1. River

Adult · Male · Redbone Coonhound

I’m River! I’m a 2-year-old, 44-pound Coonhound/Redbone with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. If you believe in second chances and incredible glow-ups, my story is for you! When I first arrived, I was terrified of the world and really scared of people. It turns out my eyes were hurting me (a condition called entropion), but thanks to a successful corrective surgery, I can finally see comfortably—and I have completely blossomed! Now that I’m feeling good, I’ve discovered just how wonderful people are, and I love making new human and dog friends.I’m already house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. It took a little healing, but I'm fully ready to start my next chapter. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle hound to fill your home with love, I’d love to meet you!

2. Curly

Adult · Male · Great Dane / Mixed

Hey there, I’m Curly! I’m a handsome 1-year-old brindle Great Dane weighing right around 80 pounds. Back in early October, a hunter found my brother and me out in the woods when we were very thin and dehydrated. Thankfully, we’ve been on a good feeding schedule ever since and have already put on 10 to 15 pounds! Everyone here says I am a total sweetheart. I'm super gentle with people, take treats nicely from your hand, and walk really well on a leash! I’m currently working on my housetraining, and since I love snacks so much, I'm a big fan of training time. I also get along great with other dogs! Even though I'm a big boy who likes to get vocal and chatty while playing, I'm actually very gentle with my dog friends.

I am all set on my vet care, too! I’m neutered, microchipped, caught up on all my vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases. I would love nothing more than a cozy home and a family to call my own. Come say hi to me soon!

3. Larry

Adult · Male · Great Dane / Mixed

My name is Larry, and I’m a 1-year-old tan Great Dane weighing around 75 pounds! Earlier this month, a kind hunter found my brother and me out in the woods when we were severely underweight and dehydrated. Since then, we’ve been on a steady feeding schedule and have already gained a healthy 10 to 15 pounds! Even after a rough start, I am the sweetest, most gentle big guy. I walk nicely on a leash, take treats very softly from your hand, and love playing with other dogs! I can get pretty vocal when I play, and I also like to do some goofy mouth play, though I’m always gentle and never put any pressure down.

Because I don’t quite realize how big I am yet, I’m currently learning not to jump up when I get excited, and I'm also working on my housetraining (luckily, I'm super treat-motivated!). One funny thing to know about me is that when my brother and I were put in separate outdoor runs after getting neutered, I got bored and showed everyone I can climb a fence! I’m neutered, microchipped, up to date on my shots. I’m so ready to trade my days in the woods for a soft bed and a loving family. Come meet me soon!

4. Stassi

Adult · Female · Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Hi, I’m Stassi! Within ten minutes of walking into my foster home, I was already curled up snuggling—my foster mom says I’m by far the cuddliest dog she’s ever met! I’m a 3-year-old black and white Lab/Terrier mix, and at 35 pounds, I’m a great compact size for squeezing onto the couch right next to you.Back at the shelter, the staff always called me "the perfect dog" because I’m so easygoing. I love people, do great with kids, walk nicely on a leash, and I'm already housetrained. I’ve even gone out to busy adoption events and did great in public! I originally came into the shelter with another dog and really enjoy having dog friends around.

5. Demi

Adult · Female · German Shepherd Dog / Mixed

Hi, I’m Demi! I’m a 3-year-old, 70-pound German Shepherd mix who just loves being right in the middle of things. I’m super friendly, great with kids, and an easy passenger in the car. I’ve even gone out to busy adoption events and did great with all the new people and activity! I am very food-motivated, so if you have treats in your hand, you have my full attention. That makes teaching me new things pretty easy! As far as other pets go, I’m not a fan of cats, and I don't like dogs that play super rough or get in my face. I’d be happiest in a cat-free home where I can be your one-and-only, or live alongside a calm, polite dog who respects my space. I’m spayed, microchipped, and fully caught up on my vaccines. If you’re looking for a sweet, social shepherd to take on drives and spoil with treats, come say hi!

6. Paisley

Puppy · Female · Shepherd / Great Pyrenees / Mixed

Hi, I’m Paisley! My sibling and I recently lost our home when our owner couldn't take care of us anymore, so now I’m on the lookout for a family of my own! My name is Paisley, and I’m an 8-month-old (as of October, 2026) Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix right around 35 pounds.Because I’m still a young girl, I have plenty of fun, goofy puppy spirit left in me, balanced out by a super sweet nature. I love kids, hop right into the car for rides without any fuss, and I’m already about halfway housetrained, so I just need a steady daily routine to help me cross the finish line! My foster mom says I've also been doing great with my crate training and am catching on really well to new things! Right now, she's teaching me "sit," "lay down," and "stay" (where I wait for her to say "free" before I get my treat!), and I'm even learning to wait in my crate until she says the word "release." When I meet new dogs, I tend to be a little shy and submissive for the first few minutes.

Once I know we’re friends, I take my cues from them and adjust right to their speed, whether I'm hanging out with a playful buddy or a total couch potato. On the vet side, everything is done: I’m spayed, microchipped, up to date on my shots, and tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases. I’d love to grow up with a family who has room for a gentle, affectionate pup—come meet me soon!

