Piglet is looking for that very special adopter who will love her for who she is. She is an incredibly lovely, sweet girl who was just perfect in every way.
However, Piglet has some pretty significant cardiac issues with stenosis of a couple of her valves. This is a congenital defect that is very well managed on daily medication.
However, we have to be completely transparent that this may affect her longevity. Currently she’s completely asymptomatic and has no idea there’s anything wrong with her and behaves just like a young, silly goofy dog.

We know she is a dog, but she is blissfully unaware of well, mostly anything. She is the embodiment of strange and unusual but the definition of love personified. Would I get her wet or let her eat something after midnight? That’s questionable If I had to best liken her to any movie character Lilo and stitch come to mind. Her radar ears pick up the slightest crinkle of any snack bag within a 30 mile radius and her stealthy little spider senses sniff out the yummiest treats around. 5. Jackie
ADOPT JACKIE
We sure hope you remember this most precious girl whose original name was candied yam. Jackie found herself in the open intake shelter in Philadelphia with a very significant facial wound. Her entire bottom mandible was to degloved. There was no explanation for how this injury occurred. There were no other wounds on her body. It was just a mystery.
Jackie went through three “facelifts” to repair her degloved face which were mostly successful. Unfortunately, her bottom lip cannot be reattached as there was no tissue to attach it to inside of her mouth so she has a permanent pucker which we all find quite endearing.

Jackie spent several months in a cone and a soft muzzle and tolerated that beautifully and showed us just what a good girl she really is.
She is flourishing in Foster and is now ready for her Happy of her after.
Jackie is a lovely red pit mix roughly 6 years old about 55 pounds and is the best snuggler on the planet!
She’s learning to walk on leash, crate trained, house trained, spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on her vaccines and is simply the silliest goofiest girl.
When she sees you, she turns into a Mexican jumping bean because all she wants to do is play and have zoomies in the yard and then cuddle on the sofa.
As Jackie is the only dog in her foster home currently we would have to do a meet if there’s another dog in the adoptive home.
This girl is truly special and the most deserving and so tolerant of all that she’s been through. It’s her time to shine.

Apple is a precious six-year-old staffy mix who is looking for her forever home.
Cats are unknown and kids over 6 would be best for this house hippo.
This adorable girl was found wandering all by herself in Kensington and a good Samaritan brought her into the open intake shelter in Philadelphia
Apple found herself on the timestamp list due to some questionable lesions on her back legs and around her tail which needed further evaluation and testing that the shelter was not able to perform. Biopsy results show totally benign growths, quite possibly the result of pressure sores from being confined in a small crate.

What we know about this darling girl is her favorite thing in life is to smother you with wet, sloppy kisses, we mean smother you in wet sloppy kisses. She does not enjoy getting wet so bath time can be a bit of a wrestling match nor does she enjoy going out in the rain.
Apple is spayed (no more baby making machine for her), utd on vaccines, and chipped.
Apple is house trained (with a few accidents here and there), crate trained, does well on leash. She enjoys the company of the female pup in her foster home, but is not fully in love with the male resident dog. Perhaps, he is not her type!
Apple recently participated in a fashion show where she rocked the runway and ruled the audience with her adorable personality.
Apple is just about 50 pounds, so a perfect fit for any home.
We think, after all she has been through that, she deserves her happy ever after with a family who will love her as she deserves to be loved.

Hi, I am Ginger, a beautiful 3-year-old yellow Lab mix with a heart overflowing with love! I have the softest, most gorgeous fur coat and a sweet, easygoing personality that makes it hard not to fall in love with me. I’m a happy girl with a positive outlook on life, and I absolutely LOVE people! I get along well with other dogs, too. I fit right in with my foster family’s three little dogs, was wonderful with the kids, and made friends with everyone I met.
