URGENT: LUCKY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER HOME ASAP

Lucky is only one year old, and he has already been through more upheaval than any puppy should have to experience. After his owner was deported, Lucky ended up at the shelter on the euthanasia list. A foster stepped forward—but she’s unable to commit to his needs, and he urgently needs somewhere safe to go.

Lucky is a good dog. He is friendly with children, does well with other dogs, and has so much potential. He needs a patient foster who understands that puppies require consistency, structure, exercise, supervision, and training.

MEET KAIDA — YOUR LOVING ADVENTURE BUDDY!

Hi, I’m Kaida, a gorgeous 3-year-old girl with a sleek black coat, an adorable white chest patch, and piercing orange-brown eyes that are hard to forget!

I’m an absolute sweetheart who loves meeting people and is exceptionally friendly with kids and my doggy foster siblings. 4. Breena

Young · Female · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hi, I’m Breena—a sweet, snuggly 1 1/2-year-old girl looking for my forever home! Could I be the goofy new best friend your family has been waiting for?

I love everyone I meet, including children, and I’m friendly with other dogs. The shelter also reported that I did well with kittens!

I’m a playful, high-energy girl with an adorably goofy personality. When I get excited, I hop around while I play! I love following my people and dog friends around to see what they’re doing, and I’m a quick learner who enjoys being part of the action.

I’m already potty trained, know how to use a doggy door, and walk very nicely on a leash.

Car rides aren’t my favorite right now, but with patience and positive experiences, I may become more comfortable.

More than anything, I love affection—especially belly rubs! I’m ready for a loving family that will give me plenty of playtime, snuggles, and opportunities to keep learning.

5. Abby

Young · Female · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hi Friends! My name is Abby and I am a sweet beautiful 1.5-2 year old pup looking for her forever home!

Currently, I am with my foster family while I wait for my forever family to find me! Previously, I was in the shelter and was saved! I am happy to be here and ready for my forever home!

Some of my favorite things to do are laying on the couch and relaxing! I have the cutest smile and just love showing it off. I am potty trained and walk well on leash!

Read more about Abby

I can be a bit nervous and shy around people/strangers and do best with slow introductions. Sometimes I get so nervous/excited that I may bark and jump (even with treats). I haven’t had any interactions with children so far!

Since I’ve been at my foster home I haven’t interacted with other animals either and a previous challenging experience with another dog at the kennel has made me more nervous around other dogs.

So, right now I am really enjoying being the only animal in the home and just loving all the attention I can get! I have a big loving personality and love going for walks, playing with my toys, laying in bed and getting pets! I love hanging out so much that I really don’t enjoy much time alone! If left alone, I can get a bit sad and cry and just want to be in the presence of others!

I am a great pup to hang out with and cannot wait to spend quality time with my new family.

Now, I am looking for a home where I can be slowly introduced to my family and spend a lot of time together, especially cuddling and going on fun adventures/walks.

I am a sweet loving and shy girl who needs a lot of love and patience to warm up to my new family and home! If you are looking for a loving pup, then ask about me!

6. Tank

Adult · Male · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hi, I’m Tank—a giant love bug looking for my forever home! Could I be your new best friend?

I’m a 3-year-old boy who absolutely adores people. Wherever you go, I’ll be just a few steps behind, ready to offer companionship and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give me. At home, I’m a mellow “couch hippo.” I’m calm around everyday household activities, easily adapt to new routines, and generally go with the flow. I’m curious and enjoy exploring, but I also understand and respond well when told “no.”

I do well with other dogs, although I can get a little excited when I see a potential new friend while I’m on leash. I’m currently working on my leash manners and learning how to approach other pups more calmly. With continued guidance and practice, I’ll keep making progress! My sweet nature, loving personality, and loyal shadow routine are sure to charm anyone I meet. I’m ready for a family who will give me plenty of affection, a comfy place on the couch, and a forever home of my own.

7. Charlie

Adult · Male · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hi, I'm Charlie! I'm 5½ years old, and through no fault of my own, I'm urgently looking for a foster or forever home.

