About Chopper’s Breed:

Read more about Chopper

Our best guess is that Chopper is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mixed breed. Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes, often affectionately called "Chiweenies," are known for their loyal, loving personalities and big-dog confidence in a small package. They often combine the Chihuahua's devotion to their people with the Dachshund's playful, curious nature, creating a companion who loves both adventure and cuddle time. Chiweenies tend to form strong bonds with their families and are happiest when included in daily activities.

Their ideal home is one that provides plenty of companionship, gentle guidance, and regular opportunities for exercise and exploration. Many Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes enjoy daily walks, time spent outdoors, and cozy evenings snuggled up with their favorite people. They often thrive in homes that appreciate their affectionate nature and can provide a balance of activity, routine, and lots of love.

What to Love about Chopper:

Chopper is the definition of sweet and gentle. At 3 years old and 11 pounds, this handsome long-haired Chihuahua/Dachshund mix has a loving, sensitive soul and is happiest when he's close to his favorite people. Whether he's curled up in your lap, snuggled beside you on the couch, or soaking up pets and attention, Chopper's favorite place is wherever you are! He can be a little shy when meeting new people and may startle at loud noises or unfamiliar situations, but once he realizes he's safe, his happy, affectionate personality shines through.

Chopper has excellent house manners and is both potty trained and crate trained. Like some male dogs, he occasionally struggles with marking, but with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a predictable routine, he continues to make great progress. He's trustworthy when left out of his crate while you're away and is an easy, low-maintenance companion around the house.

One of Chopper's favorite things in the world is spending time outdoors. He loves exploring the yard, going for daily walks, and enjoying the fresh air, which is why a securely fenced yard is a must for him. He has a wonderful medium energy level, enjoying activity without being overly demanding. A few walks, some outdoor playtime, and plenty of cuddle sessions are all it takes to make this boy happy!

Chopper gets along beautifully with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for a resident pup, but he'd also be perfectly content as your one-and-only furry friend. He's also cat-friendly and currently lives peacefully with cats in his foster home. Due to his sensitive nature and tendency to startle easily, he would do best in a home with children ages 10 and older who can respect his need for a calm environment.

This lovable little guy is ready to leave his past behind and find a forever family of his own. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who loves walks, enjoys the outdoors, and has endless love to give, Chopper may be the perfect addition to your family. He's ready to spend his days by your side and shower you with all the love his big heart has to offer!

About Missy Jo’s Breed:

Read more about Missy Jo

Our best guess is that Missy Jo is a Chihuahua mixed breed. Chihuahua mixes like Missy Jo often thrive in homes that appreciate their loyal, companion-oriented nature. Chihuahuas are known for being devoted, affectionate companions who form strong bonds with their people. Despite their small size, they often have big personalities and enjoy being involved in their family's daily activities. Many Chihuahuas are happiest when they can spend plenty of time with their humans, whether that's cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or simply being close by.

What to Love about Missy Jo:

At just 8 months old and a tiny 6 pounds, Missy Jo is proof that the biggest hearts often come in the smallest packages! This adorable Chihuahua mix is looking for one thing above all else: love. After spending time as a stray, Missy Jo has discovered that people are her favorite thing in the world, and she'd happily spend every moment by your side if she could. Whether you're watching TV, reading a book, or working from home, she'll be right there, curled up in your lap or snuggled beside you, soaking up all the affection she can get.

Missy Jo is a sweet, gentle little girl who is well-behaved in the home and can be trusted loose in the house when her people are away. She may give a few cries when you leave because she loves her humans so much, but she settles in and patiently waits for you to come back. She's not destructive and simply wants reassurance that her family is coming home to her. With time, consistency, and the security of a forever home, her confidence will continue to blossom.

Despite being a puppy, Missy Jo has a surprisingly laid-back personality. She's lower energy than most pups her age and would much rather cuddle than spend the day bouncing off the walls. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion to keep her company, though she's equally happy being the center of attention as an only dog. She hasn't had the chance to meet cats yet but is open to a proper introduction.

Missy Jo is about 95% potty trained and continues to do well with a consistent schedule and routine. She's crate trained, although she'd much prefer being close to her people, and she's making great progress with her leash skills too. She loves everyone she meets and would do best with respectful children ages 10 and up due to her tiny size and delicate frame.

