Paige was surrendered to the local animal shelter when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is the mama to our puppies Macaroni, Casserole and Butter Bean. Paige is currently going through heartworm treatment and will be healthy, fully up to date on vaccinations and microchipped so she can find her forever home veryt soon. Paige is amazingly sweet and loves to be around people. Here is what we know so far:> great with all people, young/old, man/woman> does get along well with other dogs> does do well with cats> loves toys and some good zoomies around the house and yard> loves car rides / is a great passenger> no problems with bath or nail trims> she does well on the leash and doesn't pull hard but will need some more training to stop zick-zacking in front of your feet> couch cuddles? yes please!Paige does entertain herself well with a couple toys so we think a home with our without dogs, either one is fine.

Macaroni, like the noodle dish he is named after, is a goofy guy who exudes warmth, love, and wholesomeness. If it’s not his playful puppy antics making you laugh, his ears certainly will. They have been voted the best ears by the volunteers, and each seems to have a mind of their own. We’re hoping he’ll grow into them; but even if he doesn’t, they’ll still be great!
Mac’s favorite things are playing and laying in your lap to be held like a baby. That is also his favorite napping position, which comes in close as a favorite thing to do when he’s not frolicking around. He’s definitely a #1 snuggle buddy! Mac gets along great with other dogs, cats, and all people. Everyone is his friend! He also knows the basic commands of ‘sit’ and ‘down’; a very smart dude, just like his brothers.
And one of his cutest features? He’s a talker! He loves to let you know exactly what he’s thinking, and to know what you’re thinking in return. He’s affectionate, fun, and full of personality—an all-around wonderful puppy looking for his forever home.

3. Butter Bean
Say hello to Butter Bean!
Affectionately called “Bean” for short, he is a typical puppy; playful, full of energy, and a total heartthrob. He might sometimes remind you of a ‘jumping’ Bean, with his big energy and zest for life. He loves a good game of tug, wrestling with his brothers and friends, and would surely love a good hike or two.

He is house and crate trained (he goes into his crate on command), and gets along with everyone; dogs, cats, and humans of all ages and sizes. He has yet to meet a stranger, and loves to be in the middle of all the action. While he may be the smallest of the litter, he is just as big as his brothers when it comes to love, adventure, and a good time. Equally to his love for play he easily settles down for quiet time to chew on his bone or to snuggle up and adore his humans while watching TV.
Bean rides well in the car, and is doing great with his leash training and learning his basic commands. He already knows “sit”, "down", "come" and “drop it”! He also LOVES a good bath. Maybe he’d be into a visit to a lake or pond? As long as it’s with you, he surely wouldn’t mind.

Meet our fun-loving and spirited staffy mix, Fendi!
Fendi is about 2 yrs old and is a medium sized dog at 56 pounds. She was found as a stray and taken to the local shelter. Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.
As a young dog, she has lots of energy and loves walking, hiking, and playing fetch with her favorite ball or toy. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn. Fendi completed a three-week training program with

5. Mocha
Meet our fun-loving and spirited black lab mix Mocha!
Mocha is about 18 months old and is a medium-sized dog at 52 pounds. She was surrendered to a local shelter where Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to take her in and offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions.
As a young dog, Mocha is a highly energetic and loves going on long walks, hikes, and playing fetch with her favorite ball and toys. She’s a well behaved, incredibly smart girl who is eager to learn and already knows several commands.

Mocha gets along well with other dogs but needs to be paired with an equally energetic dog. She loves to play and zoom around the backyard with other dogs. After playtime, she’s just as happy curling up next to you on the sofa for some quiet cuddle time.
She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes a loving companion. Mocha is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines.
Mocha will do best homed with another energetic dog. She is good with older children who can keep her busy playing, She is vocal, especially when left alone. She requires a yard to run and frequent walks as well.

Born August 30, Odin is a charming little pup with a fantastic personality and a bright, curious spirit! Currently being fostered by a professional trainer, he is already earning nothing but high praise for his wonderful temperament and all-around potential.

eet Buster, a nine-year-old 17-pound Pomeranian, who was rehomed through no fault of his own. His owner, who was moving into a retirement home and couldn’t take him, was trying to rehome him in a shelter parking lot because the shelter was full. A volunteer saw this happening and stepped in to offer Buster a place in our rescue. This gorgeous little boy is very friendly with people and other dogs. Buster enjoys walks and exploring the fenced yard in his foster home. He also likes car rides and eagerly awaits the opportunity to hop in. But mostly, Buster enjoys hanging out with his people, gazing adoringly at them with his big brown eyes. Buster is an all-around good boy who will make a loyal and loving companion.
Buster is UTD on vaccines and heartworm testing. He was recently neutered and received a full dental cleaning. Buster has a mild heart condition that is being well managed with inexpensive daily medication but is otherwise very healthy. This special boy deserves to have a forever home where he will always be loved and cared for.

9. Betty
This little girl was left at a short-staffed, over-crowded shelter and was on the euthanasia list. Because she was pregnant, staff made a hard push to get her out as they could not safely deliver her pups in the shelter. She is now in a foster home at AFH where she can deliver her pups in a warm, loving home. This sweet girl is friendly, loving and calm. She is OK with other dogs and a bit shy, but warms up quickly. Blue loves people, enjoys children, and gets along well with other dogs.
