the perfect blend of mild energy and gentle sweetness. From the

through—he loves people of all ages and gets along beautifully
with children, adults, other dogs, and even cats.
This smart boy is eager to please and already knows his basic
commands like sit and down. He walks wonderfully on a leash

2. Jack Lemmon
Meet Jack Lemmon! This adorable, sweet, and affectionate rat terrier mix is about 5 years old and weighs 14 pounds.
Jack and his doggy sibling became Angels after their original owners were no longer able to care for them. Both pups are now safe in foster homes while they wait for their next furever homes.
Jack’s foster mom says he is incredibly sweet and loves to be near his people. Watching TV? Jack is cuddled right beside you on the couch. Bedtime? He’ll curl up on a nearby pillow. His fur is incredibly soft, and he loves a good head rub.

Jack is used to living with another dog and gets along well with the other small dogs in his foster home. He’s still settling into his new surroundings, but he is almost fully potty trained and is comfortable in a crate when his foster mom runs errands.

Meet Milo Munchkin (Milo)! He's a 1 year old, 29 pound, neutered, Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi Mix with the most adorable half-mast set of ears. He is crated trained and potty trained (did have a couple accidents the first few days). He is excellent with other dogs and people.
His personality is smart, fun, and curious! He's happiest chasing his foster fur brother and chilling on the top of the couch where he can keep an eye on all that's going on in the house.

Whisper Wren is true to her name - a tiny, sweet shadow who rarely barks and just loves to be close.
At 10 pounds, this 3-year-old terrier mix is the perfect size for lap sitting, couch cuddling, and carrying her favorite toys around the house. She is house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a quiet companion who is happy to just be with her person.
Whisper is looking for a home where she can be your one-and-only. She adores having your full attention and can get jealous of other dogs, so she would likely do best as the only dog in the home.

Say hello to sweet Marie Osmond. She is a 7 pound, 4 - 6 year old, long haired chihuahua. Marie is house and crate trained. She is an absolute cuddle bug with off the charts cuteness. Between her wiggle butt and underbite, Marie invokes numerous smiles.
Marie is good with other dogs and kids. She is also good on a leash and enjoys walks. She loves to be held and if you have an available lap, she will be in it.
Since Marie is so tiny, she would probably do best in a quieter home with no or older children.

Somehow I ended up in a local shelter. I remember my story, but since my rescue, I'm loving life! I got my teeth cleaned and was all checked out. I love to eat and am motivated by FOOD! Treats please! And I ADORE tummy rubs and snuggles. Car rides are fun too; I like the window cracked so i can use my smell-o-vision.
I'm basically a quiet dog (ssshhh) unless someone's walking outside, then I think I'm a huge, fierce protector. I'm pretty low energy (aka couch potato) and am a loyal shadow, neither demanding nor destructive. I follow my foster mom everywhere and sleep deeply on a comfy bed at night. I dream of my furever home.
I give my heart fully and completely. I can be a bit skittish with quick movements, so may not be best with small children, but on the plus side, I don't shed too much even though I've got lots of long gorgeous hair.

Meet Slinky Dog - An Extremely Cute Chiweenie!
Slinky Dog is about 3 years old and around 10 pounds of love. Slinky is potty trained and is good with people and dogs. Cats are an unknown, but he would probably be just fine.
He is good on a leash, loves his toys, and is always happy to be out and about. Slinky Dog is not fond of the crate, but that’s ok because he is not destructive and does fine in the house when left alone. He does like to announce if he hears a door or a new noise, but settles quick. He is a gem of a dog!

Meet Maryland: 11 Pounds of Charm, Cuddles & a Few Opinions
Maryland is a 5-year-old, 11-pound, Shih Tzu with a sweet, laid-back personality, a little sass, and some very reasonable expectations for her forever home.
Personal space? Overrated. Maryland loves being close to her people and would happily spend her days as your little shadow. Working from home? Retired? Perfect! She's looking for someone who enjoys having a constant companion. She also appreciates the company of another dog friend when her humans are busy.

Exercise? Maryland loves exploring a fenced backyard, playing with her toys, and taking short, leisurely walks where she can stop and investigate all the neighborhood gossip. If you're looking for someone to help you rack up miles at record speed, you'll need to find a buddy with longer legs.
House training? Maryland does best with regular potty breaks and a consistent schedule. She's looking for someone patient who understands that a lady appreciates a predictable routine.
Crates? No, thank you. Maryland prefers the company of her people or a canine companion over spending time alone in a crate. She's much more interested in being part of the family than watching life happen from the sidelines.