If you're looking for a loving little shadow who will adore you with her whole heart, Missy Jo may be your perfect match. She's soft, sweet, affectionate, and ready to spend a lifetime by your side. Her dream home includes cozy laps, plenty of snuggles, and maybe even a spot in the big bed at night. Most of all, Missy Jo is ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for and finally live her very best life!

3. Nemo

Young · Male · German Shepherd Dog / Mixed · 44 mi from Fayetteville

COURTESY POST !!! DO NOT APPLY TO RUSTY'S PLEASE APPLY HERE: Adoption Application Form https://share.google/UBQ9UhYNIlUmPIGtI HELP US FIND NEMO HIS HAPPY ENDING! Our sweet boy Nemo is just a couple of weeks away from graduating from his SIX-WEEK BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAM, and we have one very important thing left to accomplish. WE NEED TO FIND HIM A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME! Nemo has spent the last several weeks working incredibly hard to become the best version of himself. He's learned obedience, built confidence, improved his social skills, and made some truly amazing progress. But there's one thing we can't teach him in training.

Read more about Nemo

What it feels like to have a home of his very own. Nemo is an incredibly intelligent, affectionate, active boy who bonds deeply with his people. Once you're his person, you're HIS person, and he will absolutely adore you. He's also got a few quirks, and we want to be completely transparent about what his perfect home looks like. Children 15 and older: Nemo does best with people who understand boundaries and can respect his personal space. No small animals: While Nemo does well with other dogs, smaller animals aren't a good fit for him. Dog friendly: With proper introductions, Nemo enjoys other dogs! He has a particularly funny fascination with black, fluffy dogs. Apparently, our handsome boy has a type! A quieter household: Nemo would thrive in a home with a predictable routine, a little peace and quiet, and people he can build a strong relationship with. An active family: Hiking, running, exploring, and outdoor adventures? Nemo would LOVE that! He's a smart, energetic boy who enjoys having things to do. Supervised outdoor time: Nemo is quite the talented fence climber! Although his recall has improved tremendously, he still needs supervision and secure handling outdoors. Continued respect for his boundaries: Nemo has made wonderful progress with meeting new people and navigating public environments. He just needs strangers to approach appropriately and give him a chance to feel comfortable. AND THE BEST PART? NEMO COMES WITH LIFETIME TRAINING SUPPORT! We're not simply handing Nemo over with a list of commands and wishing everyone good luck. His new family will receive: Lifetime refresher training sessions Help from his trainer during his transition into his new home Guidance on maintaining his obedience and continuing his progress Support to help Nemo and his new family build a wonderful relationship We have invested six weeks into helping Nemo succeed, and we're committed to making sure that success continues long after graduation. Now, here's the part that breaks our hearts. Nemo does not do well in a traditional boarding environment. He struggles emotionally, becomes withdrawn, and simply isn't the same happy, affectionate dog we see when he's able to spend time with people and participate in everyday life. We've watched him blossom throughout his training. We've seen his personality shine, his confidence grow, and his ability to navigate the world improve. The thought of him finishing all this hard work only to return to a kennel is absolutely devastating. Nemo deserves to graduate into a HOME, not back into boarding. He doesn't need a perfect family. He needs the right family. Someone patient. Someone active. Someone who appreciates a dog with a big personality, a huge heart, and a few little quirks. Someone who understands that rescue dogs aren't always perfect, but they are absolutely worth the effort. And if you're not quite ready to adopt? FOSTERING NEMO WOULD BE JUST AS INCREDIBLE! Giving him somewhere comfortable to land while we search for his forever family would mean the world to us and, more importantly, to Nemo. NEMO'S NEXT CHAPTER IS WAITING! 6. Stefan

Adult (2 years) · Male · Airedale Terrier / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed (medium coat) · 38 mi from Fayetteville

Hi there! I’m Stefan, a 2-year-old Airedale Terrier, and yes, I’m a tripod. But if you think that’s going to stop me from living my best life, you clearly haven’t met me yet!

I may be missing a leg, but I’m not missing a single bit of that big terrier personality. I’m ready for adventures, fun, and all the love my forever family has to offer. After all, being a tripod is just one little detail about me. It doesn’t define who I am!

