Although she loves Opal, she will do fine in a separate home. Pearl thrives with another friendly dog for companionship and confidence. Pearl will chase cats. She is house trained, good with other dogs, rides well in the car, and has no food or toy issues. Meet Panda a sweet 5 1/2 year old aussie mix who is looking for a soft bed to land on. I'm sweet and listen well. Panda was adopted from us once before but came back due to her owner having health issues. We are told that she is potty trained, likes golf cart rides and being with her people. Panda is the definition of lazy, this big girl doesn't want to help you get in shape or be your walking partner. She would like nothing more than short walks to the kitchen for a snack and into the backyard to use the restroom. - great w/ older kids (13 and up) cannot confirm on younger but would assume yes because he is the sweetest. He does like to jump though so keep that in mind!

- working on potty training and has made huge improvements since getting fixed. We use belly bands at night but only as a precaution - there has been no urine in the diaper for days.

Buffy and Tina are buddies who need to find a home together. Buffy is a maltese and Tina is a chihuahua. Their owner was a homeless woman so these two little dogs were very dependant on each other. They were frequently left alone for long periods of time. Buffy is a little skittish around strange people at first but warms up quickly to anyone with a lap for her to snuggle on. Tina is a little more nervous and is frightened of men. Both love their walks and sniffing out all the new smells. Both are crate, leash and potty trained and love treats and snoozing on the couch. Both are UTD on shots, spayed and on flea preventatives. Neither has ever been around small children. Meet Dodger, a happy go lucky guy who at just 1 year still has a lot of life let in him. Dodger came to AWL as a stray and we cant help but notice how much he looks like Rodger! They also seem to have similar temperaments but still very much each their own. Dodger has been around some of the staffs kids and absolutely had a good time, he also likes to play with other dogs. He may not be every dogs cup of tea as he like to get on top of other dogs and is very vocal while playing so some dogs may not enjoy that. We do require a meet and greet to make sure the dogs personalities align. Dodger also we tested with cats and he did great! He saw the cats run across the floor but he could have cared less about the cats.