Emilie Ann is an adorable young Chihuahua mix with long, graceful legs and a playful spirit. At just 17 pounds and an estimated 8–12 months old, she is nearly full grown. When she runs, she looks like a little fawn! Her short black coat, adorable gray socks on her front paws, and constantly wagging tail make her absolutely irresistible.
Emilie Ann LOVES other dogs, especially those her own size! She has a sweet, gentle way of approaching them and inviting them to play. She would be happiest in a home with another small, friendly dog who could become her playmate and companion.

When Emilie Ann first arrived at her foster home, she was very shy and unsure of her surroundings. With time, patience, and love, she has blossomed into a much more confident little girl. Now, she happily follows her foster mom around the house, wagging her tail, and even asks for pets. When she's feeling comfortable, she'll flop onto the floor, roll over, and invite you to give her belly rubs! She also loves picking up her toys and carrying them around the house.

She is a true Velcro dog who bonds closely with her favorite human, but she’s willing to accept a trusted “backup human” when her first choice isn’t available. Being close to someone she loves is her happy place.

Don't let his tough-guy name fool you! Bullet is a 10-year-old, 6-pound, black
Chihuahua who is nothing but a little love bug! This sweet boy loves snuggling in your lap, sleeping in your bed, and soaking up all the attention he can get.
Bullet does have a little Chihuahua sass and may grumble if another dog bothers him while he's resting. He'd do best in a home without very young children, where he can enjoy his peace and quiet.
Bullet is in pretty good health and will be getting a dental and neuter soon. All this little guy wants is a warm lap, a cozy bed, and someone to love him for the rest of his days!

This adorable 10-week-old Chihuahua mix may be tiny, but he has a BIG personality! Mr. Peanut is sweet, playful, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s chasing a toy, playing a spirited game of tug-of-war, or zooming around the house, this little guy knows how to have fun.

Meet Peachtree Connie - an 8 month old, German Shepherd mix with a sweet heart, a bright mind, and a whole lot of love to give.
When she’s fully grown, Connie will be a sturdy, athletic companion at about 50–60 pounds: big enough to keep up on adventures, compact enough to snuggle close. She’s crate trained and leash trained, and she’s working hard on potty training like any good puppy her age.

She’s very smart and picks things up quickly, especially when there’s a game of fetch involved. Toss a toy and watch her light up! She loves to play and loves even more to be with her people. Connie is a little shy at first and takes some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s all in. 19. Crispin York
Meet Crispin York! This two-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie mix is a quiet, gentle soul looking for a special person to help him discover that the world can be a safe and happy place.
Crispin came from a situation where he lived with many other dogs and had limited socialization. New experiences can still feel overwhelming, and he is naturally skittish and not yet comfortable with much handling. He has shown no signs of aggression; when he feels unsure, his instinct is to retreat rather than confront. He is also a flight risk and may try to slip out of a leash or collar, so a secure, fully fenced yard and careful safety precautions are essential.

But there is plenty of promise in this little guy! Crispin comes out of his crate for food, takes treats from your hand, and will wander nearby as he begins to feel safe. He is very food-motivated, which is a great way to build trust and help him gain confidence. He also sleeps quietly in his crate and does well with other small dogs. He seems to enjoy older children, too, so a calm home with respectful teens may be a good fit.
Crispin needs a patient, adult or teen-and-up household that understands trust takes time. He isn't likely to be a lap dog on day one, and he may need time before he's comfortable being touched. His new family will need to let him set the pace, celebrate the little victories, and never push him beyond what feels safe.

Trevor, Dash & Rhys York - three little gentlemen looking for their home.
These sweet Yorkie-mix boys (approx. 2 years old, 7–12 pounds) arrived together after a rough start in a hoarding situation. They are still timid and under-socialized, but every week they show more of their true selves: they play with toys, and with one another, and are slowly coming out of their shells.

Each dog would feel safest with another companion animal in their potential home.They are crate trained and settle nicely when they have that safe den. House training is still a work in progress, so patient potty routines and a securely fenced yard (or walks on double leashes for now) are non-negotiable.
Because they can be flight risks and are still learning that the world is safe, we ask for homes with older, respectful children and people who will give them time and consistency rather than overwhelm.