My story began in a place no dog should ever have to call home.

I was one of more than 20 dogs rescued from a puppy mill in South Carolina, and when I arrived, I was in heartbreaking shape.

Read more about Stefan

The world is still a scary place for me. I’m learning that people can be kind, that gentle hands can bring comfort, and that life can be so much more than simply surviving. I may be shut down right now, but deep inside, there is a little dog who deserves to feel safe, loved, and cherished.

Thanks to Pawfect Match, I finally have a chance to discover what it means to be a dog. My healing will take time, patience, and understanding, but dogs are remarkably resilient, and I’m proof that even the most wounded hearts can begin to heal. I just need someone willing to give me a chance, meet me where I am, and help me discover the beautiful life I’ve always deserved.

7. Charlie

Adult (7 years) · Male · Dachshund / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (short coat) · 38 mi from Fayetteville

Charlie is a sweet little Dachshund mix who came from a breeder surrender, and he’s ready to discover just how wonderful life can be outside that world.

His idea of a perfect day? You, a cozy lap, and a good movie or book. He’s perfectly happy snuggling for hours, as long as he can be close to his favorite human. Honestly, personal space is not really his thing!

Read more about Charlie

Charlie is a quiet, well-mannered little gentleman. He’s non-destructive, sleeps peacefully all night in his crate (as long as it’s in the room with his people), and is an absolute star for grooming. Put his harness on the floor, and he’ll even step right into it like the polite little fellow he is!

He’s learning to explore the big world outside, but for now, he’d much rather keep his walks close to you. He gets along with other dogs with slow, proper introductions, and he has one very important weakness: CHEESE. The way to Charlie’s heart may very well be through the cheese drawer.

Charlie is looking for a loving home where he can be someone’s little shadow, cuddle buddy, and loyal companion. If you’ve been dreaming of a dog who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Charlie might just be your perfect match!

12. Winnie

Adult (2 years) · Female · Wheaten Terrier / Schnauzer (long coat) · 49 mi from Fayetteville

Winnie has no idea that she’s special — but she is. To her, she’s just a happy, playful dog living her best life. Winnie was born with a cerebellum that didn’t fully develop in utero, a condition believed to be cerebellar hypoplasia. This affects her balance and gives her a uniquely wobbly, slightly unsteady way of walking. It doesn’t cause her pain, and it certainly doesn’t dim her spirit. Winnie is, without question, the happiest dog her foster family has ever met.

Read more about Winnie

For the most part, Winnie is a normal dog: she plays, she explores, she loves her people, and she radiates joy. She simply needs a family willing to love and care for her exactly as she is — wobbles and all.

Winnie would thrive in a home with another gentle dog her size or larger who can play with her, keep her company, and help her feel secure. She adores canine friends and blossoms with companionship.

Winnie is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives, has been spayed, and is microchipped. Any children in the home should be at least 8 years of age. She also requires a fenced in yard, physical fencing attached to the home

Winnie doesn’t know she’s different — she only knows she’s loved. If you’re looking for a dog who will brighten your home with pure happiness and endless heart, Winnie may be the perfect match.

13. Ernest

Adult (3 years) · Male · Terrier / Dachshund / Mixed (medium coat) · 49 mi from Fayetteville

Ernest is an approximately 3‑year‑old sweetheart with a calm, affectionate nature and a touch of playful confidence. He has an absolutely adorable little underbite that makes him look like he’s smiling all the time, and it suits his gentle, goofy charm perfectly. He can be a bit bossy with dogs who don’t like to listen, but in a home with well‑mannered canine companions, he settles in beautifully.

Read more about Ernest

When Ernest first arrived in foster care, he wanted to be close to his people without actually touching. With patience and reassurance, he has blossomed into a cuddler. He’ll happily stretch out on your chest for a bit before sliding over to relax right beside you. His foster family has loved watching him learn that affection is safe and comforting.

Ernest enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home, and he will do best in a home with at least one friendly canine companion. He thrives with dogs who are kind, confident, and not easily pushed around.

Ernest is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives, has been microchipped, and is neutered. Because of his coat type, he will require regular professional grooming, and his ideal family will have experience with maintaining a dog who needs consistent coat care.