7. Arkansas

Adult · Male · Beagle

* Please note that we are no longer taking applications for Arkansas. *Hi, I’m Arkansas! At 7 years old and about 30 pounds, I am an easygoing Beagle boy who simply enjoys the quiet rhythms of everyday life.I genuinely love people and want nothing more than to be around my humans, and I'm so patient and wonderful with kids, too! I do great with other dogs, and I’m pretty indifferent toward cats—feline drama isn't really my style, so I just let them do their own thing.I'm also a good house guest - my foster mom says I am housetrained! If you appreciate leisurely walks where every blade of grass gets a thorough sniff (I LOVE walks!), followed by quiet companionship on a soft rug, we’re going to be fast friends.I’m neutered, microchipped, fully up to date on all my vaccines, and I have officially finished my full heartworm treatment and recovery! 8. Clementine

Young · Female · Spaniel / Mixed

When I first showed up here, I was painfully skinny, scared of my own shadow, and entirely unsure of what this world had to offer. But with consistent meals, a safe bed, and gentle humans, I didn’t just step out of my shell—I blasted right out of it! Now? Oh, hey, I’m Clementine: a bouncy, affectionate 50-pound Spaniel/Pointer mix who is head-over-heels in love with life! Romping with my buddy Milo in the yard is my favorite sport, and I genuinely believe humans—especially kids—are the greatest invention on the planet. (I haven’t met a cat yet, so they're still a mystery to me.)Because everything out in the world is brand-new and thrilling, I tend to pull on walks like a sled dog.

Having a patient teammate to teach me polite leash manners will be key! I'm all set physically: spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and officially done with my treatment for an old tick bite. 9. David Bowie

Young · Male · Collie / Siberian Husky / Mixed

Meet David Bowie! Take one look at my photo and you’ll see how I got my name: one ice-blue eye, one warm brown eye, and two giant radar ears! I’m David Bowie, a one-year-old Collie/Husky mix, and at an easy 32 pounds, I'm the ultimate compact companion. I'm naturally shy around new people and take my time warming up, but once I know I'm safe, I soften right up. In the house, my foster mom says I’m remarkably calm and chill. I don't bark, I listen well, and I have an easy, peaceful routine when it’s time to go to bed. Loud noises and fast movements make me jump, and I can be a little head-shy at first, but once we're bonded, my favorite move is sticking right against your legs like a little shadow.

(I take treats with the gentlest mouth, and I just ask for a quiet corner to eat my dinner in peace! )Other dogs are where my goofy side comes out! I play so nicely with furry friends and even threw a play-bow to my own reflection in the mirror. Having a confident, friendly dog sibling at home would be huge for showing me the ropes. Because quick movements still startle me, a patient, low-key home without young kids is where I’ll do best. I’m already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. If you have a soft spot for gentle souls and an easygoing pup at home to be my guide, come say hi!

If you’re looking for a fun, smart sidekick who matches big outdoor energy with top-tier cuddle skills, look no further!Kennel life can make me feel like a total spaz, but in a real home setting, I settle right in like an old pro. I’m fully housebroken, get along wonderfully with kids, and love making friends with any dog I meet. 11. James

Adult · Male · Terrier / Mixed

Hi there, I’m James! I’m a 1-year-old, 48-pound Terrier mix with a fun-loving spirit and a heart full of gold. If you’re looking for a dog who is as ready for a weekend getaway as he is for a cozy afternoon at home, I’m your guy!I am super friendly with both people and other dogs! I actually made the trip here with my buddy June, so I’m very comfortable around canine pals.I’m already house-trained, great in the car, and big-time treat-driven—which means we’re going to have a blast working on new tricks together! I’m a very loving boy who bonds closely with my people and loves being by their side.I do have separation anxiety and have a very hard time being left alone.

Read more about James

I need a home where someone is always home. My family will need to be prepared to work with me on the gradual, sometimes challenging, training that separation anxiety requires. This isn’t something that can be rushed, so my adopters will need to be patient, committed, and able to arrange their schedules so that I’m not left alone while I learn that being by myself is safe. In return, you’ll get an incredibly devoted companion who truly loves being with his people. I’m looking for a home with older kids or adults. Little ones just aren’t really my thing, but I do well with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to respect my space.I’m neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.I am young and have a lot of energy, so I also need a home where I can get plenty of exercise and opportunities to let that energy out. If you like long walks or need a running buddy, I am your guy!Whether we’re cruising around town with the windows down, heading out for a walk, or hanging out together at home, I’m just excited to be by your side. If you have the time, patience, and lifestyle to help a loving dog like me work through separation anxiety, I may just be your perfect match.

At about 60 pounds, I’m past the messy puppy stage but still have plenty of classic Border Collie brains, energy, and personality. I’m easy to recognize by my sleek black coat, bright white socks, and the fancy white splash on my chest. Basically, I’m always dressed for a special occasion. I’m a social, affectionate guy who loves being part of the action. Adventures? Yes, please. Learning new tricks? Absolutely.

Couch time after a busy day? I thought you’d never ask. I can get a little mouthy when I’m excited so I’d do best in an adult home or one without young children. I’m also selective about my dog friends. Some dogs get the tail-wagging seal of approval, while others don’t quite make the cut, so any potential canine sibling would need a thoughtful introduction. I may decide that being your one-and-only is the perfect arrangement—and honestly, I’m confident I can provide more than enough personality for one household.
