Read more about Felix
Fall is in the air, and Felix is ready to be your ultimate pumpkin-spice sidekick! This handsome 3-year-old Rottie made the road trip up from Georgia and is fully prepared to leap into your pile of leaves (and your heart). His foster parent reports that he is a certified "good boy" and an absolute doll who just wants to cuddle. [1]
Felix is already fully house-trained and a total pro in his crate. Now, let’s talk about his true passion: snacks. Felix is insanely food-motivated. He will do absolutely anything for a treat—which means you can easily train him to do tricks, or just use biscuits to negotiate his help pulling you down the street (he's a strong boy who likes to work those leash muscles!).{C}
Friends and Family:
When it comes to other dogs, Felix is a total lady's man! He absolutely loves his canine girlfriends and prefers his four-legged companions to be female. He has also met some human kids and was wonderful and gentle with them. However, if your home includes a feline friend, Felix is going to have to pass. He thinks cats are a little too exciting, so a cat-free castle is a must.
If you are looking for a big, goofy cuddle bug to keep you warm this autumn, Felix is your guy!

28. Dasiy
Adult (6 years 11 months) · Female · Unknown breed (short coat) · 56 mi from Portland

Sweet Daisy is a survivor! She survived being shot and has shrapnel permanently imbedded in her nasal cavity. It doesn't bother her and there is nothing medically needed, however it does make her a VERY loud breather and snorer (listen to video). The only considerations for her are the same as a brachycephalic dog (smushed faces). Can over heat easir and need to watch her in heat and with over exercizing. She is very sweet, likes kids, cats, chicken, livestock and dogs if they are not rowdy. She gets annoyed with rowdy dogs but does not fight, sh's a lover not a fighter. She has also survived heartworm treatment like a champ! Daisy has bee in a rescue for over a year and is now ready for her forever home and family of her own.

Dan Dan is a very majestic dog. He's sweet, affectionate, and loyal.
He will attach to his family quickly and be protective.
He is a very good house guest, both house-trained and crate-trained, with zero accidents for the 11 days I had him. I was able to leave him out of his crate during the day and overnight with no problems at all.

She can be reactive to dogs on leash so environments like dog parks or day care will not be a good fit for her. She loves the other dogs she lives with in her home, but needs to build trust with any new dogs she encounters. She hasn't been around cats, but might do well with a dog-savvy cat in the home. Livie has been around children and is very sweet with them, but does better with older dog-savvy children who can read her cues and respect her space. She is shy around new people at first, but does well after a slow introduction. Her adopter should be prepared to advocate for her space in the home when meeting new human friends.This bright girl is very intelligent and food motivated, making her the perfect student. She is crate trained and house trained. She loves taking walks and zooming around a fenced in area. She is still working on her leash skills, but is sure to master that with consistency and training. She continues to blossom in her foster home and we know she will show her full potential with a family committed to continue her training. If you're looking for a nature loving pup who enjoys being the star of your show, then look no further than Livie! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Why adopt an adult dog in Portland
An adult dog's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are already house-trained.
Grown dogs need less supervision than puppies and often know the basics, like sitting and walking on a leash, which suits people who work or have young children.
