11/1/2026Hope II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Hope II! I am a beautiful 3 month old flashy fawn puppy! I am an owner surrender due to being rescued, nursed back to health after having Parvo, and my caretakers rescued me to find a good home! I am described as friendly, active, smart, and playful! I live with another dog and am said to be dog friendly! There are no kids in my home but I have met the neighbor 3 and 5 year old kids and play with them and am kid friendly! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly! Because I am a puppy, I am still learning house and crate training manners.

Bree is a sweet 20-week-old puppy who weighs about 28 pounds and has a gentle, curious spirit. With a lower energy level, she enjoys exploring and playing, but she’s also happy to take things at her own pace and relax with her people.

Bree is adventurous, playful, and smart, though she can be shy when she encounters new people or situations. She will need a family who is patient and committed to helping her build confidence through plenty of positive socialization and new experiences. Her personality is still developing, and with the right guidance, she has so much potential to blossom.

Cannoli is a sweet 20-week-old puppy who weighs about 30 pounds and is already winning hearts wherever he goes. With a moderate energy level, Cannoli enjoys playtime and puppy adventures, but he also loves settling in for cuddles with his people.

This gentle boy is curious, playful, food-motivated, and eager to learn. He can be a little shy at first, but he’s a quick learner, and his personality is still blossoming as he gains confidence and experiences the world. Like any puppy, he’s working on learning limits and may chew on things that catch his attention, but he’s ready to be redirected and guided as he grows.

I may be one of the most patient dogs you’ll ever meet! I sit through baths and medical care like a champ, never fussing — just trusting. Sure, I’m a quick learner too. I even picked up a hand signal for “sit” in a single day!
Despite everything I’ve been through in my short life, I’m unbelievably sweet. I melt under the smallest pet, lean into affection, and remain incredibly trusting even though life hasn’t always been kind.
I truly just want love, and I’ll do anything for it. I can provide a lifetime of love with my adoption, but honestly, I’m like clay — eager, adaptable, and ready to fit into just about any home.
A Little More About Me

Hi. My name is Zorro and I am a handsome German Shepherd mix. I was found abandoned in a culvert in the country with my brother, Batman. We were being fed by the Good Samaritans who found us. We got along with all of their children and animals but we were too much for them to care for in addition to their dogs, cats, and horses. Straydog came to our rescue and we are now getting our puppy vaccinations. I am very playful and like to swim and play fetch. I never meet a stranger and would love to find my forever home. Come meet me at Straydog.

Laredo is a healthy male at just 9 months old. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way with him. He is still learning to be calm around the littles, so he’ll need some supervision at first. Laredo attended training class, but his previous family tells us they didn’t see too much change. Laredo becomes friendly with other dogs after he overcomes a little shyness at first. While he was with his previous owner, Laredo was house trained and slept in his crate at night. Laredo enjoyed riding in the car, but being at home alone didn’t seem to bother him. He’ll need some backyard supervision until he learns that digging is a no-no.

Choco was rescued along with his brother, Churro, when they were found with a horrible case of sarcoptic mange. They were quarantined and treated for their mange and are now healthy and happy. Choco is a gorgeous, chocolate colored lab mix and loves to play with his toys, his brother, and the caregivers. He will make a great family dog and is receiving all of his puppy vaccinations. You can meet him at our shelter and take him home to be a member of your family.

Churro was rescued along with his brother, Choco, when they were found with a horrible case of sarcoptic mange. They were quarantined and treated for their mange and are now healthy, beautiful dogs. Churro is a gorgeous cinnamon colored puppy and loves to play with his brother, his toys, and the caregivers. He is very loving and affectionate and is receiving his puppy vaccinations. He would love to meet you at our shelter.

Messi was abandoned at the vet when he was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. Straydog rescued him and believe that he deserves a chance for a good life just like his name sake, the famous Argentine soccer player, Lionel Messi. His disease is easily controlled with a daily steroid pill. He can live a long and happy life.

He is a typical loving little puppy. He loves to play with his toys, is affectionate, loving, and like to sit in your lap. He is leash trained and is in the process of getting all of his puppy vaccinations and will be neutered and microchipped soon.

Messi is waiting for you to come and meet him. He will melt your heart.

Meet Mongo! He is a male 9 month old puppy looking for a forever family. He is happy, playful, and talkative.

We think he is a Great Pyrenees and possibly German Shepherd mix (due to his big ears that stand upright at times). He currently weighs around 50lbs, we think he will grow up to be around 70-80lbs.

Mongo loves being near his people and dog friends. He can be too rough with little kids but would be fine with older children. He does well meeting new people on outings. He enjoys getting pets and sleeping near his 'pack'.

These adorable puppies were born on 4/8/26 and are just beginning to explore the world around them. At this age, their personalities are still developing, but they’re growing into playful, curious, and loving little companions.
Like all puppies, they will need continued training, socialization, patience, and plenty of love as they learn about the world and grow into confident adult dogs. Their future families should be prepared for all the fun (and work!) that comes with raising a puppy — including housetraining, basic manners, chewing, playtime, and lots of cuddles.
