1. Bubba
MEET BUBBA! BIG DOG, BIGGER HEART!
10 months old | 48 lbs | Doberman/Alaskan Husky Mix
Well, someone forgot to tell Bubba that he isn’t a lap dog! At 48 pounds, this handsome boy is already a big horse, but in his mind, he’s still a tiny puppy who belongs right in your lap!
Bubba is a big, lovable guy with lots of puppy energy, affection, and personality. He loves people and thinks everyone is there to give him attention and love. And trust us, he has plenty of love to give! ❤️
A little about Bubba:
Potty trained! Not a single accident in the house.
Knows his commands to sit and lie down.
Working on his leash manners and making great progress!

Loves riding in the car and sitting in the backseat watching the world go by.
Wants to play with other dogs, although dog compatibility still needs to be evaluated.
Has met the resident cat, and so far, they’ve mostly been having staring contests!
Crate training is unknown. He has his own suite when not spending time with his foster.
Bubba recently had a full grooming, and he’s looking and smelling like a million bucks! His groomers had nothing but great things to say about him. He was super friendly, loved being groomed, and enjoyed meeting new people.
What kind of home does Bubba need?
Bubba is still a puppy in a BIG body! He will need a younger, active home with someone willing to invest time in continued training, structure, and helping him learn his manners. He loves to jump up and shower you with affection, so he’ll need someone willing to work on those enthusiastic greetings.
He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart, and we know he’s going to make someone an incredible companion!

DAISY B NEEDS A SPECIAL SOMEONE — FOSTER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!
Anyone who has ever worked with rescue breeder dogs knows that some of the hardest souls to bring around are the breeder mommas.
One can only imagine what their lives must have been like.
We see them time and time again. Their little feet and legs stained halfway up from standing in urine and feces. Dogs who have spent so much of their lives confined to crates, never knowing the simple pleasures that most dogs take for granted.
No soft bed. No loving arms. No understanding of what it means to simply be someone’s beloved pet.

And sometimes, even after they’re rescued, their journey to healing is far from over.
Sometimes they land in a home that, despite the best intentions, simply isn’t the right environment for what they need emotionally.

This beautiful little Bernedoodle girl was pulled from a shelter, but her journey is only beginning.
Daisy B doesn’t need someone to fix her overnight. She doesn’t need a busy household, lots of visitors, or people expecting her to behave like a typical happy-go-lucky doodle.
She needs PEACE. She needs PATIENCE. And most importantly, she needs someone willing to meet her exactly where she is. ❤️
WHAT DAISY B NEEDS:
A quiet, peaceful home with no children.
A patient, compassionate foster who understands that trust is earned, not demanded.
Someone who will celebrate the smallest victories, even if that means simply watching her relax in the same room.
She could potentially live with one other calm, appropriate dog or she is fine with being the only dog. Right now, we’re still learning what works best for her. She doesn’t mind other dogs, but she doesn’t actively interact with them either.
Most importantly, someone who understands that a dog doesn’t have to be affectionate right away to be worthy of love.
We have seen dogs like Daisy B blossom into the most extraordinary companions when given the right environment and the gift of time.
And here’s something we’ve learned after years in rescue…
Sometimes the dogs who need the most patience are the very dogs who end up changing our lives the most.
Daisy B may never forget where she came from, but with the right person, she can learn that the rest of her life will be different.

MEET OLIVER! YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND IS WAITING!
6 months old | 28 lbs | Australian Shepherd
If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle shadow who just wants to be loved, Oliver might be your guy!
This handsome Aussie follows his foster everywhere, simply happy to be wherever his people are. He is one of the gentlest pups around, and honestly, we don’t think this boy has a mean bone in his body! ❤️

Not a fan of the crate — he'll need some patience and positive reinforcement as he learns that crate time isn't so bad.
Oliver is still a puppy, so let’s be realistic about expectations. He is NOT potty trained yet, and his new family will need patience, consistency, and a willingness to work through all the normal puppy behaviors. He’s still learning how to be the best dog he can be!
Cats? Not tested.

Please welcome DeeDee to 4 Lucky Dogs Pet Rescue!!
DeeDee is a 10–12-month-old probable Labradoodle who is absolutely stunning—with one beautiful blue eye that is sure to catch your attention!
She arrived on transport Saturday thanks to our friends at Help Four Paws out of Milton, Florida. We are so grateful for their help getting this sweet girl to us! our friends at Pavilion Crossing Animal Hospital were able to get her in right away so we could bring her up-to-date on shots, and while she was there, we snapped a few Halloween pics!!

DeeDee is a delightful little soul who needs a little polish on her manners and leash skills. She loves her people so much that she likes to jump up to give hugs! She’ll need a family willing to help her learn to keep all four paws on the floor. For that reason, no small children, please.
She weighs 35 lbs and could stand to gain a little weight. DeeDee needs a foster or pre-adopter, with priority given to pre-adopters! She must remain local—within approximately two hours of the Tampa, Riverview, Sarasota, or St. Petersburg area—so she can return for her scheduled spay.

Sweet Mocha has been with us for over a month now, and while she’s making progress, she still has a long road ahead as she learns that the world can be a safe place. ❤️
Mocha isn’t the kind of girl who will run up to you looking for attention right away. She’s still figuring things out, building confidence, and learning to trust the people around her. But every little step forward matters, and we know the right home can make all the difference.

A fenced yard is REQUIRED. Mocha is timid and not fully leash trained, so she needs a secure outdoor space where she can safely go out and build confidence.
Mocha has found her own little safe place in her foster home. She likes being near her people, but she feels most comfortable having her own space rather than being right in the middle of everything. She may not be a cuddle bug just yet, but she deserves the time and patience to discover what love feels like at her own pace. ❤️
✨ Mocha needs a patient, understanding family who will let her blossom on her own timeline. A confident, friendly dog in the home is a requirement to help her learn, feel secure, and gain confidence.

7. Remington
OUR GENTLEMAN REMINGTON IS READY TO GO!!
Meet Remington, a handsome 2-year-old Aussiedoodle with a sensitive soul and a whole lot of potential.
Remington came to us as an owner surrender, and we believe he’s simply one of those dogs who somehow slipped through the cracks in the socialization arena. He hasn’t had the exposure, socialization, or life experiences that many dogs his age have had—but now he finally has the opportunity to learn.
Remington is looking for an amazing family who will love him for exactly who he is today, while patiently showing him just how wonderful that big, wide world can be.
Here’s what we’ve learned about Remington:

He hasn’t had much experience walking on a leash, so a home where he would need to be leash-walked for every potty break—such as an apartment or housing complex with no yard—is not the right fit for him. A home with a secure fenced yard where he can decompress, explore, and build confidence at his own pace would be much better.
Remington was recently neutered and is still learning how to navigate new people and other dogs. He doesn’t appreciate dogs getting right in his face, but he is adjusting to dogs who are respectful and willing to give him his space.
And now we’re getting to see him blossom!
Remington has been spending some time at Neely’s Pet Oasis in Wesley Chapel, where he is learning how to socialize appropriately with other dogs now that he is neutered, —and he is doing GREAT!
Remington doesn’t need someone expecting a perfectly polished dog on Day One. He needs someone patient, kind, and willing to celebrate the little victories as he discovers that new people, new dogs, leashes, adventures, and life outside his comfort zone can actually be pretty amazing.
