2. Rylo
Puppy (9 months) · Male · Border Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)

MEET RYLO!
9 months old
Chihuahua / Border Terrier mix
Male
19 lbs
Sweet, playful & full of love!
Meet
Rylo
, an adorable 9-month-old pup with a BIG personality packed into his little 19-pound body! Rylo is a happy, energetic, affectionate boy who loves being around his people. He has tons of love to give and is always ready for cuddles, kisses, playtime, and adventures.
Rylo is
very friendly and playful
and would love a home where he has plenty of room to burn off his puppy energy. A home with a yard would be wonderful for him, or he may enjoy having another playful dog around to keep him company and help tire him out!
❤️
ABOUT RYLO:
Read more about Rylo
Friendly, affectionate, and playful
High-energy and loves to run and play
Loves cuddling and sleeping with his people
Could enjoy having a playful dog friend
Has lived in apartments before, but would love more space
Surprisingly loves bath time and is super easy to bathe!
Smart and a quick learner
Sweet-natured and not aggressive
Rylo is still working on his
potty training
. His previous home allowed him to potty indoors and on the balcony, so he is learning a completely new routine. He is making progress, but his future family will need to continue working with him, give him frequent potty breaks, and be patient while he learns. He may also have an occasional excited pee when he gets really happy.
Cats:
Rylo has been living with three cats. He means them no harm, but when he gets excited, he wants to jump, run, and play, which can be overwhelming for cats. A home without cats may be the easiest fit unless the cats are confident and accustomed to energetic dogs.
People & Kids:
Rylo does well with people. He can sometimes bark when meeting someone new or around young children, but he responds well to correction and has already been improving. He can actually be a bit of a scaredy-cat himself sometimes! Underneath all that puppy excitement is a very sweet boy who wants to feel safe and loved.
Rylo’s current family loves him and hoped they could make things work, but living in a one-bedroom apartment with three cats simply isn’t the best environment for his energetic personality. They want to find him a home where he can
run, play, continue learning, and get all the love and attention he deserves.
❤️
Rylo is still just a puppy with so much potential. With some consistency, patience, exercise, and continued training, he is going to make an amazing companion.
Interested in giving Rylo his forever home?

3. Petunia
Young (4 years) · Female · French Bulldog (short coat)

MEET PETUNIA
28 lbs • Female French Bulldog • Professional Cuddle Bug
Petunja’s story is one of our favorites. When we first met her, she was terrified of people and unsure of the world around her. Today? She absolutely LOVES meeting new people.
This sweet girl has blossomed while being fostered with one of our trainers, who has helped her build confidence and become the happy, affectionate girl we knew was hiding inside.
Petunja’s perfect day is pretty simple: be by your side, get some love, give even more love back, play with her toys, have the occasional case of the zoomies… and then get right back to lounging.

Incredibly affectionate & people-loving

Professional lounger
Good breathing for a French Bulldog
Petunja hasn’t had much experience with other dogs, so we’re looking for a home where she can be the only pet for now. Because of her past, older, respectful children would be the best fit for her.
She’s already done the hard part learning that people can be kind and that life can be good.
Now she just needs someone to show her that home can be forever.
Could that be you?

5. Floyd
Young (2 years) · Female · Siberian Husky / Mixed (medium coat)

MEET FLOYD — LOOKING FOR A RESCUE OR LOVING HOME
Name: Floyd
Age: Approximately 2 years old
Breed: Husky mix
⚖️ Weight: Approximately 35–45 lbs
♀️ Female • Spayed
Floyd has already been through so much, and now we’re hoping to help her find the safe and loving future she deserves. ❤️
We first met Floyd while feeding stray dogs in Tijuana. She was having trouble walking and her body was extremely jumpy and uncomfortable. At first, we assumed she was another dog living on the streets, but we eventually found her owner.
Read more about Floyd
Because of the owner’s disability and health circumstances, caring for Floyd and keeping her safely contained has become increasingly difficult. There is now concern that she could end up on the streets, so we are doing everything we can to find a rescue willing to take her in or help us find her a permanent home.
When we got Floyd veterinary care, we discovered that she was dealing with a serious uterine infection (pyometra) and was also heavily infested with ticks. Her condition was extremely serious, and without treatment she could have died.
We sponsored her surgery and continued helping with her recovery, including medication, vitamins, nutritious food, and other veterinary-recommended care.
And Floyd has been fighting her way back. ❤️
She went from barely being able to walk to standing and walking much better. Her tick infestation is gone, she is gaining weight, looking healthier, and getting stronger. Her veterinarian expects her to continue improving with proper nutrition, vitamins, and care.
Now she needs the next piece of her story: a safe place to land.
My friends and I are actually cat trappers in San Diego who primarily help our community through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). When we travel to Tijuana, we also bring food for animals in need and look for sponsors to help families get their pets spayed and neutered.
We aren’t a dog rescue, but after everything Floyd has been through, we couldn’t walk away from her.
We are reaching out in hopes that a reputable rescue, foster, or adopter can step forward and give this sweet girl the chance she deserves.
Floyd survived the hardest part. Now we just need to make sure she never has to fight for survival again.

