16. Willow
Meet Willow – A Petite Pup with a Big, Bright Spirit!
Breed: Boston Terrier mix
Sex: Female
Approximate date of birth: Late July 2026
Current weight: About 5 lbs
Energy level: Medium to high
Willow may be small, but she’s packed with personality! This little sweetheart is curious, clever, and ready to take on the world one tiny paw at a time.
Willow is a quick learner who already understands mealtime manners. Hold her bowl up by your chest and she’ll sit nicely and wait for her food. She’s coming along well with house training too. She uses her pee pad and is going outside more often to potty, especially after she eats.
Read more about Willow
Car rides are no problem for this girl. She travels like a pro in a doggie booster seat or crate and is happy to tag along wherever you go. She’s doing nicely on leash for her age and is easygoing about baths and nail trims.
Willow loves to play and explore, but once she’s worn herself out, she’s happy to settle in for some sleepy cuddles. She’s not a full-time lap dog, but those snuggly moments are extra sweet.
Willow would thrive with:
A loving, engaged home ready to enjoy the fun of puppyhood and help her learn and grow. Willow loves other dogs and would happily share her home with a friendly canine companion, but she’ll do just as well as an only dog..
Care notes:
Like many small breed puppies, Willow eats 3–4 small meals a day and she uses a slow feeder at mealtimes.
If you’re ready to welcome a pint-sized bundle of fun into your life, submit an adoption application for Willow today!
I kept the same traits as Freya’s bio since they’re fostered together. If any details differ for Willow, like her house training, leash skills, or energy level, let me know and I’ll update the listing.
The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip,
age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure
a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe the breed, since our pups all come from shelters, we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*Please note that we are a foster home-based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.

17. Freya
Meet Freya – A Bright, Bouncy Boston Terrier Mix Ready for Adventure!
Breed: Terrier mix
Sex: Female
Approximate date of birth: Late July 2026
Current weight: About 8 lbs (and growing fast!)
Energy level: Medium to high
Freya is a smart, spunky little girl with a big personality and plenty of enthusiasm for life. She’s growing quickly and learning just as fast!
Read more about Freya
This clever pup already knows how to sit politely for her meals. Hold her bowl up by your chest, and she’ll plant her bottom and wait. Freya is making great progress with house training. She reliably uses a pee pad and is heading outside more and more to do her business, especially after meals.
Freya is a fantastic travel companion. She rides beautifully in the car in a doggie booster seat or a crate, so she’s ready to join you on outings. She’s doing well on leash for a young pup and takes nail trims and baths in stride.
She has plenty of puppy energy for play, but when she’s finally tuckered out, she’ll happily curl up for some snuggles. She’s not a typical lap dog, but those sleepy cuddles are worth the wait!
Freya would thrive with:
An active, loving home that’s ready for puppy training and play. Freya gets along well with other dogs and would especially benefit from a confident, friendly dog at least 2 years old who can show her the ropes and help her grow into a well-mannered companion.
Care notes:
Like many small breed puppies, Freya currently eats 3–4 small meals a day. She uses a slow feeder at mealtimes.

18. Ava
Meet Ava! Ava is so sweet and affectionate, loves to cuddle, and incredibly smart. At just five months old and around 35 lbs, she’s already eager to learn and picks up new commands incredibly quickly. She is potty trained and has down all the basic commands, and is eager to learn more. She loves making her people proud. She loves to play fetch and explore, but is happy to lay down and snuggle with her people too. Like any puppy, Ava has a few typical puppy behaviors and is still learning about the world around her. She has playful energy but also has an incredibly affectionate side. Because Ava didn’t have the opportunity to be properly socialized early in life, she’s still learning that new people and new experiences are safe. She’s making wonderful progress every day and is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue building her confidence with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. The best part? Ava has all the ingredients to become an incredible lifelong companion. With continued love, consistency, and socialization, she’s going to grow into an amazing dog. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s smart, affectionate, fun, and ready to blossom, Ava might just be your perfect match.

19. Doc
The "Back To The Future" litter of pups is 1.21 gigawatts of pure cuteness! With
their mesmerizing eyes, unique coat colors and patterns, they are sure to win an Oscar!
Doc is approximately 12 weeks old and weighs approx. 10lbs. Like any
puppy she is in need of
training and someone who is willing to work with her.
True to her Aussie heritage Doc does like to herd her people. However, she is smart and takes corrections well so will thrive with a committed family to train her on the "do's and don'ts."
Read more about Doc
Foster Home Update: Any children in the home should be older. She plays very actively and loves to play "hard" with the other dogs in her foster home. She would love to have another dog in her forever home to wrestle with. Probably one on the younger side as she wrestles hard and I imagine it would be irritating to an older dog. She likes to follow you around the house. Is not found of the crate and does bark in the crate, will settle, however this is when there are other dogs in the same room with her so I do not know how she would be alone. Loves bones and toys!
She would excel in obedience training!
We recommend training for all our dogs!

22. Seamus
BIO
Hello! My name is Seamus. I had a broken leg and now I am doing very well. The vet said I will have no lingering issues. I will be ready for adoption at the end of October 2026. I am house trained and crate trained. Since I am still young it is best to crate me when you cannot supervise me. When visitors come to the house, I am so happy. I love meeting new people. I am incredibly affectionate. I love to give kisses, snuggle and be close to you.I have met a lot of other dogs, and I am always friendly when greeting them. I am usually looking for a playmate, and I understand when another dog does not want to play, so I just move on. I have met cats and do well with them too. I love playing with chew toys, squeaky toys and stuffies. I know how to play fetch and tug. I like going for car rides. I walk well on a leash. I am learning commands.I would like to find an active home with lots of fun activities and a yard to run around in. A family with children and other dogs for me to play with. Someone that can continue teaching me to be the best boy I can be. I know how to settle down and be a good boy too. I am a happy boy always wagging my tail. If you’re looking for a great dog, look no further, here I am!

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!

Adopting a puppy in Aurora
Puppies usually go to their new homes from about eight weeks old, once they're weaned and have had their first vaccinations. Most rescues spay or neuter them before adoption, or include it in the fee.
Ask the rescue how big the puppy is expected to grow and which breeds they think are in the mix, so you can plan for the dog they'll become.
Puppies need a lot of your time: house-training, a few minutes of training every day, several small meals, and someone home often enough to let them out. A puppy class is a good way to start.
