Meet Victoria and Sophia! These two beautiful girls are 4 months old and have quite a story.

They were rescued as tiny babies from the streets of Puerto Rico. Their rescuer had originally planned to trap, spay, and release all four puppies because there simply aren't enough homes on the island. She released two, but when it came time to let Victoria and Sophia go, she just couldn't do it. Instead, she brought them home, raised them, and gave them the chance to find loving families of their own.

Introducing Otto, the perfect pup! Weighing in at just 20 pounds and about 5 years old, Otto is looking for a home that is active, fun and loves to play. He is great with male and female adults, all aged kids, all sized dogs, and even cats. Otto is crate trained, house trained, and has learned how to be a snuggly indoor beagle boy, with no bad habits. Otto did not have the best start in life, so he looks a little older than he is, but he has plenty of spunk and loves to go hard, (but then go home to nap!!). Otto’s only requirement is for a person/family that will give him lots of attention and stuffies. This boy cherishes his toys!

Sage found herself at a local animal control as a stray. She was severely underweight & has been chowing down every meal since we took her into rescue! She is 4 or 5 months old & just a sweet baby angel!!!! She is brave on walks & likes meeting new people. Sage loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home & would thrive with another dog to blow off steam with!She is also a HUGE snuggle monster & loves to nap in close or in your lap. Audrey is a sweet submissive girl adjusting to life in a foster home versus the shelter she came from in PR. 5 months old 20 lbs female She is very comfortable outside and loves other respectful dogs. She is currently in foster with a cat and other dogs. She could learn to navigate kids. She may keep a healthy distance from kids at first until she gets used to them. Audrey will be spayed when the vet says she is old enough. (Probably next month) and her spay is included in her $395 adoption fee. She is enjoying getting love and is happy to have a a bowl of food all to herself for the first time in her life. She loves squeaker toys and hasn't discovered bones yet.

There’s nothing in the world he loves more than a good snuggle. And thank goodness, because his snuggles are downright therapeutic.
Jaxson is a petite 45-pound, 6-year-old guy with a calm, easygoing personality. But every now and then, the sillies come out. He’ll roll onto his back, chomp at the air, and make the most ridiculous little gremlin noises.
His favorite things include snuggling, going for walks, chewing on bones, riding in the car, meeting people, snuggling, and, of course, more snuggling.
He absolutely adores children and has been wonderfully gentle with them.

Thankfully, we were able to bring the whole family into our network of care. Mama and her four little ones are now safe, and we are working through their veterinary protocol so the puppies can travel to the States when they are around 3 months old.

Meet Winchester, a precocious hound looking for an active family. Winchester is housebroken, crate trained, and loves getting out on leash. Winchester, isn't perfect and needs a family with another dog that wants to play, he does best with structure and enjoys spending time with his people. Winchester needs either a 6 ft fence or a dedicated leash walker, he just doesn't quite get why he can't hangout on the otherside of the short fence. No cats for Winchester. Winchester is lovable, quirky, kind and fun, and with exercise which lets face it we can all use more of, he is a great companion who thrives on adventure.

Frankie is an 8.9 year old fawn female pug. She is doing great with the pugs in her foster home. She is fine as an only pug or with other dogs. She has no experience with cats. Frankie has dry eye syndrome and pigmentary keratitis so she will need prescription eye drops twice a day for life. She does have limited vision because of this but get along great. She also has a chicken allergy and is doing great on the fish based dog food.
Frankie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on routine shots, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Punch Buggy is an active, fun-loving fella, who loves to learn new tricks and is super food motivated. He was actually adopted from SAWAS (then SVASC) previously, but his owners couldn't take him where they moved so he's here again, looking for his permanent family!

Meet Abbie! She's a 3 year old Pitbull Terrier who's about 50 pounds, spayed, and up to date on all her vetting! Abbie went through my training program at Wag More Dog Training almost 2 years ago and was a dream to work with! Unfortunately, she was in a home environment that was a little rough and broke down her confidence, so we've been focusing on re-socializing and building her back up while also getting her physically healthy again.
She is unsure and shy of new people, but warms up quickly if you're patient and have some treats! She absolutely loves children, she grew up with several and has done well around the infant in our home.

Meet Waffles! Waffles is a very sweet boy, plain and simple. We estimate he’s around two years old and already showing what a wonderful companion he’ll make. Waffles came into our rescue after being found abandoned in a crate outside of a PetSmart in Spring. Despite this rough start, he has remained gentle, trusting, and full of love. During his time at a boarding facility, Waffles has been an absolute gentleman. He’s quick to learn, eager to please, and clearly enjoys positive attention and guidance. His sweet nature and willingness to learn make him a joy to be around and a great candidate for continued training. Waffles is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the love and stability he deserves.
