Introducing Cole — A Little Mystery, a Lot to Love! We’re not exactly sure what breeds went into making Cole, but whatever the mix, the result is one handsome guy complete with nicely situated spotted and brindle markings on his mostly black coat. Cole is a bigger guy, on the border of medium and large, with a wonderfully gentle approach to life. Pulling on the leash? Not his style! He prefers to take his time, exploring, sniffing, and ambling along, with frequent check-ins to make sure his human is still enjoying the stroll. He’s curious about dogs he passes but remains friendly and relaxed.

Introducing Jason — A Sweetheart with a Hunter’s Heart!Handsome Jason is a sweet, young, medium-sized hound with a lovable personality and a nose that knows a thing or two about adventure. The majority of the time, Jason is a pleasant walking companion who doesn’t pull on the leash; but let him catch an interesting scent or spot a woodland critter, and suddenly his inner hunting dog spirit springs to life! His excitement is contagious, and he may do a little bouncing and dancing as he dreams of giving chase. Fortunately, his smaller size makes him quite manageable.Jason is especially animated when he’s near the road, so he’ll appreciate a watchful handler who can help him navigate all that excitement safely. With his handsome hound looks, sweet disposition, and enthusiastic curiosity about the world, Jason is a delightful character just waiting for someone to share his adventures.

Meet Remi! This handsome, almost 2-year-old Pittie mix is a fun-loving, playful guy who loves making new human friends. Remi absolutely loves his butt rubs and toys, and he’d love nothing more than to spend his time with his humans. Remi walks well on leash and is very smart. He’d love a family that keeps both his body and mind active. Plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and play will help Remi be his happiest self. Remi may need some time to warm up when meeting a new dog, but once he’s comfortable, he loves showing off his zoomies and wrestling skills. Remi will need a properly matched dog in the home.

From Nanook’s current foster family:Nanook is a 9-year-old husky/shepherd/lab mix VERY deserving of a loving retirement home and comfy couch. He has come into our home from an uncertain past but has proven to be sweet and calm. His eye area is still healing from a previous injury. He walks great on a leash and rides well in a car.We started him in a kennel when we weren't home, but we quickly realized he wasn't going to destroy anything so once he settles in he is safe to be trusted out of a kennel. He is great with his foster brother, they mostly ignore each other. Like a true sibling he just wants equal attention.

Introducing Petey!Dark and handsome, Petey is the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart. When you first meet him, he may hang back for a few minutes. He loves affection and will happily lean right into you while you offer it. Petey is already showing us what a good boy he is. He hasn't minded being around other dogs or cats, and each day we're helping him build the confidence he deserves.
