1. Pedro
Adult (3 years) · Male · Boston Terrier (short coat) · 5 mi from Parker

Hi, I'm Pedro, and yes, the smile is real. I know, it's pretty adorable. I'm a 3-year-old Boston Terrier boy weighing in at a perfectly portable 30 pounds, and my favorite hobby is being wherever you are. Going to the kitchen? I'll supervise. Watching TV? I'll be your cuddle buddy. Taking a car ride? Call me your co-pilot. I love absolutely everyone I meet and make friends faster than you can say, "good boy." Dogs? Love them. Cats? Love them too. Kids? Yep, they're great! My foster cat sibling and foster doggy brother are some of my favorite pals, especially when it's time to play outside.Speaking of playtime, I love running around the yard, hanging out with my doggy friends, and showing off my excellent recall. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm some wild party animal. I'm actually a pretty relaxed dude who believes life is all about balance: a little play, a little adventure, and a whole lot of snuggling. I've got all the important grown-up skills, too. I'm house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and even know how to use a doggy door. Basically, I'm the total package. My dream home? One where I'm loved, included in the fun, and maybe have a furry sibling or two to hang out with. In return, I'll provide companionship, cuddles, smiles, and expert-level shadowing services. So, what do you think? Ready to have the cutest sidekick you've ever met? I know I can't wait to meet my forever family. My adoption fee is $400.

2. Josie
Adult (3 years 1 month) · Female · French Bulldog · 5 mi from Parker

Josie here, reporting for duty... and by duty, I mean collecting cuddles, chasing tennis balls, and making sure everyone knows I'm the sweetest little Frenchie around! I'm a 3-year-old French Bulldog weighing in at a perfect 25 pounds of squishy, adorable goodness. I absolutely love people and thrive on attention. If you're looking for a little shadow with a big heart, look no further. I came into my foster home like I already owned the place, confidently making myself comfortable and charming everyone I met. I've got good manners, too! I'm housetrained, know how to use a dog door, and I'm crate trained. I can show off my smarts by sitting on command and shaking with both my left and right paws. Pretty impressive, right? I also ride great in the car, so I'm always ready for adventures or errands by your side. When it comes to friends, I'm easygoing and gentle. I get along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes, and I enjoy meeting new people. Whether you're a senior looking for a devoted companion or a family wanting a loving pup to complete your home, I'm happy to spread my affection around. My energy level is on the lower side, but don't mistake that for boring. I still love to play, especially if there's a ball involved! Balls are my absolute favorite toys. Now, I do have one very important quirk my future family needs to know about. You see, I have an unfortunate talent for finding socks and swallowing them whole. Socks, small toys, and other little items left on the floor are simply too tempting for me. Because of this, I need a home with adults or older children who can be diligent about keeping things picked up. Trust me, we'll all be happier if the socks stay in the hamper where they belong! My dream home is one filled with love, attention, belly rubs, and people who want a loyal little companion by their side. If you're looking for a gentle, cuddly Frenchie who will happily ride shotgun, snuggle on the couch, and steal your heart (but hopefully not your socks), I think we might be the perfect match. My adoption fee is $700.

3. Frick
Adult (4 years 2 months) · Male · French Bulldog / English Bulldog / Mixed · 5 mi from Parker

I’m Frick — a 4‑year‑old Frenchie/English Bulldog mix weighing in at a perfect 43 pounds of soft, snuggly goodness. I’m a calm, quiet little gentleman who barely makes a peep… unless I’m asleep, in which case I snore like a tiny, cozy bulldozer dreaming its best dreams. My favorite thing in the world is being close to my humans. I follow you everywhere, lean in for hugs, melt under ear rubs, and absolutely adore top‑of‑the‑head kisses. If you sit down, I will gently drape myself over you like a warm, living weighted blanket. It’s my calling. Toys? I’m intrigued, but also confused. I stare at them like they’re trying to tell me a secret. Food, however, now that I understand. I’m very food motivated and have perfected the art of the “sweetest boy” eyes to earn an extra nibble. I’m still working on my training including house training but making progress. I’m leash trained and very gentle. I get along well with other dogs, though bigger dogs make me nervous because I was picked on before. I’m happiest with kind, friendly pups or just hanging out with my humans. Car rides aren’t my favorite, but lounging in the yard? That’s my happy place. I love feeling the breeze, sniffing the world, and just being a peaceful little potato. I’m the sweetest boy-soft‑hearted, snuggly, quiet, and loyal. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who wants nothing more than to love you, follow you, and nap near you, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $450..

