I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after no one came to claim me, I was about to be put on something bad called “the list.” Fortunately for me, BCAA saw me and said they would help me… yeah! Beau is a handsome 1-year-old Lab mix weighing about 55 pounds, although he’s a little on the skinny side and is working toward his goal weight of around 60 pounds. We think he may have some Hound or even Great Dane mixed in — and those long legs, slender build, and gorgeous floppy ears certainly make us wonder! Beau has the most beautiful jet-black coat and an even more beautiful personality. This boy has never met a stranger! Hank is the best boy! He was found wondering the streets, either left behind, or lost, but no one showed up at the shelter to claim him. He is so friendly and affectionate and gentle. We believe him to be only about 3 years old and a lean, 70 lbs at this time. He could use a good grooming, but all in all, is jsut an incredible family dog, for folks who like the bigger breeds. Hank is good with everyone he meets and with dogs - we can cat test. SO handsome in person. A must meet, for this great dog will steal your heart, for sure. Fender is a handsome 1-year, 9-month-old, happy, active guy! His dad was a Great Pyrenees, and his mom, Stormy, was mostly a Husky/Cattle Dog mix. You can see her DNA results in the pictures.
Fender weighs approximately 70 lbs and is an energetic boy who loves to run and play, especially with other dogs! He is housetrained, leash trained, and knows some basic commands.
Sadly, Fender needs a new home due to his family’s divorce. He has been very well cared for and is current on his vaccinations and preventatives.
Fender would do best with an active family who can give him plenty of exercise and attention. We think he would really benefit from having another active dog in the home to run and play with. He has not been around cats or children, so we don’t know how he would do with either.

Gracie’s life would make anyone who loves dogs cry. She was used as a breeding dog snd had 3 litters til she was no use to the breeder. The best news, he allowed our rescue to take custody of her to ensure that she has an awesome life going forward. We placed two of her puppies in wonderful homes snd now it is her time. She is current on all vaccines and is extremely shy. She will need a family to provide love and patience. She is starting to come out of her shell but loud noises frighten her. There were a lot of cars, it was dark and our Team was worried he would get hit. When called he jumped in the van. The team went around the houses near the location and no one knew his story or where he came from. He was checked gor a chip snd every effort was exhausted looking for his family. Brutus is current on all his vaccines. He is heartworm negative and he will be neutered before adoption is final. He is a strong, muscular boy but he loves people.