I'm a loving, loyal, people-oriented guy who just wants to be close to my humans. I've lived with a young child and have been gentle, patient, and affectionate with kids. I'm potty trained, crate trained, know my basic manners, and I'm the kind of dog who's happiest curled up next to the people I love.

Read more about Charlie

I'm also good with other dogs, but I need slow introductions and a family willing to help me continue working on my resource guarding. With patience, consistency, and someone willing to invest in me, I know I can keep making progress. I'm also a little timid around loud noises, so I'd do best with people who understand that sometimes I just need reassurance. I do have very mild arthritis starting in my back legs and spine, but right now I just take Cosequin and keep enjoying life.

I didn't expect to be looking for another home, but here I am. I'm hoping someone sees past my imperfections and gives me the chance I deserve. Every dog deserves a family that's willing to stick by them, and I promise I'll return that love tenfold.

If you can foster or adopt me, please reach out. I really need a safe place to land.

I walk well on a leash, appear to be potty trained, and did well on my temperament test with a female Pit Bull. I have so many great qualities that could make me an amazing companion — I just need someone to give me the chance to show them outside of the shelter. I'm a friendly, affectionate guy who enjoys spending time with people and getting plenty of attention. Give me some belly rubs, and you'll quickly see my happy, loving side!

I also love getting outside. Walks are one of my favorite things, and I enjoy taking my time to sniff, explore, and see what's happening around me. I'm still an active boy and have enjoyed walking alongside other compatible dogs.

10. Albert

Puppy · Male · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hi, I'm Albert! I'm a handsome 7–9 month-old, 40 lb puppy looking for my forever home. I'm a friendly, playful guy who loves people (including kids!), other dogs, walks, toys, water, playing outside, and going on adventures. I can be a little shy at first, but I've come a long way in foster care and am gaining confidence every day.

Read more about Albert

I'm crate trained, mostly potty trained, healthy, and super smart—I already know commands like sit, stay, come, down, place, and leave it! As a young pup, I'm still learning good manners and would do best with a family that can continue my training and help me keep building confidence. I am learning how to play/socialize with other dogs and require guidance and supervision around other dog companions and a dog whose play style matches my energy. Little is known about any interaction with other animals although I do see bunnies and squirrels on walks and show interest (not intense interest)

I have a big heart, a fun-loving personality, and lots of love to give. I can't wait to find my forever family!

I was adopted once, but sadly, I’m back at the shelter in Nevada and still waiting for someone to give me the loving home I deserve. I urgently need a foster or forever family to help me get out of the shelter and start a new chapter!

The shelter thinks I’m about 4 years old, and I weigh around 80 lbs. I also have the most gorgeous smile!

In my previous home, I had a tendency to wander off, so I’ll need a family who can provide me with the proper structure, supervision, and a secure environment to help me thrive.

13. Star

Adult · Female · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Hello! Star here! I’m formerly Esme, but being such a bright personality, Star just makes more sense. I am 6 years old and got my jail break last month from a very scary shelter in Devore, CA. I wasn’t going to make it out of there alive, BUT these nice hoomans saved me and so, the rest is history! Some fun things to know about me…I prefer dogs my own size, (I truly adore my foster sisters who are the same size as me, and all different ages too!) but no small dogs, cats or children under age 12 please. My crate is not my best friend, however I’m learning quickly that’s where I get my favorite thing…FOOD! (I was pretty skinny before I was rescued.) I bond really fast and would thrive in a home where we can be home together most of the time! I’m highly intelligent and learn by about the second-third try (so that requires proper guidance techniques!) I just need a savvy adopter who gets me since I love to learn and would make a great companion animal! I also do best with a routine…I’ve never had one before but knowing I will get yummy food and a soft bed helps me day in and day out to feel safe and just be happy with you! Winter is arriving and I’ve been told by my foster family that I am the best snuggler (besides a few snores.) If you are home, where I can be warm and hang out with you most of the time, just imagine the cuddles we could have! I would so love to be a lapdog or just rest beside you while you get your things done around the house.

I have some back leg pain and skin allergies (being monitored by the vet). I prefer quiet spaces and gentle introductions. Please give me pets and scratches on my chest, neck, or head—no pats, especially near my tail, as I’m still healing emotionally.

