Scrappy needs a home with a private yard until he's fully vaccinated - no apartment living or dog parks for now.

Meet Jack-O! Jack-O is an approximately 4 month old male Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix who was found by Yellowjacket Park in Rockwall on 09/25/26. Jack-O was never reclaimed during his stray hold and is now available for adoption. Since he is still new to the facility, we are continuing to get to know him and do not yet know how he does with other dogs, cats, or children. What we do know is that Jack-O is a very sweet boy who loves attention, affection, and a good cuddle. We think he is a Great Pyrenees and possibly German Shepherd mix (due to his big ears that stand upright at times). He currently weighs around 50lbs, we think he will grow up to be around 70-80lbs.

Mongo loves being near his people and dog friends. He can be too rough with little kids but would be fine with older children. He does well meeting new people on outings. He enjoys getting pets and sleeping near his 'pack'.
