1. Marlo

Puppy (2 months 6 days) · Male · Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat)

Marlo and his two littermates were left by a stray mama dog near the house of a woman in Dulce. The mama dog was black and skinny and didn't look in good health and the woman thinks she may have died as she didn't return for them after the pups were about 10-14 days old. She bottle fed them with formula and kept them safe inside or on her patio until they were about 6-7 weeks old. She thinks a neighbor's Great Pyrenees may be the father, but there is no proof of this (though the pups do look like they could have GP in them).

Marlo loves to eat and knows how to cover the food bowl to keep sisters away. He is happy as a crab when company is near. His face is a bit longer than Sasha's.

4. Trey

Puppy (2 months 14 days) · Male · Unknown breed (short coat)

Young Trey was part of a litter of five puppies abandoned by a stray mom in a yard in Dulce, NM. We estimate the puppies were about 4-5 weeks old during the first week of September, 2026. The family cared for them the best they could and rehomed one pup, but were in and out of town for several weeks. Around October 8, the pups were taken in by another family in Dulce and were given first DAPP on October 17. This family kept one pup and we took the remaining three into foster on October 18. Trey is the only male of the three and has a little white spot on the back of his neck. All three will be altered on October 26 and ready for adoption a few days later.

Read more about Trey

Trey is somewhat more secure with a person than exploring too far afield. He likes his food and doesn't want to share, but understandable as they were a bit food deprived for a while. A sweet little tubby guy at the moment!
