He got his second chance because a foster stepped up and said YES—and that one decision saved his life.Shadow is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix and quite possibly the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He won’t leave your side because all he wants is to be close to his person and soak up every cuddle he can get. Just looking at him is enough to make his tail start wagging!Shadow loves everyone he meets and has been the belle of the ball everywhere he goes. He’s incredibly chill and easygoing—even at a dog-friendly gym, he calmly hung out while his person worked out and eventually curled up for a nap.He’s also wonderfully non-reactive when other dogs bark at him on walks.

Meet Buster!Buster is an adorable 3–3½-month-old little mystery mix who may have some Terrier, Pug, Spaniel… and who knows what else! Whatever he is, he’s 7–8 pounds of pure sweetness.Buster is a little shy when he first meets you, but give him a little time and he warms up quickly. Once he’s comfortable, his playful, happy personality starts to shine!Buster came into rescue with his brother. They don’t look much alike, but they were rescued together after they were both at risk of euthanasia because they had upper respiratory infections. Thankfully, they made it to safety and are now ready for their next chapter.Buster is great with other dogs and would make a wonderful family dog.

Meet Maya! Maya is an approximately 10–11-year-old small Maltese/Poodle-type mix with a gentle, sweet personality. She was rescued after her previous owner was no longer able to provide the care she needed. Her coat had become severely matted and needed to be completely shaved, but she’s now comfortable, clean and ready for a brand-new beginning.Maya does well with people and other dogs and is an incredibly sweet little lady. At this stage of her life, she deserves nothing more than a safe home, a cozy bed and a family who will absolutely adore her.She’s had a rough chapter, but that doesn’t have to define the rest of her story. We initially gave this sweet 1.5-year-old girl some alone time to focus on raising her puppies, but we quickly discovered that Mia really does enjoy having a doggie friend. She is very dog-friendly and would love a playful pup to keep her company in her foster or forever home.Mia is potty trained, incredibly affectionate, and loves being with her people. Her crate is her safe space, and she absolutely loves it! When she’s not relaxing in her crate, you’ll find her playing with the other pups or cuddling on the couch with her foster.She can be a little skittish in certain situations, especially with unknown men, but considering she spent time living on the streets, it’s completely understandable.

Sara is a 12-pound, spayed female Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, estimated to be about 14 months old. She has an engaging, playful personality that really shines once she feels comfortable.Sara can be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, she warms up beautifully and becomes incredibly sweet and affectionate. Once she bonds with you, she loves nothing more than being by your side and will happily sit with you for hours, soaking up all the love and attention.She is potty trained and would do best in a home that will give her the time and gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe and confident. Both dogs get along great with kids. They both seem to get along with other dogs that are medium or small but we are unsure if they get along other large dogs. Not recommend to be around cats or other small pets since they are a hunting breed. Thor and Ellie are 7-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer siblings who are looking for a loving home where they can continue being part of a family. They have spent their lives around adults, children, and other dogs and have always enjoyed being involved in everyday family activities. Both dogs are affectionate, social, and happiest when they are around people.
