I am a handsome 2 year old brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to my family moving and my breed not being allowed. I am described as friendly, active, noisy, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I currently live with an older lab but am said to be dog friendly with dogs of all sizes. I currently live with cats and because I don't know personal space, they don't want to play with me. I currently live with 3 kids (ages 19 month to 13 years) and am gentle with the baby and like to play rough with the older kids.

I'm a happy guy and have only met one person I didn't like out of the many people I have been around! I am house trained, crate trained, and can be picky with some of my favorite food depending on the day. At night I sleep with the kid or in the kennel with the other dog. I don't do well sleeping alone and will cry and scratch at the kennel if left by myself to sleep. If the humans must be away, I will cry and bark in the crate and will chew on the furniture if left to roam. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am scared of water, baths, being alone, and being left outside too long due to having a heat stroke in the past. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, chewing on toys, playing fetch, toys, being outside, cuddles, love, smiling when I want something, hitting the humans with my paws when I want something, nudge and paw the food container when it's time to eat, being in the human's lap, and dog treats! I am a beautiful 4 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owner getting divorced, selling their home, and unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, active, playful, and affectionate! I grew up with another boxer, tiny terrier, and a frenchie and am said to be dog friendly with them. I recently met a senior dog and I wanted to be the boss of her and could benefit from more training, especially since I'm eager to please! There are three kids in the home (ages 12-18 years) and have had all ages around me and am said to be kid friendly! I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and sleep in my crate or on the dog bed at night. If the humans must be away, I have a little separation anxiety when left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates and am pet gate trained! I am a beautiful 7.5 year old fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the other dog in the home and for everyone's safety I need to find a home of my own. I am described as friendly, smart, protective, playful, affectionate, and nervous! It should be mentioned I have some hip dysplasia, TPLO on my rear left leg, and FHO on my right rear leg, but I do not let it slow me down! I do not get along with the other dog in my home but am said to get along with other dogs at doggy daycare and boarding.

I currently live with cats and we are said to get along well! Sometimes we snuggle and I like to playfully chase them off if they drink from my water. I currently live with a 14 year old kid and my owner says I would do best with older kids. When new people come in the home I will bark at them because I am protective of my humans. I am house trained, crate trained, eat Royal Canin Boxer food, and sleep on the couch or human bed at night. If the humans must be away, I have learned to calm myself and will mostly sleep awaiting their arrival. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. When scolded I cower and get very scared so positive reinforcement works great for me! I'm fearful of thunderstorms and I do need anxiety meds when experiencing new things or during stressful situations. I love riding in the car, greenies, bully sticks, belly and neck scratches, following the humans around when cleaning or doing yardwork, and staring at the humans intensely until they give in to what I want! I am a handsome 6 year old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my family having a baby and moving into an apartment with no yard. I am described as friendly, active, and playful! I do not currently live with another dog but am said to be good around female dogs and unknown how I am with male dogs. I live with two cats and I am great with them! I will chase them but once I can tell they aren't playing anymore I will walk away. I currently live with 3 kids (ages 9 month to 4 years) and I am good with them, however I do not know my size and will accidentally knock over a smaller child if playing, but I mean no harm! I will bark at unfamiliar people in my home, especially if in my crate, but once I see my humans interacting with them I am fine.

I enjoy toppings such as eggs, blueberries, and fish oil toppings on my food. If the humans must be away I am kept outside or in my crate during hot weather. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing fetch, sniff boards with hidden treats, and playing with the water hose! I may be one of the most patient dogs you’ll ever meet! I sit through baths and medical care like a champ, never fussing — just trusting. Sure, I’m a quick learner too. I even picked up a hand signal for “sit” in a single day!
Despite everything I’ve been through in my short life, I’m unbelievably sweet. I melt under the smallest pet, lean into affection, and remain incredibly trusting even though life hasn’t always been kind.
I truly just want love, and I’ll do anything for it. I can provide a lifetime of love with my adoption, but honestly, I’m like clay — eager, adaptable, and ready to fit into just about any home.

I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owners having life changes and busy schedules. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I am partially blind in one eye and have stiff back legs when I lie down in one place too long but I do not let that slow me down! I have lived with three dogs, four cats and kittens, chickens, baby chicks, and goats and am animal friendly! I seem to love dogs and cats seem to gravitate towards me. There are three kids in my home (ages 6 months-13 years) and I am good with them and other children that visit the home! I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in the entryway room with a jumbo memory foam bed.

When the humans are away, I am not crated and am not destructive and will stay in an area if it is blocked off. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am afraid of loud noises, thunder, and fireworks. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, staying in the a/c when it's hot outside, belly rubs, hugs, treats, light walks, sleep, and getting love! Bringing a dog home to your cat
Tell the rescue about your cat: their age and how they react to dogs. A dog who has lived calmly with one cat may still want to chase a cat that runs.
Introduce them slowly. Keep them apart for the first few days and swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, then let them meet with the dog on a leash, rewarding calm behavior.
Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, like a high shelf or a room behind a baby gate, and keep the litter box and cat food out of the dog's way.