Ernest is a gentle, loving boy who’s ready for a family that will continue helping him grow in confidence and enjoy the comfort of companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet dog with a tender heart, a playful spirit, and a smile that never quits, Ernest may be the perfect addition to your home.

They are generally friendly, adaptable, and enjoy a balance of playtime and relaxation.

The ideal home for a Shih Tzu is one where they can be included as part of the family and receive plenty of attention. What to Love about Lexi:

Lexi is searching for a forever home alongside her beloved brother, Kiba. These two share a special bond and are hoping to find a family willing to open their hearts to both of them.
Lexi may be a little shy when meeting new people, and she can be somewhat skittish in unfamiliar situations. She is the kind of dog who likes to take her time getting to know you. But if you're patient, gentle, and let her move at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with one of the most loyal companions imaginable. Once Lexi trusts you, she forms a deep bond and is happiest simply being near her people!

While she was initially timid around men, Lexi has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident every day. She tends to be more of an observer than the center of attention, but she still enjoys playtime and isn't afraid to communicate her feelings with other dogs. As the confident leader type, Lexi has a bit of an alpha female personality, but never in an aggressive way. She's simply a great communicator who gets along wonderfully with other dogs!

Lexi is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has a moderate energy level that makes her a great balance of playful and relaxed. She is not crate trained and would much rather spend her time close to her family. In fact, being left alone for long periods isn't her favorite thing. Lexi can become sad when separated from her people for too long, so she would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day.

She's also met children on outings and has done well, especially when kids understand that slow introductions are best. Give Lexi a chance to sniff and get comfortable, and she'll happily accept new friends. She has not yet been tested with cats.

Lexi is looking for a family that understands that trust isn't rushed, it's earned. If you're willing to give her patience, kindness, and the security she craves, she'll reward you with unwavering devotion. Along with her best friend and brother Kiba by her side, Lexi is ready to find the loving home she's been waiting for!

19. Poodlie

Adult (5 years) · Female · Poodle (Miniature) / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed (short coat) · 38 mi from Fayetteville

Meet Poodlie.

She has lived through the horrors of a puppy mill, and now she is slowly, quietly discovering that the world can be a beautiful place after all.

Little by little, Poodlie is learning what it means to be a dog. She recently discovered one of life’s simple pleasures: sitting next to her human on the couch, watching TV. And she absolutely loves spending time outside, sitting beside her person, taking in the fresh air and quietly contemplating the world around her.

Poodlie isn’t asking for much. Just a safe place, a kind human, and the time she needs to figure out that life can be gentle.

20. Pippen

Adult (1 year 2 months) · Male · Golden Retriever / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed (medium coat) · 38 mi from Fayetteville

Meet Pippen! He is about 1 year old and fully trained for all basic commands. This is one awesome dog. If I was able to keep him, I would. He's too big for my house, and keeping him would prevent me from helping other dogs find their furever homes. So, I won't and truly can't keep him. He's a true family dog, and would do just great with an active family who has the time for him. He is full of puppy energy, but he can also chill and sleep calmly for hours on a couch or in his crate. He is the perfect age of 'still puppy but all the hard puppy work has already been taken care of.'

Read more about Pippen

He is fully house trained, and even when he needs to go potty, he holds it until he is let outside. Truth be told, he's shocked me at how he's been able to avoid having accidents in the house.

He is very loyal, obedient, and eager to please his people. He knows his commands and listens to them. Pippen reliably comes on recall, sleeps independently in his crate, and is a very quick learner. We have crate trained Pippen in the time we've had him. Pippen is a very smart boy. He walks well on a leash, and he potties quickly while walking outside. He is great with other dogs of all sizes and plays with them well. He plays with smaller dogs with care and while he's full speed ahead, he is also cautious when playing. He visibly slows himself down when around older dogs who are not quite full of the spunk and drive that he has as a puppy.

Pippen

does well with children

. He loves people and prefers to be close to his family. He does okay alone, however, it’s clear that he really likes to be around others. He rarely barks. If he is making noise, it's worth checking out because something's off. He is a sweet boy and he loves to play fetch with a stick. He also plays tug of war with other dogs or people. When out for a walk, he likes to try and greet other dogs but is redirected easily. This guy is so deserving of a family who will give him as much love as he has to give others. He is a happy ray of sunlight in our lives and I know he'd be that for another family, too. Check him out and adopt him today!

