2. Ginger
LAP DOG ALERT!
Read more about Ginger
Hi, I am Ginger, a beautiful 3-year-old yellow Lab mix with a heart overflowing with love! I have the softest, most gorgeous fur coat and a sweet, easygoing personality that makes it hard not to fall in love with me. I’m a happy girl with a positive outlook on life, and I absolutely LOVE people! I get along well with other dogs, too. Give me belly rubs, a little affection, and a cozy lap to snuggle on, and I’m in heaven! My sweet, gentle nature has a way of drawing people to me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way because I love everyone. All I want is to share my love with someone who will see how special I am and let me be a part of their world.
For over a year, I lived in a rural Kentucky shelter where adoptions were few and far between. Every day was so sad and boring. Thankfully, there were kind, caring ladies who visited us and showed us love and advocated for a rescue for us. Without them, many of us might never have had the chance to feel fresh air or enjoy a little kindness beyond our kennel walls. It was a sad place, and I dreamed of the day my life would finally change. And then, my miracle happened! LaMancha said YES to me and a wonderful foster home in Kentucky opened their heart to me while I waited for my journey to Pennsylvania. I fit right in with my foster family’s three little dogs, was wonderful with the kids, and made friends with everyone I met. I even learned some new tricks, including “sit” and “down,” and I’m housebroken too!
I’m ready for my next chapter. I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to spend the rest of my life showing you just how special a girl like me can be.
Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org to meet GINGER.

10. Oscar
INTRODUCING OSCAR - The handsome goofball you’re about to fall in love with!
If Oscar were human, his very first word would be ball — because this little guy lives for playtime. Oscar is the definition of fun. If he were in school, he’d be the kid everyone adored: the cheerful class clown, always ready to make life brighter.
He may be small in stature (he tries so hard to stand tall in his photos), but his personality is larger than the Pacific Ocean and brighter than a disco ball. Oscar is a joyful, toy‑loving, fun‑loving little dude.
Read more about Oscar
He’s also a total ladies’ man with his dog friends — he has the best time romping around the field with his favorite female buddies. And when it comes to humans? Oscar craves love and attention. He’s all about connection, affection, and being someone’s little shadow.
His good looks will catch your eye — that gorgeous coat, those regal features — but it’s his warm golden eyes that will truly melt your heart.
Oscar is so grateful to have landed safely at LaMancha after being rescued from life on the streets. Now, his dream is simple: a forever home where he is cherished, adored, and loved for the rest of his life.
This adorable one‑year‑old cutie is ready to dedicate his whole heart to you.
Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org to meet Oscar.

11. Skye
Meet the one and only Diva of the World… Miss Beautiful Skye.
Skye earned her diva crown the hard way — by surviving a past no dog should ever endure. Before arriving at LaMancha, she lived in heartbreaking neglect, trapped in a wire kennel so long that the grass grew up and over the top. She never walked, rarely ate or drank, and had no shelter from the world around her. Now, she’s finally making up for lost time, a life where she’s treated like the royalty she always deserved. And honestly, she’s allowed to be a Sweet Diva.
Read more about Skye
Skye is a little beam of sunshine in a fur coat, adorned with the most beautiful blend of colors and markings. Once forgotten soul, she’s now a happy girl who celebrates life with every wiggle and grin. Out in the field, she becomes a joyful comedian — rolling in the grass, kicking her legs in the air, and trotting around with the silliest, most heart‑melting enthusiasm. She also loves playing with her dog friends, bouncing around with that sweet, silly energy that makes everyone smile. Her playful side is only half her charm. Skye adores human companionship — she lights up for affection, melts into gentle pets, and loves everyone she meets with her whole heart. She’s the kind of dog who makes you feel chosen, cherished, and appreciated. Skye is beautiful, but she’s even more breathtaking in person. Her soft eyes, her sweet spirit, her grateful little smile… she’s truly a gem, a heaven‑scent gift waiting for the family who will treasure her. Skye is 4 years old.

13. Dolly
Meet Dolly . . . A legendary name. A lovable soul.
Read more about Dolly
Some dogs are born with a little extra magic — and Dolly is one of them. With a name like hers, she carries the same sparkle that Dolly Parton gave the world for decades. This Dolly doesn’t sing, but she does have a way of making you feel loved the same way Dolly Parton’s songs wrapped people in comfort. Dolly is all sass, sunshine, and sparkle — the kind of dog who struts into the yard like it’s her own personal stage at Dollywood. Dolly is a beautiful 3-year-old Black German Shepherd with the most beautiful shimmering black coat and a smile so sweet it will give you your own smile lines. Dolly is a gorgeous, sweet, people‑loving girl who melts the moment she’s with her humans. She’ll adore being the center of your world and hopes to be your one‑and‑only furkid. With a heart big enough for ten dogs and a snuggle game that could win awards, she’ll be forever grateful that you opened your heart and gave her a life overflowing with love.
