Kid-Friendly Dogs for Adoption in Appleton, WI: 30 Dogs Good with Children

Tortilla is 37lbs and ready to go home! She is a little nervous, so we don't recommend small children for her. She would do better with older children that are respectful of boundaries. She seems to do well with male dogs and does not seem to mind cats. Tortilla's adoption fee is $200 + tax. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Her first day in foster she was already comfortable with the other dogs. She is all about walks and being outside if the weather is nice. Where does see sleep? Well, we tried the kennel but she wasn't a fan. Instead Laverne used the doggie steps and found her way to foster mom's bed. She is so sweet and snuggly we don't mind at all.

We never have to ask where is Laverne because she is always right by your side or near your feet. She's doing great with potty training and she's a good little eater.

Let's talk about her cutest feature those ears. Man she tells stories with them. One time there both up. Sometimes one is high and one is low. So adorable!!!

He's missed out on a lot of the things other dogs take for granted. Basic training, confidence, socialization, and learning how to navigate life in a home are all things he'll need help with.

But here's what we're already seeing... Hershey WANTS to learn!

In the short time he's been with us, we've seen that spark. That curiosity. That little bit of drive that tells us he's ready to figure this whole world out. He just needs someone willing to show him the way.
