I am a six-month-old Australian Cattle Dog and am looking for a family that can help me navigate this big world. I am still a little nervous with new sounds and things, but after the initial shock of new sights, I leap headfirst with excitement. I am learning quickly what I can and can't rush into. For example, I know I can't rush at the cat, and now we are nice playful pals, but I can rush towards the ball and play fetch! I am really fast in the backyard and love to run around with other dogs. I also love the support of humans as I learn so many new things!
I am learning some basics, like leash training, sit, off, and come. I definitely need to keep learning because I get pets and treats when I do. It also helps me use up energy and use my mind, which is important for me since I have a lot of energy and am pretty smart. I really like other dogs, but since this is all new to me, I need my own space for my toys and food at home. I love my kennel and only bark in there if I need to alert people to a frightening presence, like the mailman. I would do well as an only dog or with others, or even with a dog-savvy cat! Although I am a puppy and like to hop around, I am still a softy at heart and would do well with kids.

I have figured out the routine here in my foster home and I sleep quietly through the night in my kennel. I love playing with the other dogs and I am even learning to play with toys but my favorite is chewing on the bones.

Add in his super cool, unique coloring, and you’ve got one seriously distinctive pup!

Bonzai is happiest when he’s with his humans. He absolutely loves greeting you when you come home and will be ready to make you feel like you’ve been gone forever—even if it’s only been a few minutes! He loves head rubs, hanging out with the family for movie time, going for walks, and even getting out for a hike. Basically, if his people are there, Bonzai is happy!
He is fantastic with other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. He has also done really well with kids of all ages. Bonzai can be a little shy when he first meets someone, but give him a few yummy treats and a little time, and he warms right up. We haven’t seen any aggression from him toward people or other animals.
Bonzai is house trained and dog-door trained, and we think he’ll be a wonderful fit for just about any type of family. He’s still learning that the leash is supposed to be his friend, so he could use a little more leash work, but he’s young and learning!
We don’t expect Bonzai to get much bigger than about 50 pounds full grown, making him a great size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between.

At approximately 10 years old, Swann has earned every bit of her queen status. She’s a strong-willed, snorty, snoring, slightly bossy English Bulldog who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to let you know it. Honestly, her “I’m in charge here” attitude is half the entertainment!

Swann weighs about 44 pounds, but if you ever need to move her when she doesn’t feel like moving, you’ll swear she weighs 100! And don’t even think about eating without her supervision. She will stare directly into your soul, hoping to intimidate you into sharing a bite. Treats? She accepts all forms of payment, including the healthy veggies!
This sweet girl has been through a lot in her life. Before coming to Rescue Rovers, she had to have one eye removed after her eyeball ruptured. Her body also tells the story of a girl who has had many litters of puppies. Now, her foster family wants nothing more than to see her find a home where she can finally be treated like the queen she is. We’re talking red carpets, royal treatment, endless affection, and absolutely no more working for a living!
Swann’s idea of a perfect day? A whole lot of napping, cuddling with her humans, and being close to the people she loves. She may need a few extra minutes to wake up in the morning before she’s ready to face the world, but can you blame a queen for needing her beauty rest?
She is mostly house-trained, dog-door trained, and great with other dogs. She prefers cuddling with her furry friends over rough-and-tumble play, so she’s definitely more of a “let’s lounge together” kind of girl.
