Athena

Background: Meet 1 year old 63 pound Athena! She was found by a very kind person who loved her dearly but was not ready to add another dog to her pack so she patiently searched for a rescue for her. When she was found she weighed 51 pounds and has gained 10 pounds in under a month....another few pounds are still needed:) She truly looks like a mix of an Aussie, Lab, Golden and Great Pyrenees.

Personality: Athena is a sweet dog with a medium amount of energy. She has loved every person and dog she has met. She is very easy going and trusting.

Health: Athena has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training: She walks on a leash and is busy learning basic words! She appears to be housetrained to boot!

Ideal Home: She would love a home where she can be a part of a family. She could work with a busy family that is on the go or a quieter family....she just wants people that will love her and include her in their lives.

Adoption Requirements: Athena’s adoption fee is $400. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application.

*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