About Jimmy’s Breed:
Jimmy is a Poodle/Mini Australian Shepherd mix. Poodle/Mini Australian Shepherd mixes, often called Mini Aussiedoodles, are known for being intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs. They tend to form strong bonds with their families and enjoy being involved in daily activities, whether that's going for walks, learning new things, playing outside, or curling up for cuddle time.

Because they are a mix of two smart, active breeds, they thrive in homes that can provide both mental stimulation and regular exercise. Their ideal home includes a family that enjoys spending time with their dog, offers consistent training and structure, and provides opportunities for outdoor activities. Many also love having a safely fenced yard where they can run and explore, but their greatest happiness comes from being with their people and feeling like part of the family.

What to Love about Jimmy:
This sweet, affectionate boy thrives on attention and is happiest when he's curled up in a warm lap, enjoying pets from his favorite people. He also loves walks, chew toys, and spending time outdoors.

Having spent his life in the country with a large fenced yard, Jimmy is adjusting well to city life in his Raleigh foster home. He's making great progress with all the new sights and sounds of neighborhood living and enjoys several walks each day. An energetic little guy, his foster family affectionately calls him a "kangaroo" because he loves to jump and play, though he's just as happy taking a nap or relaxing by your side!

Jimmy is potty trained, crate trained, and has excellent house manners. He does experience some separation anxiety, so he'd love a family that's home more often and can help him continue building confidence. While he may bark when meeting new people, he settles quickly and eagerly accepts all the affection he can get.

Jimmy has always lived with his more confident dad and has generally taken a submissive role. Because of this, we think he may truly thrive as an only dog where he can blossom and find his own way in the world. He may also do well with another dog after a proper meet-and-greet. Jimmy has lived with cats and does great with them, and he's been wonderful with the children he's met, including a 3-year-old.

A fenced yard isn't required, but Jimmy would love one! Running, playing, and exploring outdoors are some of his favorite things. He's looking for a loving family that will give him plenty of companionship, cuddles, and opportunities to continue growing into the confident, happy dog he's meant to be!

Jimmy’s Jazzy Highlights:
• 3-year-old Poodle/Mini Australian Shepherd mix weighing approximately 15 pounds.
• Loves attention, cuddles, and lap time and is happiest close to his people.
• Enjoys daily walks, chew toys, and outdoor adventures.
• Potty trained and crate trained with excellent house manners.
• Has lived with cats and gets along well with feline friends.
• Has done great meeting children, including a 3-year-old child.
• Experiences some separation anxiety, so he would love a family that is home more often.
• A playful, energetic pup nicknamed "Kangaroo" because he loves to jump and bounce around.
• May thrive as an only dog, where he can build confidence and shine on his own, though he may do well with another dog after a meet-and-greet.
• Would love a fenced yard where he can run, play, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle he grew up with.

Read more about Maple

About Maple’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Maple is a Chihuahua mixed breed. A Chihuahua mix is a small dog with a big, expressive personality, often blending the Chihuahua’s loyalty and alertness with the softness, playfulness, or curiosity of whatever breed they’re mixed with. They tend to be affectionate, people focused companions who love being part of daily life — whether that’s playing, exploring, or curling up for cuddles.

Their ideal home is one that offers steady companionship, patience, and a calm, loving environment. Because they’re small and can be a bit sensitive, they do best with families who enjoy engaging a smart, social pup and can provide consistent training and positive socialization. They’re often happiest in homes where they can feel safe, included, and adored — whether that’s with adults, respectful kids, or other friendly pets. A predictable routine, soft encouragement, and plenty of affection help them shine.

What to Love about Maple:
Maple delivered her six puppies in the shelter before coming into rescue, and now that her babies are weaned, this sweetheart is finally ready to find a forever home of her own. Maple is a super sweet, affectionate small dog who adores her foster family and has a playful spark that reminds you she’s still just a young girl herself! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs (she would love to have a playmate in her forever home) and has been great with younger kids too. Sometimes she can feel a little unsure when meeting new people — especially those wearing hats or hoodies — but with gentle reassurance, she warms up quickly and shows her loving, loyal nature.