4. Doodle
Puppy (3 months 26 days) · Female · Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat) · 5 mi from Parker

Hi, I’m Doodle! I’m a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix gal with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and the sweetest snuggles you could ask for. I love running around with my doggy siblings, chasing toys, and exploring, but I’m also a pretty laid‑back little gal who’s just as happy curling up beside you when playtime is done. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I’m good with kids and cats, and I have normal puppy energy, enough to make you smile, but not so much that I can’t settle down for cuddles. I love all toys, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. I’m sweet, playful, snuggly, and ready to become someone’s best little girl. My adoption fee is $300.
Puppies will come fully vetted and the rescue will pay for spay and neuter.

Puppy (3 months 26 days) · Female · Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat) · 5 mi from Parker

Hi, I’m Noodles, a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and fluff so light and sweet it looks like I was dusted with powdered sugar. I’m just as fluffy as my sister Doodle, but I come in a lighter shade—like the sunshine version of our little duo. I love running around with my doggy siblings, chasing toys, and exploring new things, but I’m also a pretty laid‑back little girl who’s just as happy curling up beside you once playtime winds down. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I’m good with kids and cats, and I have normal puppy energy—enough to make you laugh and keep things fun, but not so much that I can’t settle in for snuggles. I adore all toys, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly like the fluffy little champion I am. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. If you’re looking for an adorable, light‑colored fluffball with a sweet soul and a playful heart, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $300. Hi, I’m Waffles, a 3‑month‑old female Boston Terrier mix with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and the cutest scruffy black‑and‑brindle coat you’ve ever seen. I look a little like a tiny woodland creature—sweet, scruffy, and full of charm—and I even have a little white tuft on my chin that makes everyone smile the moment they see me. I love running around with my doggy siblings, exploring new things, and chasing toys, but I’m also a pretty easygoing little girl who’s just as happy curling up beside you when playtime is over. Adult (1 year 2 months) · Female · Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat) · 8 mi from Parker

Age: 1 year
Weight: 40lb
Feyre, pronounced FAY-RUH, is named after the brave, strong heroine of the ACOTAR book series. Feyre loves people, loves other dogs and is super playful. Her perfect evening consists of play time (she loves to fetch) or a walk, followed by snuggles on the couch. It's a big plus if belly rubs are included.
Feyre's start in life wasn't ideal - at 1 year old she's already had a litter of pups and been dumped at the shelter with them. Luckily they made it into a foster home, she raised her pups, and now she's ready to start her new life!
Read more about Feyre
New places still make her a little nervous but she's getting better every day - she just needs a few minutes to feel safe when she encounters new things/places. She most likely wasn't exposed to much and never walked on a leash prior to landing at the shelter.
Feyre is super smart and learning new things every day. She can't wait to find a family and would LOVE to have a doggie friend that likes to run and play.

19. Skye
Young (9 months) · Female · German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat) · 8 mi from Parker

Skye is approximately eight months old and 50 lbs. as of 9/1/26. She was picked up as a stray by a kind citizen who was unable to locate her owner. Now we're helping them find Skye a new loving family to adopt her. She's house and crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed very soon. Skye does well with other dogs and is very playful and energetic. She's likely too much energy for very small children. She would benefit from active owner who has time to give her plenty of exercise.
Skye's adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet/adopt her here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

20. Montana
Young · Male · Husky / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) · 8 mi from Parker

Montana is a 2 1/2-year-old, 56 lb. Husky/German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to a city shelter by his owner. Read more about Montana
Unfortunately, Montana wasn’t treated the best in his previous home, but despite that, he is still as sweet, gentle, and loving as can be. He is completely housebroken, walks well on a leash, loves to play fetch, and is happiest when he can be right by your side. Montana is also good with children and is especially gentle with younger kids.
He needs a home without cats but could do well with other dogs with a proper meet and greet. This handsome boy will thrive with a family that can continue to provide him with love, structure, consistency, and encouragement. In return, Montana will give you loyalty, companionship, and plenty of affection.
Montana is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He tested positive for heartworms and is currently being treated through the slow-kill method. This treatment does not require the same level of rest and activity restriction as traditional heartworm treatment. If you’re interested in meeting Montana, please apply online and we’ll be in touch

Adopting a dog in Parker
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the dog, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your dog in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior dogs are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate dog, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Puppies go quickly, so if you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon. Ask how big they're expected to grow, and plan for plenty of house-training and training in the first few months.
