At just 6 months old, Bear has already overcome more than most dogs experience in a lifetime. This gorgeous German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter in rough condition. He had suffered a traumatic injury that cost him a tooth and was battling respiratory infections that required time and care to overcome.
Fast-forward two months, and Bear is absolutely THRIVING! ❤️
Not only has he made an incredible recovery, but he's blossomed into an exceptionally intelligent, confident, affectionate, and well-mannered young dog.

Bruno appreciates the simple pleasures: a leisurely walk, a tasty treat, a friendly game of chase, and a comfortable couch beside his people. In true dachshund fashion, he loves burrowing into pillows and blankets. If your idea of a lovely evening includes a cozy spot and a devoted companion, Bruno would be happy to join you.
He has been friendly and nonreactive with the dogs he’s met so far, both large and small. He plays appropriately with his foster sisters and enjoys their company. Found as a stray alongside another dog, Bruno also shared space with other dogs during his shelter stay.
Bruno walks beautifully on a leash, making outings together a pleasure. Toys haven’t caught his interest just yet; for now, people, treats, and his canine companions seem to be his favorite things.
He is still working on his indoor manners and currently marks in the home. His foster family is managing this with belly bands, and his adopter should be prepared to continue patient, consistent housetraining as he adjusts.

Meet Oscar: a 5-year-old, 22-pound sweetheart with a big, happy smile and an even bigger personality.
When Oscar first came into foster care, he was the dog watching quietly from the corner, unsure whether people could be trusted. Four months later, he’s blossoming. He’s discovered a love of toys, so much so that he gathers all his favorites into one big pile. He plays fetch with enthusiasm and has a blast romping with other small dogs at the dog park. He’s even starting to enjoy walks, though he’s still getting the hang of them. And when it’s time to rest, you’ll find him burrowed deep in a blanket for a cozy nap.

That’s not because he’s unfriendly, as he doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, but because he looks to one special person for guidance and affection.
