Meet our fun-loving and spirited staffy mix, Fendi!

Fendi is about 2 yrs old and is a medium sized dog at 56 pounds. She was found as a stray and taken to the local shelter. Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.

As a young dog, she has lots of energy and loves walking, hiking, and playing fetch with her favorite ball or toy. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn. Fendi completed a three-week training program with

Meet our fun-loving and spirited black lab mix Mocha!

Mocha is about 18 months old and is a medium-sized dog at 52 pounds. She was surrendered to a local shelter where Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to take her in and offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.

As a young dog, Mocha is a highly energetic and loves going on long walks, hikes, and playing fetch with her favorite ball and toys. She’s a well behaved, incredibly smart girl who is eager to learn and already knows several commands.

This little girl was left at a short-staffed, over-crowded shelter and was on the euthanasia list. Because she was pregnant, staff made a hard push to get her out as they could not safely deliver her pups in the shelter. She is now in a foster home at AFH where she can deliver her pups in a warm, loving home. This sweet girl is friendly, loving and calm. She is OK with other dogs and a bit shy, but warms up quickly. Pumpkin came in painfully skinny, but once she came into rescue she's been putting on weight nicely and is blossoming into a happy, healthy pup. This adorable Lab mix is the last of her litter still waiting for a family to call her own, and we are determined to help her find the wonderful forever home she deserves! These three tiny puppies were found in an abandoned house all alone. They are guessing that they Australian Shepherd mixes.

Meet Chad — the only boy in a litter of six sisters, and he’s absolutely convinced this makes him royalty. In his mind, he’s not just a puppy… he’s the Prince of Snuggles and the Duke of Head Tilts. Chad has already perfected that irresistible head tilt, which he uses to charm his way into extra treats, belly rubs, and “aww”s from everyone he meets. Chad is laid-back and easygoing, the kind of pup who’s happy to lounge and watch the world go by… until excitement strikes.

Meet Brodie a 4 year old collie. He is a sweet and loving companion who just wants to be close to his people! ❤️ Brodie loves being part of the family and likes to keep tabs on everyone to make sure his favorite humans are nearby. In return for all the love and attention you give him, he’ll happily shower you with plenty of pets-worthy affection and some very enthusiastic wet kisses!
Brodie gets along well with other dogs and cats, making him a wonderful addition to a home with furry family members. He’s also a good car rider, enjoys his meals, and is making nice progress with walking on a leash.
One of Brodie’s favorite activities is exploring the local park, where he can enjoy all the interesting sights and smells.

Meet Blue!
Blue is a handsome, happy-go-lucky young man who is almost three years old and ready to find his perfect home! Recently neutered, this big boy is full of energy, affection, and personality. He needs to gain a little weight, but once he fills out, he’ll be an impressive 75+ pounds of Collie charm!
Blue loves people, enjoys children, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s an enthusiastic guy who is still learning his manners, so he’ll need a family willing to continue his training and help him become the best boy he can be. He can be a little mouthy during play and sometimes gets carried away with excited grabbing, but he has plenty of love to give!
Blue has a strong prey drive and gets very excited when he spots squirrels, so a home with appropriate supervision around small animals is important.
This fun-loving boy is discovering the joys of being a dog! Toys seem to be a relatively new adventure, and Blue loves them all.

This pint-sized pup is secretly plotting to steal your heart (and maybe your socks). At first, Mindy might give you the “I’m not sure about you yet” look, but the moment she decides you’re safe, she’ll unleash her playful side—especially if her siblings are around. This lucky boy was left in an over-crowded shelter and had to be rescued just in time to save him. He now is a safe and loving foster home.. Foxy is one wonderful dog! With his gorgeous, sleek looks and happy personality, he’s sure to steal your heart. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, both human and canine, and currently lives with multiple dogs, getting along beautifully with the whole crew. He seems to have no issues with cats, too! Foxy is a happy, eager-to-please boy who wants to do the right thing. He comes when called, is doing well on the leash, and seems to be no stranger to the comforts of home.
