Paige was surrendered to the local animal shelter when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is the mama to our puppies Macaroni, Casserole and Butter Bean. Paige is currently going through heartworm treatment and will be healthy, fully up to date on vaccinations and microchipped so she can find her forever home veryt soon. Paige is amazingly sweet and loves to be around people. Here is what we know so far:> great with all people, young/old, man/woman> does get along well with other dogs> does do well with cats> loves toys and some good zoomies around the house and yard> loves car rides / is a great passenger> no problems with bath or nail trims> she does well on the leash and doesn't pull hard but will need some more training to stop zick-zacking in front of your feet> couch cuddles? yes please!Paige does entertain herself well with a couple toys so we think a home with our without dogs, either one is fine.

Macaroni, like the noodle dish he is named after, is a goofy guy who exudes warmth, love, and wholesomeness. If it’s not his playful puppy antics making you laugh, his ears certainly will. They have been voted the best ears by the volunteers, and each seems to have a mind of their own. We’re hoping he’ll grow into them; but even if he doesn’t, they’ll still be great!
Mac’s favorite things are playing and laying in your lap to be held like a baby. That is also his favorite napping position, which comes in close as a favorite thing to do when he’s not frolicking around. He’s definitely a #1 snuggle buddy! Mac gets along great with other dogs, cats, and all people. Everyone is his friend! He also knows the basic commands of ‘sit’ and ‘down’; a very smart dude, just like his brothers.
And one of his cutest features? He’s a talker! He loves to let you know exactly what he’s thinking, and to know what you’re thinking in return. He’s affectionate, fun, and full of personality—an all-around wonderful puppy looking for his forever home.

3. Butter Bean
Say hello to Butter Bean!
Affectionately called “Bean” for short, he is a typical puppy; playful, full of energy, and a total heartthrob. He might sometimes remind you of a ‘jumping’ Bean, with his big energy and zest for life. He loves a good game of tug, wrestling with his brothers and friends, and would surely love a good hike or two.

He is house and crate trained (he goes into his crate on command), and gets along with everyone; dogs, cats, and humans of all ages and sizes. He has yet to meet a stranger, and loves to be in the middle of all the action. While he may be the smallest of the litter, he is just as big as his brothers when it comes to love, adventure, and a good time. Equally to his love for play he easily settles down for quiet time to chew on his bone or to snuggle up and adore his humans while watching TV.
Bean rides well in the car, and is doing great with his leash training and learning his basic commands. He already knows “sit”, "down", "come" and “drop it”! He also LOVES a good bath. Maybe he’d be into a visit to a lake or pond? As long as it’s with you, he surely wouldn’t mind.

WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS? Meet 13-year-old Carmello, the pit mix who apparently missed the memo that seniors are supposed to slow down! This handsome gentleman is 13 going on 3! He's playful, energetic, loves his toys, enjoys car rides, and walks like a gentleman on a leash. Basically, he's got his retirement plan all figured out... and it involves FUN! Carmello is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He LOVES attention and would be thrilled to have a family to spoil him with all the love he deserves! Cats? Meet Rex! Five-year-old Chihuahua mix Rex is a little guy who is still trying to figure out this whole new world around him. Rex came to us through a seizure case and sadly, he wasn't living in the best conditions. He arrived with three other dogs, and while he seems to be dog friendly, he is very nervous and unsure of new people and new experiences. A dog test will be required with any current dogs in the home. Rex may need a couple of meet-and-greets before he feels comfortable enough to show you who he really is. He is unsure about affection right now, and that's okay. He needs someone who understands that trust takes time and will allow him plenty of decompression time without asking too much of him too quickly.

MEET BROWN BEAR! This handsome 2-year-old Pit Mix is ready to find his forever familyand he's bringing ALL the fun and energy with him! Meet our fun-loving and spirited staffy mix, Fendi!
Fendi is about 2 yrs old and is a medium sized dog at 56 pounds. She was found as a stray and taken to the local shelter. Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.
As a young dog, she has lots of energy and loves walking, hiking, and playing fetch with her favorite ball or toy. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn. Fendi completed a three-week training program with

19. Mocha
Meet our fun-loving and spirited black lab mix Mocha!
Mocha is about 18 months old and is a medium-sized dog at 52 pounds. She was surrendered to a local shelter where Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to take her in and offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.
As a young dog, Mocha is a highly energetic and loves going on long walks, hikes, and playing fetch with her favorite ball and toys. She’s a well behaved, incredibly smart girl who is eager to learn and already knows several commands.

Mocha gets along well with other dogs but needs to be paired with an equally energetic dog. She loves to play and zoom around the backyard with other dogs. After playtime, she’s just as happy curling up next to you on the sofa for some quiet cuddle time.
She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes a loving companion. Mocha is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines.
Mocha will do best homed with another energetic dog. She is good with older children who can keep her busy playing, She is vocal, especially when left alone. She requires a yard to run and frequent walks as well.

Rex is a fun young guy that is looking for love from a forever family. He loves attention from people and he loves to play with dog friends. He is sometimes shy about new things and sounds, but he is learning how to be a dog more and more every day. He is doing well with stay and other commands and is housebroken. He rarely barks and it is usually because he is excited while playing with other dogs. He loves walks and outside yard time. He would do best in a house with a fenced yard and no small pets.
