1. Yuki
Puppy · Female · Hound / Mixed · 14 mi from Irving

Still a youngster, Yuki has a mix of basic skills she's tackled, and a few more she will learn with the support of a loving and dedicated family. She's been with both adults and kids, and she's adapted well to the routine of having to take care of business on a schedule.
Partly due to her young age, she gets excited while on walks and when around other dogs. She's getting better with a guiding hand on the other end of her leash who wants to help her become her best self. Yuki wants to be a wonderful companion for a family who enjoys daily walks, whether around her neighborhood or out in the big, beautiful world.
Read more about Yuki
Playtime also matters to her. Squeaky toys and bouncy balls are Yuki favorites and she'll even play by herself for a while. But when her people walk in the door, she's there to welcome them home. It's like she's already a member of the family.

5. Dobby
Puppy · Female · Terrier / Mixed · 14 mi from Irving

Dobby was spotted running around White Rock Lake with her brother, When her now foster approached, Dobby ran right up to say hello, happily accepted being picked up and immediately rolled over for belly rubs. That sweet, trusting personality has been shining ever since!
At just 4 months old, Dobby has already mastered the art of being someone's shadow. If you're sitting on the couch, she's climbing into your lap. Watching TV? She'd prefer to be curled up on your chest. Working at your desk? She'll happily squeeze onto your chair! She's a professional cuddler with a playful side, enjoying zoomies around the house, toys and plenty of puppy naps.
Read more about Dobby
Don't let her small size and sweet personality fool you, though! Dobby has a little feisty streak and isn't afraid to stand her ground when her bigger brother tries to steal her toys. She's great with kids and is slowly building confidence around other dogs, often rolling onto her back or lying beside them as she gets comfortable. She's also crate trained, doing well on a leash and making great progress with potty training. She even sleeps through the night!
Dobby would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, plenty of playtime and, most importantly, lots of affection. She's happiest when she's close to her people and would make a wonderful companion for someone excited to help a loving, playful puppy continue to grow.

Bree is a sweet 20-week-old puppy who weighs about 28 pounds and has a gentle, curious spirit. With a lower energy level, she enjoys exploring and playing, but she’s also happy to take things at her own pace and relax with her people.
Bree is adventurous, playful, and smart, though she can be shy when she encounters new people or situations. 15. Doodle
Puppy (3 months 26 days) · Female · Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat) · 19 mi from Irving

Hi, I’m Doodle! I’m a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix gal with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and the sweetest snuggles you could ask for. I love running around with my doggy siblings, chasing toys, and exploring, but I’m also a pretty laid‑back little gal who’s just as happy curling up beside you when playtime is done. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I’m good with kids and cats, and I have normal puppy energy, enough to make you smile, but not so much that I can’t settle down for cuddles. I love all toys, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. I’m sweet, playful, snuggly, and ready to become someone’s best little girl. My adoption fee is $300.
Puppies will come fully vetted and the rescue will pay for spay and neuter.

16. Noodles
Puppy (3 months 26 days) · Female · Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat) · 19 mi from Irving

Hi, I’m Noodles, a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and fluff so light and sweet it looks like I was dusted with powdered sugar. I’m just as fluffy as my sister Doodle, but I come in a lighter shade—like the sunshine version of our little duo. I love running around with my doggy siblings, chasing toys, and exploring new things, but I’m also a pretty laid‑back little girl who’s just as happy curling up beside you once playtime winds down. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I’m good with kids and cats, and I have normal puppy energy—enough to make you laugh and keep things fun, but not so much that I can’t settle in for snuggles. I adore all toys, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly like the fluffy little champion I am. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. If you’re looking for an adorable, light‑colored fluffball with a sweet soul and a playful heart, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $300. Puppies will come fully vetted and the rescue will pay for spay and neuter.

Hi, I’m Waffles, a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and the cutest scruffy black‑and‑brindle coat you’ve ever seen. I look a little like a tiny woodland creature—sweet, scruffy, and full of charm—and I even have a little white tuft on my chin that makes everyone smile the moment they see me. I love running around with my doggy siblings, exploring new things, and chasing toys, but I’m also a pretty easygoing little girl who’s just as happy curling up beside you when playtime is over. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I adore toys of all kinds, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly with my scruffy little swagger. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. 18. Mongo
Puppy (9 months) · Male · Great Pyrenees / Mixed (short coat) · 12 mi from Irving

Meet Mongo! He is a male 9 month old puppy looking for a forever family. He is happy, playful, and talkative.
We think he is a Great Pyrenees and possibly German Shepherd mix (due to his big ears that stand upright at times). He currently weighs around 50lbs, we think he will grow up to be around 70-80lbs.
Mongo loves being near his people and dog friends. He can be too rough with little kids but would be fine with older children. He does well meeting new people on outings. He enjoys getting pets and sleeping near his 'pack'.
Read more about Mongo
He gets along great with the dogs in his foster home but requires slow introductions with new adult dogs as he can be unsure and reactive. He has met new dogs while in his foster home and done well after being introduced. He recently had a 'sleepover' with a new foster puppy and he was very excited to have a younger playmate.
Mongo is cautious around the cat in his foster home as it is mean to him, Mongo will run away if hissed at.
Mongo walks well on the leash and enjoys car rides. He likes to play with toys and in water.
He is potty trained and crate trained. He is very smart and food motivated, so learns things quickly. Although with his sassy attitude and a typical 'Pyrenees' stubbornness, he doesn't always listen. He will talk back to you and enjoys having a conversation.
Mongo will provide his family with entertainment, loyalty, and even conversation.
Mongo is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is currently in a foster home near Dallas / Ft Worth area of Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport. His adoption fee is $300.

Adopting a puppy in Irving
Puppies usually go to their new homes from about eight weeks old, once they're weaned and have had their first vaccinations. Most rescues spay or neuter them before adoption, or include it in the fee.
Ask the rescue how big the puppy is expected to grow and which breeds they think are in the mix, so you can plan for the dog they'll become.
Puppies need a lot of your time: house-training, a few minutes of training every day, several small meals, and someone home often enough to let them out. A puppy class is a good way to start.
