Britt arrived carrying a lifetime of hardship.At just 3 years old, Britt came from a hoarding situation where he lived with far too many animals and far too little care. When he arrived, he was nearly unrecognizable—bald, pink, and terrified of the world around him.Over the last three months, Britt has slowly begun to heal. His fur is growing back, his body is recovering, and most importantly, he's learning that people can be kind.Britt finds comfort in other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance. He recently discovered toys and watching him play for the first time was enough to bring tears to our eyes.

Cat is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl who likes to take life at her own pace. She’s very low-maintenance and doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot to relax, some loving pets, and plenty of snuggles.

Cat can be a little shy at first. She came to us from a cruelty case about a year ago, and while she has come such a long way, she still takes a little time to feel comfortable and trust new people. She has enjoyed going on short, slow strolls and spending time with volunteers, and we’ve watched her confidence grow along the way.
