The family that relinquished Lulu to us loved her dearly but was having an issue with Lulu not wanting to share her humans with the other dogs in the house.

She did feed Lulu separately due to some food aggression with her other dogs. She is definitely a basset when it comes to getting into some things left out! She is cute and sneaky!

Lulu will need a home with somebody who has previously owned a basset hound and is familiar with their stubborn nature! She is dog selective as she was fine with one of the other dogs in her last home but did not want to share her human with the other. New owners will need to discipline her and teach her sharing manners. She is not cat tested.

Kids age 10 minimum. She will also require a home with a fenced in yard. Lulu‘s adoption fee is $300 and she is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots. If

I am a great warm, weighted blanket!I I am house-trained and crate trained. I only bark when I’m excited (which doesn’t happen often, I’m pretty chill) or alerting my foster parents that something’s going on that shouldn’t be. Otherwise I’m as quiet as a mouse. My foster mom says my whine is so cute and dainty, I sound like a puppy even though I’m two years old.