17. Tuck

Adult · Male · Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)

Tuck is a happy-go-lucky, 2 to 3-year-old pup who’s all heart and wiggles. At 55 pounds, he might look like a medium-sized dog, but in his mind, he’s 100% lap dog. He lives for love, cuddles, and being close to his people. Tuck’s journey hasn’t been easy—he found himself on the euthanasia list at an LA shelter due to fear, anxiety, and stress in his kennel. But once he landed in a loving foster home through P4P, his true personality blossomed. Now, he's ready to find his forever family. Tuck is incredibly dog-friendly and currently shares his foster home with an adorable pack of pups, including playful 9-week-old foster puppies and a wise 8-year-old French Bulldog.

Read more about Tuck

He’s been gentle, tolerant, and even puppy-approved! While he hasn’t met children yet, his sweet and social nature suggests he’d do just fine with proper introductions. This energetic guy loves to stay active—daily exercise is a must! Tuck enjoys trotting around the yard with a ball in his mouth (though he’s not quite sold on the concept of fetch), squeaky toys, and daily walks. He's still mastering his leash manners but is improving every day with his Easy Walk harness. After all that activity, Tuck is a champion snuggler. He loves couch time and is happiest curled up next to his person—or in their bed. He’s a smart cookie too—he knows his name, responds well to corrections, and has shown zero signs of resource guarding or aggression. Tuck has handled free roam of the house like a pro while his foster mom is at work—no destruction, and he’ll use a potty pad if needed. Crates aren’t his favorite (understandable, given his past), but he’s proven he doesn’t need one. One unique trait: Tuck has a quiet, raspy bark—likely due to damaged or removed vocal cords. But don't worry, his heart speaks volumes. It's clear he was once loved, and he's more than ready to be cherished again. 2025 hasn’t been Tuck’s year… yet. But with the right family, he’s ready for his happily ever after. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, a playful spirit, and world-class cuddles, Tuck might just be your perfect match. Ready to meet Tuck? He’s ready to love you. Though I don't get along too well with dogs showing aggression and I don't like to visit dog beaches or parks. I would do best in a home with a slower and more chill lifestyle. I have two foster pup siblings that I have been peacefully spending time with! 19. Polly

Female · Pit Bull Terrier

Hi Friends! My name is Polly and I am a sweet & adorable gal looking for her forever home I am 10 years old and so excited to finally be a part of a family who will love and adore me just as much as I will love and adore them! My foster family has been taking care of me while I wait for my forever home and here are some things they have to say about me: I cannot hear, but can pick up on cues - like when my leash is being put on, I know it is time for a walk. Speaking of walks, I don’t require long walks, but do like a lot of attention! I would do best in a home with a family that is around for most/all of the day, and with a yard where I can happily roam I am house trained, crate-trained, and do well on walks! Occasionally, I may have accidents in the home especially if I have not gone to the bathroom in a few hours, so it is best for me to wear a diaper to be cautious! Some of my favorite things are soft treats and human attention I have not been around children yet, or other smaller animals like cats, but do not get along well with small dogs If introduced very slowly, I have previously gotten along with other dogs that are calm! At my foster family’s home, I have a foster sibling and get a bit jealous over human affection.

Resource guarding is a behavior trait of mine, as you will need to be aware of especially around other dogs! Some medical things to be aware of as well: I have some mobility issues and arthritis in my knees, hips, and spine, so I take medication daily Occasionally, I will wake up in my sleep (perhaps from a bad dream) and howl/cry for about 20 seconds and stop soon after My foster family describes me as low-maintenance (but of course lots of love needed) If you are looking for the sweetest pup to make so happy, you know where to find me! Approved adopters sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which helps offset the cost of vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter, and other veterinary care. Current adoption fees are $500 for puppies (newborn to 1 year), $300 for adult dogs (1–8 years), $250 for senior dogs (8+ years), and $500 for purebred dogs of any age. Adoption fees are subject to change and may vary based on an individual dog's age, breed, medical needs, or other factors.