Maple is both playful and easygoing, with a medium energy level and a more submissive temperament. She enjoys romping in a fenced yard, and because she loves the outdoors and running so much - she will need a fenced yard at her forever home too! She loves taking walks and is good on a leash. She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and absolutely loves her food — a slow feeder bowl may help her avoid inhaling her meals in ten seconds flat! Maple hasn’t met cats yet but would be open to a gentle meet and greet. Whether she joins a home with doggie siblings or becomes your one and only, Maple is ready to bring warmth, sweetness, and devotion to her new family.

Apply to meet this darling girl — we know you won’t be able to help falling in love!

30. Vannah

Adult (5 years) · Female · Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) · 10 mi from Fayetteville

Vannah is a 5-year-old, 22-pound Chihuahua mix with a big personality, a bigger heart, and a loyal streak a mile wide!

Quick Facts:

Name: Vannah
Breed: Chihuahua
Age: 5 years old
Weight: 22 lbs.
House-Trained: Yes
Crate-Trained: No, she doesn’t like being crated
Good with Dogs: Select dogs (she would do best as the only dog in a home but has been ok with more submissive playmates)
Good with Cats: Not tested (but open to a meet and greet)
Good with Kids: Not tested (likely ok with teenagers, but not younger children)
Energy Level: Medium
Fence Required: No
Dog's Location: Knightdale, NC

Read more about Vannah

Medical Notes:
Vannah takes gabapentin daily for pain in her spine due to lumbar spondylosis (arthritis) from a previous back injury. Because of the pain she doesn’t always like to be picked up and may growl to let you know she is uncomfortable or in pain. She is also on Solliquin twice daily.

About Vannah's Breed:

Our best guess is that Vannah is a Chihuahua mixed breed. Chihuahuas are tiny, expressive companion dogs known for their big personalities, deep loyalty, and strong attachment to their favorite humans. They often bond closely with one or two people, enjoying warmth, cuddles, and staying tucked right by their person’s side. While they can be a bit timid or cautious with new people or environments, they flourish with gentle handling, patience, and consistent reassurance.

Their ideal home is one that offers calm routines, soft voices, and a slow, respectful pace. Chihuahuas thrive with families who understand small dog sensitivities, provide plenty of lap time, and keep them safe from rough play or large, overwhelming pets. They do especially well in quieter households, with adults or older children who know how to move gently around tiny dogs.

What to Love about Vannah:

If you've ever dreamed of having a best friend who wants to be involved in every moment of your day, Vannah is ready to apply for the position. From following you from room to room to supervising bathroom breaks, this sweet girl believes that life is simply better when spent together!

Vannah is the perfect combination of independent and devoted. She's not much of a lap dog, but she absolutely wants to be near her people. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch, perched proudly on the back of it keeping watch, or snoozing in a dog bed near your desk while you work, she's happiest when she's close to her favorite humans. At bedtime, Vannah fully expects to continue her job as your loyal companion by sleeping in bed right next to you.
This food-loving girl is highly motivated by snacks and has an impressive nose for finding them. Garbage cans should be secure, counters should be kept clear, and unattended snacks should be considered fair game in Vannah's world! Fortunately, her love of treats also makes her easy to reward and engage with.

Vannah enjoys walks, loves being outside, and is wonderful on a leash. She would be thrilled to have a fenced yard where she could explore and relax outdoors, although it's not a requirement. She also loves car rides and will happily hop right in, especially if she gets to safely enjoy the breeze with her head out the window.

Vannah is fully potty trained and will even use a potty pad if necessary, though she'd much rather do her business outside. Just don't stand too close behind her because she proudly kicks up her back legs after potty breaks!

While she doesn't enjoy being crated or otherwise restricted, Vannah has excellent house manners and prefers simply staying close to her people. She does experience some separation anxiety, so she's looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. A retired person, work-from-home family, or home with a flexible schedule would be ideal.
She does bark when she’s lonely, so a home without shared walls is best.

Vannah gets along with other dogs as long as they are easygoing and allow her to take the lead. She especially enjoys playing with submissive dogs, but dogs th

Why adopt an adult dog in Fayetteville

An adult dog's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are already house-trained.

Grown dogs need less supervision than puppies and often know the basics, like sitting and walking on a leash, which suits people who work or have young children.
