Eleanor is approximately 10-12 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. While she may be the eldest sister in the book and very refined our Eleanor says - that's not my style! Like the rest of her siblings she loves a good wrestling match and tug toy! She gives away kisses for free and will steal your heart if you're not careful.

Please check back for a foster home update once she settles into foster care.

We recommend training for all our dogs!

Margaret says: this is my best side! She is approximately 10-12 weeks old and the biggest of the girls at approx. 12 lbs. She is a doll! She loves to rough house with the boys - as does her character - so she would make an excellent match if you are looking for a playful dog.

Please check back for a foster home update once she settles into foster care.

We recommend training for all our dogs!

Foster Home Update: Any children in the home should be older. She plays very actively and loves to play "hard" with the other dogs in her foster home. She would love to have another dog in her forever home to wrestle with. Probably one on the younger side as she wrestles hard and I imagine it would be irritating to an older dog. She likes to follow you around the house. Is not found of the crate and does bark in the crate, will settle, however this is when there are other dogs in the same room with her so I do not know how she would be alone. Loves bones and toys!

She would excel in obedience training!

We recommend training for all our dogs!

He LOVES women and food (understandable!) is good with other dogs in the home (a Shepherd and another foster puppy) and doesn't care about the resident cat either! He is an 'atypical Chi' that gets comfy and accepts adults in the home and those he is familiar with that do not live with him when allowed to warm up on his terms. He does like to be the apple of your eye and will tell the other pets in the home "mine, mine, mine - go away". He is crate trained too! Kids should be older (no toddlers) and Chihuahua personality 'savvy'!

We recommend training for all our dogs!

Chi-chi’s adoption donation has been reduced to $300 due to a generous donor.

She's an independent girl that prefers to have fun vs being a cuddle bunny. She has created her own gait, not a walk, but not quite a run - but somewhere in between. Gets along with the dogs and cat, and other foster pups. Pad trained but still has accidents.

Photo of Mom (Bingo) is included for reference and she is also available for adoption!

We recommend training for all our dogs!

She is approximately 3 years old and weighs right near 25lbs and is a nice medium sized terrier mix. She is very shy, though her body language tells a very different story. She needs a home with patience that will allow her to adjust at her own pace. Once she gets to know you, the happiness will shine through as she wags not only her tail but her entire little body.

She has been around children, but prefers to not interact. She is unbothered by the cat and does fine with other dogs. Another dog in her potential forever home will also allow her to feel more relaxed and gain confidence.

This little lady just wants a peaceful place to call her own and promises she is worth it!
She will do well with formal training.

We recommend training for all our dogs!

Zuri is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog with a sweet, sensitive soul who is looking for an understanding family willing to help her continue building confidence. While she can be shy when faced with new people, places, and noises, once she feels safe she shows her affectionate, playful side and is highly motivated by food, treats, and mealtime.

One of Zuri's best qualities is her gentle nature. She is wonderful with older, respectful children who give her the space she needs. She does well with cats, and is exceptionally quiet.

In the yard, Zuri enjoys playful zoomies, chasing a ball, and exploring her surroundings. She is beginning to form bonds with other dogs and has recently started learning by watching and copying positive canine behaviors. It's rewarding to see her confidence grow a little more each day.

Zuri is crate trained and rides calmly in the car once she's loaded up. She appreciates clear, gentle guidance and currently responds well to being directed where she needs to go, whether that's outside or into her crate.

Like many dogs who have not had consistent training, Zuri will need continued work in several areas. She is not yet fully house-trained and may have accidents, particularly in her bedding. She is also a curious collector of household items and has developed a habit of picking up belongings and chewing shoes if given the opportunity. Prospective adopters should be prepared to manage her environment and continue teaching appropriate chew habits.

Zuri's confidence-building journey is still ongoing. She can be skittish around unfamiliar situations, does not yet walk well on a leash, and may need encouragement to get into the car. She also has some less glamorous dog habits, including rolling in and occasionally eating animal droppings, which her future family should be aware of.

The ideal home for Zuri is one that understands that not every dog arrives as a finished product. She will thrive with patient adopters who can provide structure, positive reinforcement, and time to adjust. In return, they'll gain a loving, quiet companion whose sweet personality shines brighter as her confidence grows.

If you're willing to celebrate small victories, laugh at a few goofy moments, and help a gentle Bernese discover that the world isn't so scary, Zuri may be the perfect addition to your family.

If you feel you have the time, patience and love to work with Zuri apply today!

Sunshyne is has opened up since settling into foster care. She loves playing with the other foster and resident dogs in the home and is a happy bouncy girl! She is growing like a weed and is expected to be a larger dog. Sunshyne loves to play fetch with a ball! She is very smart and will excel at obedience training. She would make a great family dog.

He settled in slowly and is housebroken. While he loves to play with other dogs he is also content to have some solo playtime with toys. He'll hang out in the yard alone or with a companion. Bear Claw is not a fan of the car, but looks forward to his walks and is gentle on leash. He is very friendly, and is quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite greeting every person and dog along the way.

He is crate trained but can be trusted in the home overnight, or when his foster is out.

He'll make a great family dog!