8. Milo
Adult (6 years 1 month) · Male · Mountain Cur / Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

MEET MILO — A SURVIVOR READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME
It’s hard to imagine everything Milo has been through and even harder to understand how, after all of it, he is still such a gentle and loving soul.
Milo is estimated to be around
6 years old and weighs about 45 lbs.
He was rescued from the streets of Tijuana in heartbreaking condition. He was
severely emaciated, nothing but skin and bones, and suffering from terrible mange.
His body told the story of a dog who had been struggling for far too long.
But Milo never gave up. ❤️
After several weeks of treatment,
Milo has now been medically cleared to leave the kennel and continue his recovery in a home.
Read more about Milo
He still needs to gain weight and regrow his beautiful coat, but we already know there is a handsome boy waiting to emerge. More importantly, his personality has already begun to shine.
Despite everything he has endured, Milo is
incredibly sweet, gentle, and good with other dogs.
Even while living in a small kennel, he does everything he can to keep his space clean, waiting until he is taken outside to go potty. We believe this sweet boy understands what it means to keep his living space clean and may transition wonderfully into home life.
Milo did have
entropion
, a condition affecting his eyelids, and he got that surgery that fixed that.
What Milo needs now is something medicine alone cannot give him:
a home.
A soft bed. A person to love. A place where he can finally understand that he is safe and that he will never have to fight to survive again.
We would love to find someone willing to look beyond what Milo looks like today and see the dog he is becoming. With good food, continued care, patience, and love, we know this sweet boy is going to blossom. ❤️
After everything Milo has survived,
his next chapter deserves to be his best one.
Interested in meeting Milo and helping him continue to blossom?

Steph:

MORE ABOUT CEDAR
Read more about Cedar
Cedar is a handsome 4-year-old Mountain Cur mix with a sweet, adventurous spirit. He loves exploring the outdoors and is always ready for a hike, long walk, or playtime at the dog park. Once he’s had his exercise, he settles nicely indoors and enjoys relaxing with his family. He is independent enough to be comfortable on his own, but also enjoys having canine companions.
Cedar has an excellent training foundation. He completed a premium 5-week professional board-and-train program and is fully crate trained. He knows Sit, Down, Up, Leave It, Wait, Paw, and Roll, and has reliable recall at shorter distances. Watching him run and play is one of his greatest joys.
In most public settings, Cedar is friendly and does very well around both people and other dogs. Like many dogs, he has a few specific triggers that require thoughtful management. On occasion, he may react to things such as loose or baggy clothing, bicycles passing by, or items like bags or blankets being carried. Because of this, he will do best with an owner who is attentive, understands canine body language, and is comfortable proactively managing his environment.
Cedar will thrive in a home that provides consistency, clear expectations, regular exercise, and plenty of affection. He forms strong bonds with his people and is incredibly loyal once he feels secure. While the transition to a new home may take some time, an experienced and patient owner who continues the structure and training he’s already received will be rewarded with a devoted, fun-loving, and wonderful companion.

This handsome brindle boy with the sweetest black snout is affectionate, goofy, intelligent, and full of love. Young (6 months) · Male · Husky / Alaskan Klee Kai / Mixed (long coat)

Meet Champ ✨
Champ is a 4-year-old Husky under 60lbs of pure marshmallow fluff, turbo wiggles, and cuddle-fueled nonsense
This handsome goober spent most of his life in a yard and house, so the outside world is basically Disneyland with squirrels. Every person he meets is instantly promoted to “Most Important Human Ever.” His reaction? Tiny kangaroo boings followed by aggressively attempting to become one with your lap. Personal space? Sounds fake.
Read more about Champ
Champ is amazing with people, ridiculously sweet, listens well, and operates almost entirely on love and snacks. He’s the kind of dog that stares at you like you invented cheese, naps, and the moon itself.
He does have a high prey drive, so he’ll need someone who understands huskies and can keep helping him learn that not every moving leaf is a national emergency.

20. Stellie
Young (5 months 18 days) · Female · Husky / Shepherd / Mixed (long coat)

Meet Stellie ✨
65lbs of sass, opinions, and dramatic commentary looking for her forever home.
Stellie is a White Shepherd/Husky mix who has completed her board and train program and is officially ready for adoption! If you’ve ever wanted a dog that talks back like a tiny furry life coach… congratulations, your soulmate has arrived.
This girl has SOMETHING to say about everything:
✔ Dinner was 3 minutes late? She’ll discuss it.
✔ You stopped petting her too soon? Unacceptable.
✔ You had a bad day? She’s ready for a full conversation and emotional support session.
Read more about Stellie
And don’t even get us started on the eye contact. Stellie stares directly into your soul like she’s judging your life choices while somehow still looking adorable enough to get away with it.
Behind all the sass, she’s a very sweet girl who loves being around people and has done amazing in training. She is:
Crate trained
Leash trained
Completed board and train
Smart, expressive, and full of personality
Stellie has not been around cats, so we do not recommend a cat home. She also has not been introduced to dogs during training yet. She has not been around young children, but we think older kids who understand boundaries would likely be fine.
Her past wasn’t easy — Stellie was found as a stray and is believed to have belonged to a homeless individual before coming into rescue. Despite that, she’s full of life, love, and enough attitude to keep you entertained forever.
If you’re looking for a quiet, invisible dog… keep scrolling.
If you’re looking for a hilarious best friend who will absolutely have opinions about your outfit choices, snacks, and bedtime schedule — Stellie is your girl. ❤️

Adult (6 years 3 months) · Female · Terrier (short coat)

Desert is a sweet, confident 6‑year‑old terrier who loves kids and babies and gets along well with male dogs. Like any classic terrier, she has a high prey drive, so squirrels can make walks exciting, but she’s made great progress with consistent reinforcement. Desert is a loving, loyal companion ready for a home that appreciates her bold terrier spirit.

He knows all his basic commands, settles easily in his crate, and enjoys being near his people without being overly clingy. Cooper can be protective and slow to warm up, but once he trusts someone, he becomes a loving, playful companion who lives for a good game of fetch. His interactions with other dogs vary, so slow introductions are best, and he’ll thrive with an experienced owner who can give him plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. Cooper is a bright, energetic dog with so much heart he just needs the right person to help him shine.
